Abstract

Agroforestry has been known to have a very important role in helping to reduce poverty in rural areas. Firewood, fruits, nuts, medicinal plants, raw materials for crafts such as rattan and bamboo, and various other agroforestry products are collected by small farmers and sold in traditional markets. The income derived from these agroforestry products is usually used as a safety net for poor farming families, agroforestry is generally practiced on a relatively limited plot of land (on average less than one hectare) due to the widely supported community land ownership. The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing channel of agroforestry products and analyze the marketing margins and marketing efficiency results of agroforestry products in the village of Tibo Tombusabora, Sindue District, Donggala Regency. The location of this research was carried out in the village of Tibo Tombusabora, Donggala Regency. The sample used in this study was purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of research conducted obtained analysis of the total marketing margins of cocoa, rambutan and chili in the village of Tibo are the same, both between the first channel and the second channel are cocoa Rp3.61%, rambutan Rp6.97% and chili Rp. 3.22 % with the existing efficiency level for each channel, where the first level efficiency channel is Cocoa 5.08%, Rambutan 8.14% and Chili 4.19% and the second level efficiency channel namely Cocoa 7.60%, Rambutan 1.21 % and 6.28% Chili.Keywords: Marketing Management, Agroforestry, Tibo Village.

Abstract

AbstractThe furniture industry is one of the most highly valued timber industries in the world and absorbing labor, and then making significant contibutions to the economy of  Indonesia. Eboni is a type of wood found in tropical areas such as Central Sulawesi. Eboni wood is usually used as a furniture, sculpture, decorative wall and plywood. Eboni wood in the market of Central Sulawesi is dominated in the form of furniture or souvemir. Eboni furniture or souvenir market has been exist mainly in Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi. Unfortunately, the market demand has been decline over the last years. In this research, the method used  was SWOT analysis to identify the perceived strengths and weaknesses and also opportunities and threats faced by the company. The result of research is indicate that Sumber Urip Eboni are quadrant 1 with the values of X-axis (1,62) and Y-axis (0,40), which means that companies can used the benefit from their strength and opportunity. The strategy to be applied in these conditions is to support aggressive growth polices.Keywords: Eboni, Furniture or Souvenir, and Marketing

Abstract

A village forest is a state forest not saddled with permission or rights, managed by the village and used for the welfare of the village. The village forest of Mire is located in Ulubongka District area , Tojo Una-una Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The road facilities are connecting to Mire Village with other villages in Ulubongka District especially hill area has not been adequate with a means of transportation that has not been fully supported, as of access to local communities with other areas is limited both in the process of mobilizing the population and other access. These conditions are what influence society in both cultural social aspects and the economic development of production at village levels. The research was carried out in November through December 2019 using qualitative descretive methods. Data retrieval was done through surveys and interviews that included a list of questions. The research involved a personage especially the head of the family in Mire Village, Ulubangko District, Tojo Una-una Regency, Central Sulawesi. The result of the interview, have a lot of factors that bring out public initiative for utilization Mire Village Forest is Aleurites moluccana because it is not complicated for cultivation and we know for ourselves that the plant it a fast growing, the price was high. Their ecotourism development plans are tracking pathways to Mount Katopasa. But, on the other hand, the plan to manage the Mire Village Forest in the village doesn't compensated with enough knowledge of village forests and village management plan.Keywords: Forest Village, Utilization, Public Initiative

Abstract

Population Data in the village of Mire Ulubongka district as much as 1000 inhabitants. In the sampling taken where the number of families head is 275 head of the family is in the village of Mire.in Sampling research stating that if the sample is less than 100 then the sample should be taken in it’s entinety and if otherwise the sample is more than 100 then the sample is taken only 15%, 20%, or more. Based on the explanation above, Sample were taken by 42 head of the family (15%). The level understanding of the community in Mire Village towards forest management overall is high and some people in Mire village have not understood about the sustainable management of village forest, this is due to various factors, among others from the limited level of education, the lack of socialization and training on the management plan of Mire village forest, lack of knowledge on it’s principles, and community perceptions or responses are dominated by their hopes of increasing economic income through the management Mire Village Forests.Keywords: People Perception, Village Forest

Abstract

Community forest is basically a state forest, managed by the society trough a rural administrative organization, and used for the welfare the villager. Village forest management can be seen from the distribution arrangements of manage land to any farmer. Village ordinances are regulated that each village of farmers are only allowed to manage the maximum forest land of 0.5 hectares for farmers based on historical background who managed more than 0.5 hectares before being designated as community forest. The forest of Kajulangko is located in the village of villages  covering the sub-district of Tojo Una-Una. Where the population of the Kajulangko village was 1129, the number of family heads at the time of the formation of the Kajulangko village was 278 family heads. The village area of Kajulangko is approximately 12 square kilometers. To understand the attitude of society can be analyzed using descriptive methods he or she USES a scale of 1-2-3-4-5. Studies have shown that people’s attitude toward community forest is good for the society being high (119), good community forest for the village government is likely to be moderate (62), village forest is important for the moderateeconomic welfare (57) and village forests are essential for forest sustainability to be very high (135).Keywords: Community forest, management, community attitude

