Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan asesmen yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Boja, mengidentifikasi hambatan dalam melaksanakan asesmen dan menganalisis hasil belajar siswa. Sumber data penelitian ini tiga guru IPA/Biologi, waka kurikulum dan sepuluh siswa kelas VII & VIII yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data tentang pemahaman asesmen dan penerapannya, kemampuan guru menyusun dan menggunakan instrumen, kesesuaian asesmen, hambatan melaksanakan asesmen, kualitas soal dan ketuntasan hasil belajar diperoleh dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi; data respon siswa dan peran sekolah terhadap asesmen dengan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru telah paham asesmen, menyusun instrumen dan menerapkan tes (pilihan ganda, menjodohkan, uraian), portofolio, dan unjuk kerja, tetapi belum sesuai kurikulum KTSP. Pelaksanaan asesmen terhambat oleh kurangnya waktu, banyak siswa dan tugas administrasi. Kualitas soal UTS dan UKK belum memenuhi syarat. Ketuntasan siswa rata-rata 60%. Respon siswa kurang baik, sistem penilaian guru tidak terbuka. Simpulan pelaksanaan asesmen di SMP Negeri 1 Boja belum memenuhi prinsip-prinsip penilaian, terkendala oleh banyaknya siswa dan kesibukan guru, hasil belajar rendah. This research was to deepen an understanding of biology learning assessment at Sekolah Menengah Negeri 1 Boja, to describe characteristics and problems faced by its biology teachers in the implementation of competency-based assessment and analyze students’ learning achievement. The prime resource persons of this research were three biology teachers, a vice school principal, and ten grade VII & VIII students selected by purposive sampling technique. Data an understating of assessment and its implementation, ability teachers’ in making and using instrument, uniformity of assessment, barriers impending assessment, quality test, and mastery learning outcomes were collected through observation, interview and documentation study; data of student responses and the role of schools in assessment were collected through interview. Data was analyzed by Miles & Huberman’s methode. The findings showed that teachers theoretically understood the nature of better assessment, making instrument, and applying test (multiple choice, matching, and essay), portfolio, and lab-work/demonstration but not yet fully implemented in accordance with the demands of school-based competency curriculum (KTSP). Iimplementation of classroom assessment impeding by time, students size, and load of teachers administration work. The quality UTS and UKK test not yet fully standart. The average of mastery learning result was 60%. Students respons were unfavorable, teachers didn’t transparant. In sum, implementation assessment at SMP Negeri 1 Boja not yet fully assessment principles, constrained students size and teachers’ activity, students’ learning achievement was low.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the pocket book based mind mapping and multiple intelligences of fungi material in SMAN 1 Slawi. Based on preliminary observations in mind that needs to be developed as a pocket book supporting student handbook, students learn fungi to overcome difficulties and can develop multiple intelligences of students. The method used Research and Development. In large-scale trials using experimental design True Experimental Design with the type of Post - Test Only Control Group Design. Subjects in this study were students of class X PMIA at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Feasibility pocket book based on the results of the validation of 80.37 % with a valid criteria and inter-rater reliability (IRRs) value is good, student responses to the legibility of the pocket books of 87.4 % with very good criteria, the response of students and teachers to use the pocket books of 92.25 % with a very good criteria and 95.65 % with a very good criteria. Classical completeness experimental class < 75 % and based on t test obtained thit = 1.41while ttab = 1.67 then thit < ttab and Ho was accepted, student learning outcomes experimental class was almost the same as the control class so pocketbooks less effective. However, the results of multiple intelligences observations indicated that the use of a pocket book is able to develop students multiple intelligences. Development of a pocket book based mind mapping and multiple intelligences of fungi material worthy and able to develop multiple intelligences but less effectively improve student learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas buku saku berbasis mind mapping dan multiple intelligences materi jamur di SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan buku saku sebagai penunjang buku pegangan siswa, mengatasi kesulitan siswa mempelajari jamur dan dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development. Pada uji coba skala besar menggunakan desain eksperimen True Experimental Design dengan jenis Post-test Only Control Group Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X PMIA di SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Kelayakan buku saku didasarkan pada hasil validasi sebesar 80,37% dengan kriteria valid dan nilai inter-rater reliability (IRR) baik, tanggapan siswa terhadap keterbacaan buku saku sebesar 87,4% dengan kriteria sangat baik, tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan buku saku sebesar 92,25% dengan kriteria sangat baik serta 95,65% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen < 75% dan berdasarkan uji t diperoleh thitung = 1,41 sedangkan ttabel = 1,67 maka thitung< ttabel dan Ho diterima, hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen hampir sama dengan kelas kontrol sehingga buku saku kurang efektif. Namun, hasil observasi kecerdasan majemuk menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku saku mampu mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Pengembangan buku saku berbasis mind mapping dan multiple intelligences materi jamur layak dan mampu mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk tetapi kurang efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan penerapan Guided Inquiry disertai Flow Card pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMP Negeri 38 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimentaldengan pola one shot case study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 38 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, tanggapan siswa dan tanggapan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa termasuk kategori aktif yaitu sebesar 82,3%. Secara klasikal ketuntasan belajar siswa termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik yakni sebesar 91,9 % serta tanggapan siswa dan guru selama proses pembelajaran termasuk kriteria sangat baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Guided Inquiry disertai Flow Cardpada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMP N 38 Semarang dapat diterapkan karena terbukti efektif. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the application of the Guided Inquiry with Flow Card in the human respiratory system materials in SMP N 38 Semarang. This research was pre-eksperimental design that uses one shot case study. The population was all students of class VIII of SMP N 38 Semarang school year 2014/2015. The sample is students of class VIII A and VIII B. The sampling technique by Purposive. The data of research were student activity, students learning outcomes, student and teacher responses. The results showed the student activities included in active criteria that are 82,3%. Students classical completeness included in very good criteria that are 91,9 % and Students and teacher responses during the learning process were excellent. Conclusion of the study that learning by using the Guided Inquiry with Flow Card model of learning material in the human respiratory system SMP N 38 Semarang can be applied because it proved effective

Abstract

Website can be made as source and learning medium because of its application in helping students to understand the unprecise material. Web educative is a learning model of distance learning system with the use of IT-based interactive and virtual.The objective of the study as the learning resource was to find out the feasibility and the effectiveness in learning process. The type of the study was Research and Development (R&D). The data of this study were detemined from the feasibility validation of web educative by validator, student’s and teacher’s responses, and the last was student’s achievement. The result of web educative feasibility which was determined from the expert could be said very suitable with the average score 91%. Student’s completeness achievement with the score ≥78 in product trial reached 100% and 93% in application trial. The score 84% showed positive student’s response about this web educative. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the developing of web educative was very suitable to be applied in learning process especially in the material of self defenses; it also proved the effectiveness of this method in student’s achievement.Website dapat dijadikan media dan sumber belajar karena menyediakan banyak aplikasi yang membantu siswa memahami konsep materi yang abstrak. Web educative merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan pemanfaatan TI yang bersifat interaktif dan berbasis virtual. Tujuan pengembangan web educative sebagai sumber belajar materi sistem pertahanan tubuh adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) melalui tahapan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk dan menghasilkan produk final.. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kelayakan web educative yang divalidasi validator, tanggapan siswa dan guru mengenai kelayakan web educative dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa hasil penilaian kelayakan web educative dari pakar media dan materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 91% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai ≥78 pada uji coba produk mencapai 100% dan pada uji coba pemakaian 93%. Siswa memberikan tanggapan yang baik dengan ditunjukkan perolehan skor rata-rata sebesar 84%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa web educative sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas soal try out UN mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan program ITEMAN, yang meliputi validitas dan reliabilitas soal. Data diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten Banjarnegara tahun ajaran 2011/2012.  Sekolah yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah 9 SMP dari 91 SMP di Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas soal try out UN mata pelajaran IPA SMP di kabupaten Banjarnegara dengan program Iteman memiliki tingkat kesukaran sedang, daya beda cukup, distraktor berfungsi serta reliabilitas dengan kategori tinggi.     