Abstract

Business Model Canvas (BMC) is an alternative option to create new business models. BMC includes customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners, and cost structure. They are able to support companies aligning their business activities. By applying BMC, companies have several alternatives of business models. A research was conducted in order to apply BMC for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Jember Regency. The descriptive method was employed to arrange BMC, while the qualitative analysis was applied for data analysis. Primary data collection was obtained by customers’ interview. This paper describes the business plan of SOLOG (Analogue Sausage) product and application of BMC in the SMEs. The BMC creation for SOLOG was done in three stages. The first stage was a problem test, the second stage was a solution test and the last stage was verification model business. The last stage was chosen as the business model recommendation that is suitable as a reference in the business activities of SOLOG product.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to make chicken sausage substitution using analog meat from gluten, soy protein isolate, wheat flour, Anjasmoro soybean, and gembili tuber flour to reduce chicken meat used and produce sausages with the same quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the sausage’s physical, chemical, and sensory properties. The formulation of chicken sausage with analog meat substitution used a completely randomized design method with a single factor (chicken meat and analog meat ratio), with five treatments and each treatment was repeated three times. The five treatments are P1 = 90% chicken meat : 10% analog meat, P2 = 80% chicken meat : 20% analog meat, P3 = 70% chicken meat : 30% analog meat, P4 = 60% chicken meat : 40% analog meat and P5 = 50% chicken : 50% analog meat. The results showed that the substitution of chicken meat with analog meat had a significant effect on the physical, chemical, and sensory properties of chicken sausage. The results show that 70% chicken meat and 30% analog meat is the best treatment.Keywords: analog meat, chicken sausage, substitution AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat substitusi sosis daging ayam menggunakan daging analog dari gluten, isolat protein kedelai, tepung terigu, kedelai Anjasmoro dan tepung umbi gembili. Sehingga dapat mengurangi penggunaan daging ayam dan dapat menghasilkan sosis dengan kualitas yang sama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan sifat fisik, kimia dan sensorik sosis. Formulasi pembuatan sosis daging ayam dengan substitusi daging analog, menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap dengan faktor tunggal (rasio penambahan daging ayam dan daging analog) dengan lima perlakuan serta masing - masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali ulangan. Lima perlakuan tersebut ialah P1 = 90% daging ayam : 10% daging analog, P2 = 80% daging ayam : 20% daging analog, P3 = 70% daging ayam : 30% daging analog, P4 = 60% daging ayam : 40% daging analog dan P5 = 50% daging ayam : 50% daging analog. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa susbtitusi daging ayam dengan daging analog berpengaruh nyata terhadap sifat fisik, kimia, dan sensorik sosis ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan70% daging ayam dan 30% daging analog adalah perlakuan terbaik.Kata Kunci: daging analog, sosis daging ayam, substitusi

Abstract

Acceleration of food self-sufficiency, especially rice, can be performed by providing optimal means of production, mechanization, technology, and intensive assistance to farmers. In order for these activities to be successful as expected, the government has intensively involved various parties to provide escort and assistance. One of the factors that determine the success of escorting and mentoring farmers is the involvement of agricultural extension agents. The speed of application of technological innovations and the way of working in agriculture can be channeled properly through extension activities. “Jajar Legowo” rice planting system is one of the innovations in the rice planting model. This system has been being implemented intensively in Pagung Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency. The successful application of “Jajar Legowo” planting system was the object of the study, especially in terms of the involvement of agricultural extension agents in assisting farmers in this village. This research employed descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods through survey. In addition, the research also utilized descriptive analysis and scoring through a Likert scale approach and simple linear regression. The results revealed that the role of agricultural extension agents was quite successful in encouraging farmers and their groups to apply the “Jajar Legowo” rice planting system.Percepatan swasembada pangan, khususnya padi dapat dilakukan dengan menyediakan sarana produksi secara optimal, mekanisasi, teknologi, dan pendampingan petani secara intensif. Supaya kegiatan tersebut berhasil sesuai dengan harapan, pemerintah secara intensif telah melibatkan berbagai pihak untuk melakukan pengawalan dan pendampinga. Salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan pengawalan dan pendampingan petani adalah dengan melibatkan penyuluh pertanian. Karena kecepatan penerapan inovasi teknologi maupun cara kerja di bidang pertanian bisa tersalurkan dengan baik melaui aktifitas penyuluhan. Sistem tanam padi jajar legowo merupakan salah satu inovasi dalam model penanaman padi. Sistem ini mulai dilakukan secara intensif di Desa Pagung Kecamatan Semen Kabupaten Kediri. Keberhasilan penerapan sistem tanam jajar legowo menjadi obyek dalam penelitian. Terutama dalam hal keterlibatan penyuluh pertanian dalam mendampingi petani di desa ini. Penggunaan metode penelitian yaitu secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui teknik survei. Selain itu juga menggunakan analisa deskriptif dan skoring melalui pendekatan skala Likert dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa peran penyuluh pertanian cukup berhasil dalam mendorong petani dan kelompoknya untuk menerapkan sistem tanam padi jajar legowo.

