Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the context, input, process, and product of Guidance and Counseling Teachers Deliberation Program (MGBK) at SMP / MTs Salatiga year of 2012-2015. This study was evaluation research using CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, study of documentation and FGD (focus group discussion). The validity test used data triangulation. The results of this study showed that 1) the context evaluation of the objective set by MGBK program was in the unfavorable category, while the analysis of the needs was in the sufficient category; 2) the input  evaluation indicated that the human resources namely committee and speakers of MGBK was in the very good category, while the MGBK members was in the good category. Furthermore, sources of funding and supporting infrastructure of MGBK program implementation was in the good categoriy; 3) the process evaluation was in the sufficient category although not all the programmed activities can be implemented; 4) the  product of the implementation of the MGBK program was in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Type of this research is experiment research which has a purpose to know the diffrence of phisics study achievement among students taught with levels of inquiry learning cycle method and students taught with direct teaching method. The participants were 46 students from XI SMK official school, Landak District, West Kalimantan. The data were taken by using t test and the result shows there is significant difference between students taught with levels of inquiry learning cycle method and students taught with direct teaching method. The students score average of inquiry learning cycle method is better than the students score of direct teaching method.

Abstract

This study is an experimental research with using pretest and posttest control group design. The aimed of the study were: 1). To know the differences significant of teacher’s mastery of pedagogical competences between teachers clinical supervised in SMA Kristen YPKPM Ammbon and non-supervised teachers in SMA Kartika XIII-I Ambon, 2). To determine how the the clinical supervision influenced the teachers’ mastery of pedagogical competences. The data was collected by using observation toward teaching profile competence from Wasserman and Egert. Data analyzed using t test comparative and linear regression analysis. The result of the study was the coefficient t test was 4,184 with significant 0,001 < 0,05. It proved that there was a difference between supervision and non-supervision teachers significantly. The clinical supervision has influence about 41,9% on teachers pedagogical competences.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to find out the significance of differences in the implementation of the Education Management Standards in Semarang Regency Accredited Senior High School, and (2) to know the implementation of components in the Education Management Standards at Senior High School (SHS) accredited A and B in Semarang Regency which is still in the Very Low category.  The type of this research is descriptive comparative with quantitative approach. The sample in this study consists of 6 Accredited A and 3 Accredited B SHSs. Data or information obtained from the Principals, Vice Principals and Teachers. There are 30 respondents from 6 Accredited A and 15 people from 3 Accredited B Senior High Schools. This study used a Monitoring and Evaluation of Education Management Standards questionnaire developed by BSNP 2012. The results showed that the average in Accredited A are higher from Accredited B SHSs. While from the comparative test results obtained: there is no significant difference in the implementation of education management standards between Accredited A and Accredited B Senior High Schools in Semarang Regency. The result of the categorization statistics is the result that there is no component whose implementation in the Very Low category in both Accredited A and Accredited B Senior High School. However, there are components whose implementation is still in the Moderate category of the Component Management Information System.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik bibliocounseling untuk meningkatkan sikap forgiveness siswa SMA Swasta Kota Atambua. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) layanan bimbingan kelompok sudah dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Kota Atambua, namun masih terdapat kekeliruan dalam konsep dan praktik bimbingan kelompok. (2) Tingkat sikap forgiveness siswa SMA Swasta Kota Atambua sebesar 55% (kategori kurang). (3) Dihasilkan model bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik bibliocounseling untuk meningkatkan sikap forgiveness siswa SMA Swasta Kota Atambua, yakni, Rasional; Visi dan Misi; Tujuan; Isi Materi; Dukungan Sistem; Perencanaan; Tahapan pelaksanaan; Evaluasi dan Tindak Lanjut. (4) Model yang dihasilkan efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap forgiveness siswa.The objectives of this research were to produce a model of guidance group by using bibliocounseling techniques to improve forgiveness attitude of  Private Senior High School in Atambua city. The method used in this research was research and development. The results showed that, (1) The service of group guidance has been implemented in Private Senior High School in Atambua city, but it was still met an error in the concept and practice of of group guidance. (2) The level of forgiveness attitude of Private Senior High School in Atambua city was 55% (poor category). (3) It was resulted group guidance model by using bibliocounseling technique to improve students' forgiveness attitude of Private Senior High School in Atambua city, that was, Rational; Vision and mission; Objective; Content Material; Support Systems; Planning; Stages of implementation; Evaluation and Follow-up. (4) The model was effective for improving students' forgiveness attitude.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui signifikansi penurunan perilaku pelaku perundungan verbal pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Kristen 2 Salatiga melalui teknik role play dalam konseling kelompok behavioral. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experimental dengan menggunakan model pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 orang siswa menjadi subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala perilaku pelaku perundungan verbal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji beda dua mean (t test). Hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa layanan role play dalam konseling kelompok behavioral secara signifikan menurunkan perilaku pelaku perundungan verbal siswa.   The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of decreasing behavior of verbal abuse perpetrators in grade VIII students at Christian Middle School 2 Salatiga through role play techniques in behavioral group counseling. This type of research is a quasi experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design model. The subjects of this study were 10 students who became the research subjects. Data collection techniques use the scale of verbal abuse perpetrators. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and two mean test differences (t test). The results of the study prove that role play services in behavioral group counseling significantly reduce the behavior of students of verbal abuse.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui signifikansi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pemberian Bimbingan Kelompok motivasi belajar kepada siswa SMP Pangudi Luhur Tuntang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan model one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 14 orang siswa menjadi sumber penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Kuesioner motivasi belajar. Teknik analisis data mengggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji beda dua mean(t test). Hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa bimbingan kelompok motivasi belajar secara signifikan meningkat motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Math anxiety is one of the causes of the low achievement of students in mathematics lessons. Guidance and counselling teachers need strategies for students who experience math anxiety. This study aims to determine an effective counselling approach to reduce students' math anxiety. This type of research is a single subject experiment with multiple baseline designs. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research subjects were 2 individuals. The data analysis technique consisted of data analysis using Mann Whitney and qualitative time triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, cognitive behaviour therapy and music counselling can reduce students' math anxiety. Several techniques in cognitive behaviour therapy affect many aspects such as feelings, thoughts, physical sensations, and actions. In music counselling, the lyrics and lyrics of the songs shift the focus of the individual who was originally fixated on the fear of facing math problems to become calmer during math lessons