Abstract

The pattern of utilization of forest products in rural areas has two social dimensions that influence the existence of forest areas. The First Dimension is that most rural people who consume forest products come from forest areas. The second social dimension is the existence of community dynamics, especially an increase in the population in an area and an increase in income and the quality of human resources that cause changes in the use of forest products. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Community in Utilizing Forest Products and Utilizing Forest Land in Karunia Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. The usefulness of this research is to provide information to the public about how the community in utilizing forest products and utilizing forest land in Karunia village, Palolo sub-district, Sigi district. This research was conducted in Karunia Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The time of this study is 2 (two) months, namely from October to December 2018. This study uses data collection (interview). To see the level of social capital using qualitative descriptive analysis. In this study there were 39 respondents in Karunia village. The results of this study show the overall activity of the Karunia Village community in protected forest areas in Karunia Village is to harvest timber as a material for making and repairing homes and firewood, harvesting rattan, bamboo, candlenut, honey bees and other forest products. Abstract

Understanding Tourism, basically the scope of tourism consists of 3 elements, namely: human as a human element of tourism activities, place as a physical element that is actually covered by the activity itself and time as an element of time spent on the trip itself and while staying at the destination tour. The Tourism Sector is broadly a recreational activity outside the domicile of breaking away from routine work or seeking another atmosphere. Tourism has become an important part of the basic needs of developed countries and a small part of developing country society. Tourism is increasingly developing in line with social, cultural, economic, technological and political changes As a human activity, tourism is a very complex phenomenon of the movement of people, goods, and services. Tourism is closely related to organizations, institutional and individual relationships, service needs, and so on. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that influence the intensity of visits and calculate the economic value of Nupabomba Waterfall Nature Tourism Objects based on the method of travel costs. The location of this research was carried out in the Natural Tourism Object of Nupabomba Waterfall in Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency. The sample used in this study was purposive sampling using the analysis of the Travel cost method. Based on the results of the research conducted the magnitude of the economic value of the Tumanggu Indah Waterfall Tourism Object using the trip cost method was 189,632 / visit with Visit Intensity 3 times.Keywords: Economic Value, Waterfall Nature Tourism, Nupabomba Village.

Abstract

Optimizing farmers' income can be done by optimizing land use, namely the agroforestry system, the problem is that the community has not applied the agroforestry system to their land on the grounds that plants growing understands will not produce maximum production. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out training activities for planting an agroforestry system for candlenut plants and tubers. Local tubers and candlenuts. The method used is firstly observing the location of the land that will be used as a training ground, secondly carrying out training activities on agroforestry systems by paying attention to the fertilizers used, the model beds. Which is made. The results of the training show that people who initially only planted tubers on open land would plant them under the candlenut plant. Enthusiastic in participating in the activity and there is also an increased understanding of the agroforestry system, this agroforestry training activity is important to optimize land use and increase farmers' income.

Abstract

The potential for community forest management with forests has been going on for a long time, because land management with forestry plants provides benefits for people's lives. The limited knowledge and education of the Sibedi villagers caused some villagers to encroach on the forest. This study aims to determine the potential of community forests, community interaction in managing forest resources in Sibedi Village, Marawola District, Sigi Regency. This study uses a survey method to identify communities that  community forests management. The data analyzed are descriptive and qualitative. The results show is potential for and community interaction with forest resources in Sibedi Village. The level of dependence on community forests in Sibedi Village, some people understand the importance of the existence of forest resources. The community understands that the existence of forest resources can open up opportunities for them to be managed in order to meet their family's needs and the economy as a result of managing forest resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai tambah dari segi lingkungan dan ekonomi, hasil penelitian dapat diambil kebijakan yang tepat untuk melestarikan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitar daerah penyangga Taman Nasional Lore Lindu. Hasil penelitian ini menyajikan nilai biodiversitas sebagai nilai kompensasi yang akan didapat dari penurunan eksploitasi lahan atau penggarapan lahan menjadi lahan pertanian pohon kemiri, dengan tidak melakukan pengelolaan secara berkelanjutan pada hutan kemiri tersebut, maka nilai biodiversitas akan meningkat. Hal ini tentu akan mengembalikan fungsi utama kedua desa tersebut sebagai daerah penyangga kawasan Taman Nasional dari gangguan-gangguan luar serta sebagai penyangga kehidupan bagi manusia maupun hutan itu sendiri. Pendapatan rata-rata petani kemiri Desa Sigimpu dan Desa Bakubakulu dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu berada pada kisaran angka >Rp.1.500.000 sampai dengan Rp. 2.500.000/Bulan. Sedangkan Nilai rataan WTA/nilai kompensasi yang diinginkan responden, pada Desa Sigimpu yaitu Rp.4.450.000/Ha/Bulan dan Rp.5.293.717/Ha/Bulan untuk Desa Bakubakulu. Nilai tambah ekonomi yang mampu diidentifikasi yang cukup tinggi yaitu sebesar ±Rp.11.280.000/bulan. nilai tambah dari segi lainnya berupa, meningkatnya nilai biodiversitas hutan, berkurangnya kerusakan lingkungan seperti hilangnya habitat  flora maupun fauna, menurunnya angka penebangan liar, dan secara tidak langsung kita akan memperoleh nilai tambah pada keseluruhan nilai ekonomi total.
