Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang perbedaan metode pembelajaran ceramah dengan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 orang siswa SMK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara penggunaan metode pembelajaran ceramah dan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya. Penerapan metode tutor sebaya meningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kategori kognitif sebesar 86,1%.  Metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Mekanik sebesar 82,7%. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran teknologi mekanik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat gambaran faktor apa saja yang paling dominan mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode sensus dengan keseluruhan siswa kelas X TPM 1 program keahlian Teknik Pemesinan di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2017-2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran ke enam variabel yang diteliti memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy yang lebih besar dari 0,5. Faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin yaitu dimulai dari aspek motivasi (0,858), aspek minat (0,757), aspek fisiologis (0,722), aspek keadaan sekolah (0,525), aspek lingkungan sosial (0,037), dan terakhir adalah aspek keadaan keluarga (0,037).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an animation-based learning media of corrosion processes in the subject of corrosion and coating. The media produced is a learning media program in the form of .swf file that can be directly installed and accessed on personal computer. This development research (RD) was started with concept exploration to find out the necessary product model, followed by its development through many test steps (expert judgment, limited test, and application test) and correction procedure until the proper product was determined.  The last step was an experimental process to validate the product. The research has result an animation-based interactive media which has good criteria according to the media expert judgment value of 78.3 %, students’ response of 83.0 % and subject matter expert judgment value of 89.0 %. Validity test show that the media has a significant effect to increase a number of students who reach minimum standard competency.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of industrial work practice experience on readiness to enter the world of work of students with competency skills in Mechanical Engineering at SMK N 2 Bandung. The research was conducted at SMK N 2 Bandung with a research sample of 35 students of class XII TP 1 at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. This type of research is survey research using a quantitative descriptive approach. The instrument used to collect data is manifested in the form of a questionnaire about work readinessand work practices. The data obtained were then converted into a Likert scale. This questionnaire consists of 39 items that have been tested for validation and reliability. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS22. The results of this study indicate that industrial work practices have a positive and significant effect on job readiness. This can be seen from the rxi value of 0.710, the coefficient of determination (r2xy) of 0.504 and tcount (5.790) t table (2.035). Based on the coefficient of determination (r2xy) 0.504, it means that 50.4% of students' work readiness is influenced by Industrial Work Practices, while the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to produce multimedia animation from plasma metal sprays that are used as learning media and can improve student-learning outcomes. The ADDIE development model is used to develop Multimedia Animation for plasma metal spraying. The results of expert judmentsshow the level of achievement in the very feasible category. From the results of the user response test, it wasobtained the level of achievement in the excellent category. The results of the analysis of researchers' data at the development evaluation stage stated that the multimedia animation of plasma metalspraying could improve student-learning outcomes. This is indicated by the results of the N-Gain value obtained at 0.68,which categorized asmoderate N-Gain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of e-learning-based learning on the light vehicle engine maintenance lesson, through the planning aspect which includes planning supervision, implementation, and learning evaluation. This study uses quantitative descriptive method. This study took a sample of 4 light vehicle engine maintenance teachers, 32 students, and the principal. The findings of this study showed that the lesson planning which carried out by the teachers was included as good category, the implementation of e-learning-based learning was included as quite good category, the learning evaluation was included as good category, and the planning supervision that is carried out by the principal was included as very good category.