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between cigarette addiction, simultaneous smartphone addiction and self-control. The subjects who became respondents were students who live in the male dormitory of Satya Wacana Christian University, totalling 109 students as the population. The sampling technique chosen was purposive sampling with the criteria of students who were active smokers and were involved in using smartphones. The research method used is correlational quantitative. The sample consisted of 33 students. The analysis technique used is the multiple correlation formula. Based on the results of various correlation analyzes, the R-value is -0.350 in the opposite direction. For comparison, the Fcount value is found to be 2.128 and the F table with a significant 5% of 4,130. In other words, Fcount Ftable, which means there is no significant relationship. The results of this study found that there was no significant relationship between cigarette addiction, simultaneous smartphone addiction and self-control.

Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk: mengetahui signifikansi hubungan gaya kognitif dan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar fisika pada siswa SMA Kristen Barana yang melibatkan 135 orang siswa jurusan IPA. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini mengunakan instrument The Embedded Figure Test untuk mengukur variabel gaya kognitif dan Bar on Inventory untuk mengungkap kecerdasan emosional sedang analisis datanya menggunakan uji korelasional Rank Spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara gaya kognitif dengan prestasi belajar fisika r = 0,257 dengan p = 0,003<0,05 dan tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar fisika peserta didik IPA di SMA Kristen Barana dengan koefisien r xy xy = 0,053 dengan p = 0,541>0,05.
