Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to find out how the community understands the importan of education in Rumberu Village and to find out the factors of children’s desire to attend education in Rumberu Village. This research was conducted in Rumberu Village, Inamosol District West Seram Regency. Primary data collection was carried out through interviews with a number of informants who were considered to be to be directly infolved. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the understanding of the Rumberu people about education was very advanced, because the community was of the view that the presence of education was very importan in increasing quality human resources in order to develop the village to be even better in the future so that the village could compete with villages in other places. Besides that there are factors that become the child’s desire to attend education itself. This is what then becomes the special attention of all parties in the area, bot the goverment, the community, and also related stakeholders to further improve what children want in attending education in Rumberu Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the process of implementing the family hope program and the impact of family hope on poor families. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study is an interview, which is used to obtain information by asking directly to informants using interview guidelines in accordance with the problem studied. Documentation researchers obtain data by collecting data sourced from written data, archives and images related to the family hope program (PKH). Kamarian Village is one of the villages that has implemented the PKH program since 2012 until now. From the results of the study, it shows that the process of implementing the family hope program (PKH) is running well, this can be seen from all activities in the implementation of the policy that are carried out well. The positive impact of the implementation of the PKH program is the improvement of health, education, and improvement of social welfare and can help reduce the burden of income expenditure as well as behavior change and independence of PKH families and other poor families.

Abstract

Civics subjects are also one of the important subjects that must be taught by teachers who have a Civic Education background, this is important because currently the younger generation has lost their sense of nationalism, in the midst of modernization and globalization of the times. Therefore, the role of not only the Principal is needed but the role of the region, one of which is regulated and managed by the region is the field of education, as in Law number 32 of 2004 concerning regional government article 14 paragraph 1 it is stated that the Implementation of Education is one of the mandatory affairs that is the authority of the Provincial Government and Regency / City government. And regulated in law number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, in article 24 paragraph 2 it is stated that the provincial government is obliged to meet the needs of teachers, both in number, academic qualifications, as well as in competence equally to ensure the continuity of secondary education and special education in accordance with their authority. The problem in this study is how the role of the Maluku provincial education office in meeting the needs of Civics subject teachers at SMA Negeri 16 Seram Barat, Manipa Islands District, West Seram Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative research method. The data collection technique that the author did consisted of two ways, namely observation and interview. The data analysis technique that the author used in this study is interactive data analysis. The results of the research obtained by the author are: The role of the education office in meeting teacher needs is by conducting recruitment of honor personnel or contract teachers and recruitment of CPNS and PPPK in accordance with the provisions of the Law.