Abstract

In this study, the influence of temperature and H2S concentration on corrosion rate of API 5LX65 carbon steel in 3.5% NaCl solution, pH 4 and rotation speed of 50 rpm during 24 hours have been studied by using weight loss method. The experimental results of carbon steel corrosion in 3.5% NaCl solution containing 500 mg/l H2S at 25, 50, 80, and 97oC showed that steel corrosion rate increases with temperature rise from 25oC to 80oC and decreases at temperature of 97oC. While the experimental results of carbon steel corrosion in 3.5% NaCl solution at 80oC with H2S concentration varied from 10 to 750 mg / l, showed that steel corrosion rate raises with increasing concentration of H2S from 10 to 500 mg / l, and declines at H2S concentration of 750 mg / l. Combined observation using SEM, EDS and XRD showed that the layer of corrosion product is formed. Results of XRD analysis on corroded specimens at 80oC during 24 hours, showed that the corrosion product film consists of iron sulfide (FeS). The surface morphology of these specimens shows the occurrence of pitting attack.****Pada penelitian ini, telah dipelajari pengaruh temperatur dan konsentrasi H2S terhadap laju korosi baja karbon API 5LX65 yang direndam selama 24 jam dalam larutan NaCl 3,5% menggunakan metoda kehilangan berat dengan temperatur dan konsentrasi H2S bervariasi pada pH 4 dan laju putar 50 rpm. Hasil percobaan korosi baja karbon dalam larutan NaCl 3,5% yang mengandung H2S 500 mg/l pada temperatur 25, 50, 80, dan 97oC, menunjukkan  bahwa laju korosi meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya temperatur dari 25 oC  sampai  80oC dan menurun kembali pada temperatur 97oC. Sedangkan hasil percobaan korosi baja karbon dalam larutan NaCl 3,5% dan pH 4 selama 24 jam, laju putar 50 rpm, dan temperatur 80oC, pada berbagai konsentrasi H2S dari 10 sampai 750 mg/l menunjukkan  bahwa laju korosi meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi H2S dari 10 s/d 500 mg/l, dan menurun kembali pada konsentrasi 750 mg/l. Gabungan pengamatan SEM, EDS dan XRD menunjukkan terbentuknya lapisan produk korosi. Hasil analisa XRD spesimen uji yang dikorosikan pada temperatur 80oC selama 24 jam menunjukkan bahwa lapisan produk korosi mengandung besi sulfida (FeS). Morfologi permukaan spesimen ini memperlihatkan adanya korosi sumuran.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to map and identify the potential for soil corrosion for the planning of cathodic gas pipeline protection systems. The research location is located in Cimanggis - Bitung, West Java, which is located at coordinates 6o19'00 "- 6o28'00" South Latitude and 106o43'00 "- 106o 55'30" East Longitude. Measurement of soil resistivity using the Wenner method that refers to ASTM G37, with variations in the distance of 0,75m, 1,50m, 2,50m and 6,00m with the number of measuring points as many as 185 points. Based on the results of data processing and soil resistivity interpretation seen that there are several locations that have low to extreme corrosion levels. Therefore, for these locations, technical planning and calculation for the protection of the pipeline to be installed is necessary.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan analisis perbandingan laju korosi pada cakram ex-Jepang dan cakram tanpa merek dalam medium korosif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan laju korosi antara cakram ex-Jepang dan cakram tanpa merek pada medium korosif. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua medium korosif yaitu larutan NaCl dan larutan Na2CO3 masing-masing mempunyai konsentrasi 3,5%. Sebelum melakukan uji laju korosi, dilakukan uji spektrometri untuk mengetahui masing-masing unsur yang terkandung dalam cakram ex-Jepang dan cakram tanpa merek. Hasil dari pengujian spektrometri membuktikan bahwa unsur masing masing cakram mempunyai unsur yang berbeda-beda yang disinyalir membuat laju korosi pun berbeda-beda. Manfaat dari penelitian ini untuk sebagai media informasi untuk membandingkan laju korosi antara cakram ex-jepang dan cakram tanpa merek. Laju korosi dihitung menggunakan metode kehilangan massa. Penelitian menggunakan 4 variasi waktu. Pengujian dilakukan pada 7, 14, 21 dan 28 hari. Hasil perhitungan setalah dilakukan penelitian menunjukan rata-rata laju korosi tertinggi pada medium larutan NaCl dimiliki oleh cakram tanpa merek pada hasil tertinggi hari ke-21 dengan hasil laju korosi sebesar 50 x 10-6 mm/ tahun. Sama halnya pada medium larutan Na2CO3, hasil laju korosi cakram tanpa merek mempunyai nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan cakram ex-Jepang dengan hasil rata-rata sebesar 6 x 10-6 mm/ tahun. Pada kesimpulannya, medium korosif berupa larutan NaCl mempunyai tingkat korosifitas lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan larutan Na2CO3 dan cakram tanpa merek mempunyai nilai laju korosi lebih tinggi dibandingkan cakram ex-Jepang.
