Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the treatment soaking seed mustard greens with PGPR and dosage of organic fertilizer against growth and crop mustard greens.The research was carried out in pots at the Subak Gangsang, the village of  Marga Dajan Puri, Sub-district, Tabanan Regency, which lasted for 35 days calculated from the time of planting 15 August up to harvest 20 September 2016.The research of using random Random Draft Basic Design Group (RAK) factorial with three replicates. It's entirely contained 36 pot experiment.The results of the analysis of the statistics show that of the 12 treatment interaction between treatment soaking seed mustard greens with PGPR and dosage of organic fertilizer against growth and crop mustard greens (WxD) give different very real influence (P < 0.01) for most of the observed parameters, except against the parameters of plant root length-1 giving different influences isn't real (P 0.05 >). The duration of time of soaking of seed mustard greens with PGPR (W) gave significant effect (P <0,05) to very real (P <0,01) to most observed parameters, except for maximum plant height parameters, dry weight of root oven -1, dry weight of oven-economical plant-1, and economical wet weight of acre -1 which gives no significant effect (P> 0.05). The treatment of organic fertilizer dosage (D) gave no significant effect (P <0.05) on most parameters observed, except for the wet-root weight parameter of plant-1 which gave a very real effect (P <0.01)

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh lama perendaman benih tanaman kacang tanah dengan bakteri Bacillus spp terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L) dilakuakan di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian Universitas mahasaraswati Denpasar dan di Jln. Jimbaran, Perum Puri Gading, Gang Persada No 6, Kuta Selatan Badung Bali, dari bulan Mei - Agustus 2017. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan perendaman dan lama perendaman benih kacang tanah dengan bakter Bacillus spp terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan Bakteri Bacillus spp, dangan menggunakan media NB dengan waktu perendaman selama 15, 30, 45 dan 60 menit + control. Data yang diperoleh di Sidik Ragam dengan uji F pada taraf nyata 5%. Jika F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel 5%, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan?s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah tanaman, berat basah akar, berat basah batang, panjang akar, berat kering tanaman, berat kering akar dan berat kering batang. Hasil percobaan menunjukan bahwa lama waktu 15 menit perendaman benih kacang tanah dengan bakteri Bacillus spp terhadap sebagian besar parameter pengamatan berpengaruh nyata  terhadap terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Tanaman kacang tanah merupankan tanaman penghasil biji pada perlakuan pengaruh lama waktu 15 menit perendaman dengan bakteri Bacillus spp (P1) paling dominan memberikan hasil pengaruh nyata dengan jumlah biji 42,4 dibandingkan dengan kontrol (P0) yang jumlah bijinya sekitar 35,2 biji dan perlakuan lainnya.

Abstract

Mengani Village, Kintamani Subdistrict, Bangli Regency, is a partner village of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. The distance to the subdistrict capital is 17 km, and to the capital of Bangli Regency is 37 km, while the distance to the provincial capital is around 50 km. The land area of ​​Mengani village is 437 hectares, of which 25 hectares are paddy fields, and the rest are plantations and yards. The Mengani village farmers have been planting well-adapted rice on the highlands, namely the Red Pilian variety which is rice with a red grain. But there is a belief that has been believed for generations that rice cultivation does not need to be fertilized either organic fertilizer or chemical fertilizers or pesticides. As a result, production per land area is very low at around 2-3 tons per hectare. Seeing such conditions, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the productivity of “Pilian Merah” rice organically through the making of organic rice demonstration plots by applying a good cultivation system that is good soil cultivation, planting young seedlings, planting only 2 seedlings, minimal water, fertilizing with organic fertilizer local, and the use of vegetable pesticides for the control of rice pests and diseases. The method of implementing science and technology is carried out through socialization, training, assistance, demonstration of organic rice plots. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in farmers' knowledge about organic farming, from the initial 50% of farmers who did not understand to 100% understanding of organic farming, understanding of the dangers of synthetic chemical fertilizers to soil and environment from 70% of farmers who did not understand 100% understanding , understanding of the dangers of synthetic chemical pesticides to useful insects and the environment from the beginning 70% of farmers did not understand increased to100% understanding. Besides that, there was an increase in the skills of farmers in making organic fertilizers, which was originally 30% unskilled to 80% skilled, the skills of farmers in making organic pesticides originally 100% unskilled increased to 50% quite skilled. The conclusion that can be drawn from the implementation of science and technology is that the activities carried out related to the understanding and skills of farmers in supporting organic farming have succeeded in increasing farmers' understanding and skills so that sustainability in the field will run well.