Abstract

Ear mushroom (Auricularia aurilajudae) is a potential fungus as a food ingredient and has medicinal properties. Ear mushroom development is profitable because of the high demand and high selling prices. One of the problems in ear mushroom cultivation is the composition of the growing media which has a big effect on its production. This study aims to determine the composition of the best growing media for ear mushroom production. This study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) with one factor, namely the composition of the growing media (1000 gr of sawdust and 200 gr cocopeat (M1); 1000 gr of sawdust and 200 gr of rice bran (M2); 1000 gr of sawdust, 100 gr cocopeat, and 100 gr bran (M3); powder sawdust 1000 gr, cocopeat 135 gr and bran 65 gr (M4); sawdust 1000 gr, cocopeat 65 gr, and rice bran 135 gr (M5). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and further tests with the least significant difference (LSD) at 5% if the results were significant. The composition of the planting medium had a very significant effect on the number of hoods, cover area, wet weight, and dry weight of ear mushrooms. However, the composition of the planting medium did not affect the growth rate of mycelium. The best composition of the planting medium for ear mushroom production was 1000 gr sawdust, cocopeat 65 gr, and bran 135 gr.Jamur kuping (Auricularia auriculajudae) merupakan jamur potensial sebagai bahan makanan dan berkhasiat obat. Pengembangan jamur kuping menguntungkan karena tingginya permintaan dan harga jual yang tinggi. Permasalahan dalam budidaya jamur kuping salah satunya adalah komposisi media tanam yang berpengaruh besar terhadap produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi media tanam yang terbaik bagi produksi jamur kuping. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor yaitu komposisi media tanam (serbuk gergaji 1000 gr dan cocopeat 200 gr (M1); serbuk gergaji 1000 gr dan bekatul 200 gr (M2); serbuk gergaji 1000 gr, cocopeat 100 gr dan bekatul 100 gr (M3); serbuk gergaji 1000 gr, cocopeat 135 gr dan bekatul 65 gr (M4); serbuk gergaji 1000 gr, cocopeat 65 gr dan bekatul 135 gr (M5). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian dan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) taraf 5% apabila hasil signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah tudung, luas tudung, berat basah, dan berat kering jamur kuping. Namun komposisi media tanam tidak berpengaruh pada kecepatan laju pertumbuhan miselium. Komposisi media tanam terbaik untuk produksi jamur kuping adalah serbuk gergaji 1000 gr, cocopeat 65 gr dan bekatul 135 gr

