Abstract

This research intended to understand the effect of service excellence training for administrative staffs of BAAK Politeknik X to service excellence skill. The number of participants who attented training were 8 administrative staffs. The results showed that service excellence training have a significant effect to service excellence skill. There was a difference between service excellence skill before and after service excellence training for administrative staffs of BAAK Politeknik X.  This conclusion based on the z value = - 2,598 (p=0,009 ; p<0,05 ). Service excellence skill after service excellence training was higher than service excellence skill before service excellence training.

Abstract

Abstract : This research intended to analyze job satisfaction of administration staffs on Politeknik Negeri Semarang. The data was collected by having job satisfaction scale from 67 respondents. The respondents were administration staffs on Politeknik Negeri Semarang. The job satisfaction scale adapted from the aspects of job satisfaction theory from Smith, Kendall,and Hullin. The data also collected by having interview with administration staffs and subordinate, also having observation of daily job condition. The sampling method of this research was cluster sampling. Statistic method which used to analyze the job satisfaction was parametric statistic technique. The results showed that level of  job satisfaction was ‘Enough’(59,7%). All aspect have balanced contribution to job satisfaction, included promotion chance, salary, partner, subordinate, and work characteristic. The enhancement process in one aspect will increase job satisfaction. On the other side, there were two aspects on lower rank in the job satisfaction analysis, included subordinate and promotion chance. Abstract

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana motivasi belajar, dan bagaimana disiplin belajar siswa serta apakah ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan disiplin belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi motivasi belajar dan mendeskripsikan disiplin belajar siswa, serta menjelaskan hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan disiplin belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa yang berjumlah 59 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket motivasi dan disiplin belajar siswa. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial, Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan teknik korelasi product moment pada taraf signifikan 95%. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa 34% siswa memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, 58% siswa memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, dan 8%  siswa memiliki motivasi belajar sangat rendah. Sedangkan disiplin belajar siswa menunjukan 4% siswa mempunyai disiplin belajar sangat tinggi, 52% siswa mempunyai disiplin belajar tinggi, dan 44% siswa mempunyai disiplin belajar rendah. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan disiplin belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe Customer-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior (CO-OCB) on the employees of the railway transportation service provider in Jakarta, Indonesia. A survey research was conducted by distributing the questionnaires to the employees and conducting a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The sampling was taken by using a convenience sampling technique. The participants were 161 employees from different job levels. Consisting of managers, supervisors, and staff. Data analysis, the researchers used descriptive statistics analysis and inferential analysis with the Kruskal Wallis test by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software for Windows 21.0 and theme analysis. The results show that generally, the respondents have high COOCB. Then, the result of the inferential analysis shows that there are significant differences among CO-OCB. The dominant dimension shown by the employees is organizational compliance, followed by other dimensions such as sportsmanship, helping behavior, self-development, civic virtue, individual initiative, and organizational loyalty. The results also suggest that CO-OCB on the employees is influenced by individual characteristic factors like working attitude, and contextual factors.

Abstract

Abstract— The study aims to identify the supply chain management and its impact on customer service, as well as indicating the role of supply chain management in improving sales and identifying the views of managers working in the corporate about supply chain management. Relying on the mindfulness framework, we argue that dispositional mindfulness has an impact on workplace outcomes, include service climate. Supply chain strategy tested as mediators of this relationship. This study was an explanatory survey among supervisors of the railway transportation service provider in Jakarta, Indonesia. The quota sampling technique was performed. The participants in this study were 357 supervisors. They filled the self-report questionnaires. The data analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling with Lisrel 8.7 software. Results indicated that those with greater mindfulness report more positive service climate’ perception, and greater supply chain strategy. As expected, the relationship between mindfulness and service climate was mediated by supply chain strategy. The theoretical implication of this study was the empirical evidence regarding the mechanism that mediates the impact of mindfulness on workplace outcomes, with supply chain strategy as a potential mediating role. Results support the usefulness of further examination of the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace context.

Abstract

Being a nurse is a stressful profession due to the daily heavy and demanding work. Mindfulness can be effective to teach nursing personnel how to cope with such stress. The intervention “Don’t Worry, Be Mindful” was developed by the researchers for the Indonesian situation based on the concept of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). We explored its effect in an exploratory pre-post design with 15 experienced members from the nursing personnel at the Emergency Department of a peripheral hospital in Pandeglang, Banten, Indonesia. The results showed that after the “Don’t Worry, Be Mindful” intervention the participant’s stress level was significantly reduced. Each of the nurses showed less stress at the post-test than at the pretest. This outcome indicated that mindfulness-based intervention is a promising tool to reduce stress in nursing personnel in a peripheral hospital in the less developed part of South-East country like Indonesia.Profesi perawat merupakan profesi yang penuh tekanan karena tuntutan pekerjaan sehari-hari yang berat. Mindfulness terbukti efektif untuk membantu perawat dalam mengatasi stres kerja. Intervensi “Don’t Worry, Be Mindful” dikembangkan oleh peneliti untuk konteks Indonesia berdasarkan konsep Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Peneliti melakukan eksplorasi terhadap efek intervensi mindfulness terhadap stres kerja perawat dengan menggunakan desain pre-post test dengan partisipan 15 orang perawat pada Unit Gawat Darurat (UGD) rumah sakit di Pandeglang, Banten, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemberian intervensi "Don’t Worry, Be Mindful" diketahui bahwa tingkat stres partisipan berkurang secara signifikan. Setiap perawat menunjukkan tingkat stres yang menurun pada saat post-test, apabila dibandingkan dengan tingkat stres perawat saat pretest. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis mindfulness merupakan salah satu teknik yang efektif untuk mengurangi stres pada perawat di rumah sakit di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the learning motivation of class VII students of SMP al-Fahmi, Palu city in social studies subjects. The research method used in this research is this research study using qualitative research and case study research. This study will reveal how students' learning motivation is low, high in the 2022-2023 school year. Sources of data are through survey studies on student learning motivation data when participating in the learning process, both student data for class VII SMP Al-Fahmi and teacher data through interviews on social studies (Social Sciences) subjects and through observations. The use of the instrument in this study uses interview and observation guidelines to obtain in-depth data on the implementation of this research. The data collection technique is through data triangulation and the researcher uses qualitative data analysis which is accessed through the sources proposed by Miles and Huberman and Sugiyono, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found data that the intrinsic aspect is motivation or encouragement that arises from within students to achieve mastery of learning outcomes in class on social studies subjects

Abstract

Education is one of the keys to nation development. Education must be carried out as fully as possible to achieve the expected goals. Formulation of the problem in the research. What is the description of visual media in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Bunta? Negeri 1 Bunta. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of visual media and interest in learning on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Bunta. This research method uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive research type. The types of data and data sources used in the research are primary and secondary data . Primary sources are data sources that directly provide data to data collectors, and secondary sources are sources that do not directly provide data to data collectors, for example through other people or through documents. Furthermore, when viewed in terms of data collection methods or techniques, data collection techniques can be carried out by observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the research are that there is a significant influence between visual media and students' learning interest simultaneously on student learning outcomes.