Abstract

The Teges Subak group and the Subak Putungan group face problems in controlling pests and diseases in rice and secondary crops. In rice plants farmers are very disadvantaged by attacks of pests and diseases that cause rice plants to become puso (empty grains and red stems). The attack of pests and diseases causes rice production to decrease by more than 50%, which is very detrimental to farmers in Subak Teges and Subak Putungan. The main objectives of the program to implement appropriate technology to the community of these farmer groups are (1) To help farmers in integrated pest and disease control technology, (2) Providing productive rice planting techniques, (3) Providing training in the manufacture of locally based plant-based pesticides, (4)Providing techniques for making biological pesticides based on Trichoderma sp, Metharizium sp, and Glyocladium sp, (5) Providing techniques for the application of vegetable and biological pesticides to rice plants, (6) Training farmers in the technique of monitoring pests and diseases in the field. The method used is counseling, training and mentoring. The expected outcome of this community-based application of appropriate technology activities is; 80% of farmers understand and are skilled in making vegetable and biological pesticides, 90% of farmers understand and are skilled in implementing integrated pest and disease control technology and 90% of farmers understand and are skilled in monitoring pests and diseases in the field, farmers are able to produce 50 liters of vegetable pesticides themselves, farmers are able to produce50 kg of their own biological pesticides, attacks of pests and diseases have decreased by 75%.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani anggur “Widya Lestari Usada”, di desa Tangguwisia Seririt Singaraja sebagai bagian integral pembangunan pertanian, merupakan salah satu upaya pemberdayaan petani anggur untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, pendapatannya dan kesejahteraannya. Pengalaman menunjukkan, keberadaan Kelompok Tani Anggur telah memberikan sumbangan yang nyata pada berbagai program pembanguan pertanian yang di fasilitasi oleh Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan. Demi keberlanjutan kinerja Kelompok Tani, kelompok tani secara rutin mendapatkan pembinaan baik menyangkut faktor kelembagaan, administrasi, sumber daya dan teknis pertanian. Kelembagaan Kelompok tani ini telah digunakan sebagai wadah untuk membahas segala masalah yang mereka hadapi, berdiskusi dan mencari solusi yang terbaik. Melalui Program penerapan iptek yang telah dilakukan, Kelompok tani menjadi bangkit dan termotivasi dalam penggunaan beberapa pestisida nabati, memalui pembuatan beberapa pestisida nabati secara sederhana, sehingga pada saatnya dapat dipergunakan langsung oleh petani untuk pengendalian hama-hama penting yang sering menyerang perkebunan anggur. Selanjutnya kelompok tani memperoleh suatu paket teknologi budidaya tanaman anggur yang murah dan mudah diterapkan, untuk memproduksi buah anggur dengan cita rasa lebih manis dan dengan kuantitas produksi yang tinggi. Paket teknologi budidaya tersebut adalah penggunaan pupuk mineral plus dan pengendalian hayati dari hama dan penyakit dengan pemanfatan pestisida nabati. Hal ini lebih lanjut akan memberikan dampak menguntungkan pada perekonomian petani itu sendiri dan pelestarian lingkungan melalui produk buah anggur ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Waduk Palasari merupakan waduk terbesar di Pulau Bali yang berfungsi sebagai penyedia air untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup masyarakat sekitar. Kondisi waduk yang berbatasan langsung dengan Hutan Palasari, menjadikan kawasan vegetasi sekitar waduk berperan penting dalam menjaga cadangan air tanah dan mengurangi laju erosi di area bantaran waduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur vegetasi dan keragaman serta upaya konservasi di kawasan sabuk hijau Waduk Palasari. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah indeks kerapatan, indeks Shannon-Wienner, indeks Simpson serta indeks nilai penting (INP) untuk mengetahui kedudukan ekologis tanaman dalam suatu komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, tanaman yang memiliki peran dalam komunitas sabuk hijau Waduk Palasari diantaranya yaitu pisang, mahoni dan spathodea, yang ditunjukkan oleh INP tertinggi berkisar 20,83%, 20,24% dan 19,80%. Ketiga jenis tanaman ini merupakan tanaman yang adaptif dan mampu mengurangi erosi. Adapun nilai keanekaragaman tanaman pada area penelitian tergolong sedang dengan dominasi keanekaragaman spesies di tingkat pohon. Upaya pelestarian sabuk hijau secara berkelanjutan perlu dilakukan dengan memperbanyak jumlah tanaman endemik di kawasan waduk seperti pulai dan bayur, hal ini perlu diupayakan guna mempertahankan identitas kawasan.