Abstract

This study examined a small-scale gourami cultivation system based on soil ponds at a gourami cultivation center in Kediri Regency, namely Mojosari Village, Kras District. The economic analysis was based on interview, observation, and documentation data collected from 30 gourami farmers. Preliminary data documentation showed that gourami cultivation was characterized by a fairly long cultivation period. Although from observations, the cultivation of gourami was performed traditionally with minimal use of appropriate technology, less attention to the quality of cultivation techniques, and less efficient use of production costs, the results of data analysis show that this cultivation was profitable and feasible to continue. The total business cost of gourami on the criteria for a narrow pond was IDR 25,855,334.00 and in the criteria for an average pool area was IDR 44,170,834.00. The average production of gourami in small-size pond was 1342 kg and in large-size pond was 2157 kg with fish price of IDR 32,000 per kilogram. The total average income of gourami farming on the criteria for small-size and large-size pond area were IDR 42,944,000.00 and IDR 69,024,000.00 respectively, with an average income of IDR 17,088,666.00 and IDR 24,853,666.00 respectivelyStudi ini meneliti sistem budidaya ikan gurami skala kecil berbasis kolam tanah di sentra budidaya ikan gurami di Kabupaten Kediri, yaitu Desa Mojosari Kecamatan Kras. Analisis ekonomi didasarkan pada data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dikumpulkan dari 30 peternak ikan gurami di lokasi penelitian. Dokumentasi data awal menunjukkan bahwa budidaya ikan gurami ditandai oleh periode budidaya yang cukup panjang. Meski dari observasi tampak bahwa budidaya ikan gurami ini dilakukan secara tradisional dengan sangat minimnya penggunaan teknologi tepat guna, kurang memperhatikan aspek mutu teknik budidaya, dan kurang efisien dalam penggunaan biaya produksi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa budidaya ini menguntungkan dan layak untuk diteruskan. Biaya total usaha rata–rata ternak ikan gurami pada kriteria luas kolam sempit sebesar Rp25.855.334,00 dan pada kriteria luas kolam luas rata–rata sebesar Rp44.170.834,00. Produksi rata–rata usaha ternak ikan gurami pada luas kolam sempit sebesar 1342 kg dan pada luas kolam luas sebesar 2157 kg dengan harga ikan sebesar Rp32.000,00 per kilogram. Total penerimaan rata–rata usaha ternak ikan gurami pada kriteria luas kolam sempit dan luas masing-masing sebesar Rp42.944.000,00 dan Rp69.024.000,00 dengan pendapatan rata–rata masing-masing sebesar Rp17.088.666,00 dan Rp24.853.666,00.

Abstract

Noni or pace (Morinda citrifolia) is a medicinal plant with much interest from entrepreneurs in the traditional medicine industry and researchers in various countries. This study aimed to design the development of an agro-industry business (UD. ZAM) to increase competitiveness. The design of this research was descriptive using the expert system method. The analysis technique employed the MSME DSS software version 2.0 with a legal, marketing, management, human resources, environmental, and financial analysis model to design a Decision Support System. The results obtained were that UD. ZAM already had complete business legalization, such as Company Registration Certificate (TDP) 13.07.5.47.25386, Trading Business License (SIUP) 503/0087/411/2015, Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) 72.691.633.1-626.000, and Permit Industrial Business (IUI) 503/3212/411/2015, and P-IRT NO2133509103570-21. Therefore, with the license certificate, UD. ZAM was legal. In the marketing of noni products so far, it is export-oriented, which has advantages so that it can be developed. In terms of production performance, it shows the required production process and aspects of human resources provided by UD. ZAM standard regional minimum wage (UMR) and employment in rural areas, in a high feasibility environment, because it was easy to obtain materials and in financial aspects such as the assumption of an interest rate of 15%, break event point (BEP) quantity 25,833.87 and ( BEP) sales 261.397.03.77, benefit coast ratio (BCR) 2.35, payback period 1.23, net present value (NPV) 18.066.137.185.78, probability index (PI) 11, 28, and internal rate of return (IRR) 56.44. Keywords: Noni Agroindustry; Decision Support System (DSS).Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) adalah tanaman obat yang banyak peminatnya dari kalangan pengusaha industri obat tradisional dan peneliti diberbagai negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang pengembangan usaha agroindustri UD. ZAM untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif menggunakan metode expert system. Teknik analisis menggunakan software DSS UMKM version 2.0 dengan model analisis aspek hukum, aspek pemasaran, aspek produksi, aspek manajemen dan sumber daya manusia, aspek lingkungan, dan aspek keuangan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah UD. ZAM telah memiliki kelengkapan legalisasi usaha Tanda Daftar Perusahaan (TDP) 13.07.5.47.25386, Surat Izin Usaha Perdagangan (SIUP) 503/0087/411/2015, Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) 72.691.633.1-626.000, Izin Usaha Industri (IUI) 503/3212/411/2015, dan P-IRT NO2133509103570-21. Pemasaran produk noni selama ini berorientasi ekspor yang memiliki kelebihan kepastian pasar sehingga layak untuk dikembangkan, pada aspek kinerja produksi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan rendah, aspek sumber daya manusia sistem upah yang diberikan oleh UD. ZAM standart Upah Minimum Regional (UMR) dan memberi lapangan pekerjaan pada masyarakat pedesaan, pada aspek kinerja lingkungan tingkat kelayakan tinggi, karena selama ini mudah untuk mendapatkan bahan baku, pada aspek keuangan seperti asumsi tingkat bunga sebesar 15%, break event point (BEP) kuantitas 25.833.87 maupun (BEP) penjualan 261.397.03,77,benefit coast ratio (BCR) 2,35, payback period 1,23, net present value (NPV) 18.066.137.185,78, probability index (PI) 11,28, dan internal rate of return(IRR) 56,44 maka layak dikembangkan lebih lanjut

