Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of organizational climate and work ability towards organizational commitment and its impact on the employee performance. Endogenous variable in this research is the performance of employees, while, the exogenous variables are the organizational climate and work ability. This research proposes organizational commitment to be the intervening variable. This research using a 55 samples who are taken from the employees of Perindagkop and SMEs in Pontianak City. The type of research was a descriptive survey research with questionnaire as the  main data collecting media. Method of sampling in this research is census method where the entire population being sampled. Data were analyzed using path analysis (Path Analysis) facilitated by SPSS for Windows 22.0. The results showed that the organizational climate and the ability to work in a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and the performance of employees. In contrast, the variable organizational commitment has no significant effect to employee performance. It means that organizational commitment to the organization of the Perindagkop and SMEs Pontianak City has no effect on employee performance improvement.

Abstract

This research is aimed at asessing Total Quality Management (TQM) application in higher education, especially at the faculty of economics, UNTAN resulting from competitive grant programme such as TPSDP, DUE-like and SP-4. Some aspects of TQM including leadership, organizational commitment dan human resource management employing 28 indicators are descriptively analysed. The results of study show that essentially the faculty of economics, UNTAN has put the TQM concepts in practice by conducting self-evaluation which is used as reference to making a programme of quality improvement in accordance with the RAISE++ principles. On average, using 11 indicators the score of leadership from the faculty staff members point of view is moderate with score of 3,55. Organizational commitment is regarded good with score of 4,36, whereas human resource management has the score of 3,55 and is regarded moderate. Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the border region and to design a model of institutional synergy in the entrepreneurship development of MSMEs in the border region with the approach of one village one product. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach with the case study research type. For analysis purposes, data can be collected using triangulation data collection methods involving observation, interview and documentation as well as Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Based on the model developed in the MSMEs entrepreneurship development in border areas, there are 3(three) institutions that play a role and can synergize with each other, namely business development institutions; village incubator of superior village products and village-owned enterprises.

Abstract

This paper is to describe what has been done by the Faculty of Economics UNTAN in growing interest and entrepreneurship skills among students through student activities and currentevaluation tried to offer a development design of student activities with the approach ofpsychological capital that includes (1) the existence of self-confidence (self confidence); (2)positive attribution (optimism); (3) resistance in achieving its objectives with the ability toredefine the path to reach the goal with the ability to redefine the path to peak at the destination ifrequired (hope); and (4) when facing problems and difficulties, able to survive and continueforward (resiliency) to achieve success. The approach taken in this study is qualitative, type ofresearch is a case study. For purposes of analysis, data can be collected using triangulation ofdata collection methods which involves observation, interview documentation and Focus GroupDiscussion (FGD). It can be concluded that the hardest thing in the printing of an entrepreneur isthe mental change that is formed because of the mindset that the synergy of a wide range of ourdaily interactions (family, education, environment, etc.). It is an attempt to solve the mentalproblem needs to be a synergy of various growth entrepreneurship program that has a good andconcrete step in creating the entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Keberadaan dan kelangsungan kegiatan sektor informal dalam sistem ekonomi berperan cukup penting dalam pengembangan masyarakat dan pembangunan nasional sebagai dampak ketidakmampuan pembangunan menyediakan lapangan kerja. Pekerja informal di perkotaan pada umumnya berada di sektor perdagangan dan konstruksi.  Dengan cepatnya perubahan teknologi dalam melayani kebutuhan perekonomian, maka kebutuhan pekerja juga bergeser ke sektor yang padat modal atau berteknologi tinggi. Sektor perdagangan, pariwisata, transportasi dan keuangan adalah empat sektor perekonomian yang saat ini secara cepat telah mengubah peta kebutuhan tenaga kerjanya menjadi semakin bersifat digital terlebih dengan kondisi pandemi covid – 19, dimana semua  aktivitas  dituntut  dilakukan  dari  rumah  dengan  menggunakan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Tentunya, menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi bagi pelaku usaha di sektor informal untuk bisa beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang diakibatkan pandemi covid–19 ini. Salah satu yang bisa ditawarkan dalam mengelola perubahan ini adalah menerapkan konsep organizational learning bagi sektor informal. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan berbagai dukungan yang diperlukan sektor informal dalam melakukan penyesuaian usaha sebagai dampak pandemi covid – 19 dan selanjutnya disusun berbagai langkah transformasi sebagai model dalam mempertahankan keberlangsungan usaha sektor informal di masa pandemi covid – 19 dengan mengadopsi penerapan organizational learning.