Abstract

The research entitled “The effect of Liquid Fertilizer Treatment from Organic Waste on the Growth and Yield of (Impantiens balsamina L aims to determine the effect of giving organic liquid fertilizer to the growth and yield of I balsamina. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 9 treatment which were repeated 4 times so that there were 36 experimental pots. The treatments are control (without fertilize), chemical fertilizer, POC vegetable waste, fruit waste POC, fish waste POC, seaweed POC, bio urine POC, cow rumen POC, and a mixture of all types or organic liquid fertilizer, with a dose of 20% each. The result showed that the effect of POC treatment had a signicant effect on all growth parameter and yields of I balsamina, except for the parameter of the number of flowers per plant which was not significantldi fferent. The result showed that the mixed POC treatment gave the best effect but was not significantly different from all other treatments

Abstract

Impatien balsamina flower is one of the agricultural products of rural communities as an agribusiness product that has economic and cultural values. The purpose of this study was to determine the profit, profit sharing and marketing margin of Impatien Balsamina agribusiness, to find out the benefits of Impatien Balsamina flowers in preserving local culture in community activities. daily. The impatient model of balsamina agrbinis research was conducted in Sibang Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. This study involved 25 respondents consisting of farmers, marketers and consumers of impatien balsamina flowers. The data analysis method used in this research is the analysis of farmer share and marketing margin of impatien balsamina flower. As well as the economic benefits and its role in preserving local culture which is reflected in everyday life. The results showed that the impatien balsamina flower marketing model involved farmers, village collectors, large collectors, retailers and consumers. The highest profit of agribinis impatiens balsamina interest is obtained by agribinis actors in channel III, namely retailers with an average flower sale of Rp 11,500 per kg. The farmer's share of the research shows that the average share received by the farmer is 120% if the farmer sells it to collectors in the village. And the biggest marketing margin is obtained in marketing channel III. Impatien balsamina flowers as a means of ceremony in the local culture of the Balinese people.

Abstract

In this experiment the rhizosphere of several plants were explored to obtain Pseudomonas spp. A total of ninety soil samples were collected from rhizosphere of maize, peanuts, tomatoes, peppers, squash vines, ferns, onions, kale, and vanilla in all districts and cities of Bali Island.Bacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere soil using a culture media namely, King B agar. King B agar allows the production of fluoresceine (or pyoverdin), a yellow-green pigment that fluorescens under ultraviolet light in certain strains of Pseudomonas. Twenty-two Pseudomonas isolates that produced characteristic pigment from light green to bluish green in the media were obtained. The twenty-two isolates were KB1, KB2, KB4, KB16, KB19, KB24, KB29, KB30, KB32, KB33, KB34, KB36, KB46 KB49, KB61, KB67, KB68, KB69, KB71, KB77, KB78, and KB80. The bacterial isolates were further tested for pathogenicity using tobacco as an indicator plant. Twelve Pseudomonas isolates KB1, KB16, KB19, KB24, KB32, KB33, KB34, KB36, KB49, KB61, KB69 and KB77 were pathogenic while ten isolates KB2, KB4, KB29, KB30, KB46, KB67, KB68, KB71, KB78 and KB80 were non-phatogenic. This result will be subsequently used for evaluation of the induction of resistance in vanilla. Based on the results of the evaluation of isolates as a biological control potential with PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria), the isolates from Pseudomonas KB2, KB68 and KB 80 were shown to have the capability to increase growth of indicator plants 14% higher than controls. The study indicated that Pseudomonas were potent as biological control for Fusarium oxysporum F.SP, lycopersici that wilt disease of tomato.