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the costs, revenues, and profits of the cassava chips home industry in one production process, and (2) the profitability of the cassava chips home industry in one production process. This research was determined by purposive sampling, namely the determination of the sample with a specific purpose. Purposive sampling can be interpreted as sampling based on intentional, Determination of the research area is determined proportionally in the District of Kampak, Trenggalek Regency. The sampling method used in this study is the census method. Where all samples in the research area were taken as samples. The results of the study on cassava chips entrepreneurs in Kampak sub-district, Trenggalek district showed that the average of cassava raw materials was 250 kilograms at the price of cassava at the time of the study of Rp. of 25,000 per kilogram. With the calculation results after the analysis is as follows: (1) the average entrepreneur spends Rp. 1,036,684, generating revenue of Rp. 1,500,000, and an income of Rp. 463,316. (2) The average daily profit generated is 44.69% higher than the bank interest rate of 17.50 per year or 0.05 per day for micro businesses.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan oleh Kelompok UMKM di bawah pimpinan / ketua Suko Wiyono di Desa Ngletih Barat, Kecamatan Kandat, Kabupaten Kediri . Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, menggunakan metode surei lapangan untuk melihat potensi apa yang dapat digunakan untuk media tanam organik, dalam hal ini menggunakan limbah organik pertanian, dengan prinsip mudah didapat dan murah harganya. Sedangkan untuk metode pengabdiannya yang dilakukan berupa sosialisasi atau pemberian informasi terkait pembuatan media tanam organi dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab serta langsung praktek tentang tatacara pembuatan media tanam organik. Sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan semua bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk praktek telah disediakan oleh masyarakat umkm seperti tanah subur, kompos (pupuk kandan dan arang sekam padi. Dari pelatihan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa pembuatan media tanam organik memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat bagaimana membuat media tanam organi yang baik dengan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan yang sangat mudah untuk ditemui seperti pupuk kandang dan sekam padi. Diharapkan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman sehingga dapat diterapkan umkm yang diketuai bapak Suko Riyono khususnya dan masyarakat umkm yang ada di Desa Ngletih Barat, Kecamatan Kandat, Kabupaten Kediri pada umumnya.