Abstract

Kecamatan Sajingan Besar merupakan salah satu dari 2 (dua) kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Sambas yang berbatasan langsung dengan Negara Malaysia. Sebagai kecamatan yang berbatasan langsung dengan Negara Malaysia, Kecamatan Sajingan Besar memiliki berbagai potensi ekonomi diantaranya pertanian dan perkebunan serta pariwisata. Berbagai potensi ekonomi ini jika dikelola secara lebih optimal akan dapat  meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat wilayah perbatasan itu sendiri dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Oleh karena itu penumbuhan minat kewirausahaan bagi generasi muda dalam memanfaatkan potensi ekonomi wilayah perbatasan di Kecamatan Sajingan Besar menjadi hal yang sangat diperlukan, apalagi jika dikaitkan dengan bonus demografi yang diperkirakan akan dinikmati oleh Kabupaten Sambas antara Tahun 2020 – 2035. Penumbuhan minat kewirausahaan bagi generasi muda di Kabupaten Sambas dilakukan pada saat pelakasanaan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik Revolusi Mental kerjasama antara Kemenko PMK R.I dan Universitas Tanjungpura dengan mengangkat Program Indonesia Mandiri dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan selama 1 (satu) bulan program. Adapun sasaran program penumbuhan minat kewirausahaan generasi muda adalah : 1) Mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi yang ada di Kabupaten Sambas; 2) pemuda yang tidak lanjut sekolah/kuliah dan 3) anak dari para pengusaha UMKM yang ada di Kabupaten Sambas. Sedangkan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam penumbuhan minat kewirausahaan menggunakan pendekatan Psychological Capital dengan muatan materi terkait ; 1) self confidence ; 2) optimism; 3) hope; dan 4 resiliency). Selanjutnya peserta yang memiliki motivasi tinggi mendapat pembinaan melalui inkubator bisnis teknologi Universitas Tanjungpura dengan model outwall tenant. Kegiatan ini pada akhirnya menginisiasi terbentuknya inkubator bisnis wilayah perbatasan di Kecamatan Sajingan Besar.Kata kunci: Minat Kewirausahaan, Generasi Muda, Wilayah Perbatasan

Abstract

Law enforcement requires firm assertiveness and public awareness. Law enforcement will guarantee the life of a safe nation and state. Communities need high legal awareness so that they have high legal behavior. The province of West Kalimantan is one of the provinces that experiences land and forest fires every year. Factors of land and forest fires include natural and human factors. Natural factors, especially the dry season is a difficult factor to control, so one of the preventive steps is to control human factors. Control of human factors through increasing the care of law and the environment so that humans do not violate the law, especially the burning of land and forests. The Community Care Law Partnership Program (PKM) is one way to improve legal and environmental care behavior. The method for implementing PKM activities was through socialization and counseling, demonstrations and training, and assistance to partners, namely the people of Rasau Jaya III village, including farmers, PKK women and youth groups. The results of the activity showed that the Rasau Jaya III village officials and the community were enthusiastic in following this activity. The activity was carried out on the sidelines of the busy work of the people of Rasau Jaya III village. Activities are carried out with a persuasive approach so that interaction with the community becomes comfortable. This is done so that the transfer of knowledge and skills goes well. Based on the results of the questionnaire before and after the activity showed that the law and environment care behavior of the community of Rasau Jaya III increased. This condition is very important to create law enforcement and environmental care for a comfortable human life.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the profile of villages in West Kalimantan Province and then design a synergistic model in the growth of solopreneurs in supporting the smart village 4.0 program in West Kalimantan Province. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The type of this research is a case study (case study). The collection of data and information needed for the purposes of analysis is carried out by means of: 1) documentation studies; 2) field observations; 3) interview technique and 4) focus group discussion (FGD). The development of sociopreneurship, especially among the younger generation, is very important considering that Indonesia, including in West Kalimantan Province, has a population with a very high productive age. This population of productive age will certainly have a very good potential if it can be managed and directed to support development programs in West Kalimantan Province, especially the 2031 village development program into smart villages (Desa 4.0) which is the flagship program of the West Kalimantan Provincial Government. The young generation of West Kalimantan, especially students at Tanjungpura University, who are increasingly aware of technology and innovation will spur the progress of renewable resources based industries that are widely available in villages. By utilizing relevant technology, it will spur the emergence of creativity and innovation so that it can become a competitive advantage. Therefore, it would be better to combine sociopreneurship with digital start-ups into one form of subject with the student creativity program (PKM) and the Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) as outputs in the lecture.

Abstract

Limbah bisa diolah menjadi sesuatu yang berguna dan memiliki nilai, salah satunya dengan mengubahnya menjadi media pembelajaran. Workshop ini bertujuan membangun kreativitas guru sekolah dasar dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan limbah menjadi media pembelajaran yang menarik dan berguna dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran tidak selalu berkaitan dengan sesuatu yang mahal dan modern, namun dapat dikembangkan secara sederhana dari limbah-limbah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. Sasaran utama dari workshop ini yaitu guru sekolah dasar di SDN 21 Pontianak Utara. Pelaksanaan workshop ini melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perancangan media pembelajaran, persiapan alat dan bahan, sosialisasi, dan workshop. Setelah penyampaian materi dari narasumber dan pemberian contoh media, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab kemudian pembuatan media pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan ini, guru tampak antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti tahapan pembuatan media pembelajaran yang dipandu oleh tim pelaksana. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan antara lain puzzle hewan, pohon ciri makhluk hidup, bangun datar, flashcard abjad, dan angka serta gambar.

Abstract

The commodity of crude palm oil (CPO) from time to time has more profitable business prospects. Indonesia and Malaysia are the largest CPO producing countries in the world. The availability of large enough land is one of the factors that makes Indonesia a major producer of CPO for the world community. However, the productivity of oil palm plantations in Indonesia is still low compared to Malaysia. This then becomes the rationale that improving the performance of oil palm plantation companies is not only related to the availability of land, technology or capital. However, another important thing that needs to be done is how oil palm plantation companies manage organizational culture and organizational learning activities. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational learning on the performance of employees of PTPN XIII (Persero) which is a coconut plantation company. The sample in this study were employees of class III - IV PTPN XIII (Persero) who served in West Kalimantan. The data analysis model uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance with a positive relationship direction, while organizational learning has no significant effect on employee performance with a positive relationship direction. This means that organizational learning has very little effect on employee performance.