Abstract

Farming activities at this time can be used as a good activity to fill time in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. These activities can be done around the yard around their respective homes. However, these activities are hindered by costs, such as buying containers for planting media and fertilizers. To reduce the cost of purchasing plastic containers and fertilizers, which are relatively expensive. Plastic containers for planting media can be replaced with used plastic packaging, such as packaged cooking oil containers and so on. Besides being able to save on farming costs, the use of used plastic containers can also reduce plastic waste. The fertilizer that will be used can also be replaced with compost from organic waste. It can also reduce or manage organic waste management. Such conditions can be used as community service activities as a form of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This activity aims to introduce, train, and assist in the manufacture of compost and the use of used plastic containers as planting media. This activity is considered relevant and suitable to be given to the community. As an effort to reduce plastic waste and manage organic waste around the community. The benchmark for service activities uses a satisfaction questionnaire assessment given to the target community of service. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the target community for community service activities who live in Jati Hamlet, Jati Village, Tarokan District, Kediri Regency. Proven to have additional insight, to utilize used plastic packaging as a plant medium and to manage solid and liquid compost from organic waste.Aktifitas bercocok tanam pada saat ini bisa dijadikan kegiatan yang bagus untuk mengisi waktu di tengah pandemi covid-19. Aktifitas tersebut bisa dilakukan di sekitar lahan pekarangan yang ada di sekitar rumah masing - masing. Akan tetapi, aktifitas tersebut terhalang dengan biaya, seperti membeli wadah untuk media tanam dan pupuk. Untuk mengurangi biaya pembelian wadah plastik dan pupuk yang relatif cukup mahal. Wadah plastik untuk media tanam bisa diganti dengan kemasan bekas plastik, seperti wadah minyak goreng kemasan dan sebagainya. Selain bisa menghemat biaya bercocok tanam, penggunaan wadah bekas plastik, juga bisa mengurangi sampah plastik. Pupuk yang akan digunakan juga bisa diganti dengan pupuk kompos dari sampah organik. Hal ini juga bisa mengurangi atau manajemen pengelolaan sampah organik. Kondisi seperti bisa dijadikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai wujud Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk pengenalan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan pupuk kompos dan pemanfaatan wadah plastik bekas sebagai media tanamnya Kegiatan ini dinilai relevan dan cocok diberikan kepada masyarakat. Sebagai upaya pengurangan sampah plastik dan pengeloaan sampah organik di sekitar masyarakat. Tolak ukur kegiatan pengabdian menggunakan penilaian kuisioner kepuasan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat sasaran pengabdian. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner, masyarakat sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal di Dusun Jati Desa Jati Kecamatan Tarokan Kabupaten Kediri ini. Abstract

This scientific article discusses the implementation of a community service program by Kadiri University, focusing on the utilization of household waste as organic fertilizer in Pojok Village, Kediri City. The main purpose of this program was to enhance the community's knowledge and awareness of the importance of organic fertilizers and the effective methods to produce them from organic waste. The applied methods included education and practical training, which were delivered through face-to-face meetings and online learning, with a particular emphasis on the process of transforming organic waste into environmentally friendly and sustainable liquid organic fertilizer. This training targeted community members who had not previously utilized waste in their environment. The process involved disseminating information, participant selection, and conducting training. The main results showed a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of training participants in managing waste and making liquid organic fertilizer. The evaluation showed that almost all training participants could apply the knowledge and skills obtained during the training in their daily practices. This article concluded that this empowerment program has been successful in the effort to increase community literacy and skills in processing household waste into liquid organic fertilizer. Considering these positive results, the community service team hopes to expand the scope of this program to reach more communities, creating a more economically prosperous community and empowering in abilities and knowledge. It is expected that this will contribute to the reduction in the use of chemical fertilizers and an increase in sustainable daily life practices in the future. Artikel ilmiah ini menjelaskan tentang implementasi program pengabdian masyarakat oleh Universitas Kadiri yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga sebagai pupuk organik di Kelurahan Pojok, Kota Kediri. Tujuan utama program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pupuk organik serta cara efektif membuatnya dari limbah organik. Metode yang diaplikasikan mencakup edukasi dan pelatihan praktis, yang disampaikan melalui pertemuan tatap muka dan pembelajaran daring, dengan fokus khusus pada proses transformasi limbah organik menjadi pupuk organik cair yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Pelatihan ini menargetkan masyarakat yang sebelumnya belum memanfaatkan limbah di lingkungan mereka. Proses ini melibatkan penyebaran informasi, seleksi peserta, dan pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil utama menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam mengelola limbah dan membuat pupuk organik cair. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua peserta pelatihan mampu menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh selama pelatihan dalam praktik sehari-hari mereka. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa program pemberdayaan ini telah berhasil dalam upaya meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik cair. Mengingat hasil positif ini, tim pengabdian masyarakat berharap untuk memperluas cakupan program ini untuk mencapai lebih banyak masyarakat, dengan tujuan menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera secara ekonomi dan berdaya dalam kemampuan dan pengetahuan. Diharapkan, ini akan berkontribusi pada pengurangan penggunaan pupuk kimia dan peningkatan praktik kehidupan sehari hari yang berkelanjutan di masa mendatang.