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The aims of this research were  to describe  item quality of try out Science National Exams using ITEMAN software, including its validity and reliability questions. Data was obtained by methods of documentation and interviews. This research was conducted at Banjarnegara in 2011/2012 school period. The schools involved  in this research were  9 junior high school from 91 junior high schools at Banjarnegara. Sampling was collected randomly. The subjects of this research were students of IX Grade. The result showed that item quality of junior high school Science National Exam at Banjarnegara was as follows: level of difficulties was middle, different resources were enough, distractor properly functioned, and its reliability was classified ‘high category’.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________This research aimed to know the application of Accelerated Learning with MASTER consept completed by puzzle approach toward activity and biology learning achievement on skeleton system subject at SMPN 13Semarang. This research design was Pre Experimental Design, without control group. The design used one shot case study. The subjek of this research was the students in class VIIIat SMPN13Semarang that consisted of two between eight classes. The result showed that classical student activity have reached >75% and the final grade of each treatment class have reached >85% by KKM predetermined researchers was ≥71. Based on the result and the discussion concluded that the application of Accelerated Learning completed by puzzle can influence the student activity and learning achievement of SMPN13Semarang student on skeleton system. Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Accelerated Learning dengan konsep MASTER disertai media puzzle terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMPN 13 Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design, yang dilaksanakan tanpa menggunakan kelas kontrol. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola One shot case study. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 diantara 8 kelas VIII di SMPN 13 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa secara klasikal telah mencapai >75% dan ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa pada masing-masing kelas perlakuan telah mencapai >85% dengan KKM yang telah ditentukan peneliti yaitu ≥71. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penerapan pendekatan Accelerated Learning disertai media puzzle berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pembelajaran Biologi Molekular berbasis Kompetensi dan Konservasi menggunakan strategi Paired Story telling with picture untuk mendiskripsikan bentuk pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkembangkan nilai-nilai konservasi dalam diri mahasiswa serta mengetahui efektivitasnya. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi berjumlah 42 orang angkatan 2013 yang telah menggunakan kurikulum Unnes 2012. Pembelajaran Biologi molekular berbasis kompetensi dan konservasi didiskripsikan sebagai pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan materi dengan nilai karakter konservasi menggunakan strategi paired storytelling with pictures dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan analisis Standar Kompetensi (SK) dan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) dan pemetaan materi ajar yang memiliki korelasi dengan tema karakter atau nilai-nilai moral dalam konservasi, yang selanjutnya dirumuskan indikator pencapaian SK, KD dengan menyertakan kualitas nilai-nilai konservasi. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan efektif dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam diri mahasiswa dengan indikator: (1) hasil penilaian diri (self assessment) 94,07% mahasiswa setuju dan sangat setuju dengan pernyataan tentang nilai karakter yang ada, (2) kemampuan komunikasi lisan mahasiswa dalam storytelling with picture70% mahasiswa memiliki performance sangat baik dan baik, dan (3) tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran 97% mahasiswa berpendapat bahwa strategi pairedstory telling with pictures melatih kemampuan mahasiswa mengamati dan menganalisis gambar dan menceritakan kembali kepada teman secara tertulis maupun lisan. Molecular Biology and conservation competency-based described as learning that integrates the material with the character of the conservation value using paired strategy storytelling with pictures by analyzing the standard of competence and basic competence. Subjects in this study were 42 students of Biology Education year 2013 who have used the 2012 Unnes curriculum learning. Further, mapping of teaching materials that have a correlation with the theme of character or moral values in conservation was performed. Then, it indicators was formulated for achievement of standard of competence and basic competence to include the quality of conservation values. The results showed that lessons were effective in growing the value of conservation characters within the student by the indicator: (1) the results of self-assessment (self-assessment) was 94.07% of the students agreed and strongly agreed with the statement on the value of the existing character, (2) oral communication skills of students in storytelling by picture media was 70% of students have a performance very well and good, and (3) the response of students to the implementation of the study was 97% of the students found the strategy paired storytelling by picture media could train the students ability to observe and analyze the image and retell to friends written or orally.

Abstract

The study is aimed to analyze the development process and effectiveness of learning suplement base POGIL in circulation system material. This is a Research and Development (R&D) work. The developed learning suplemen consist of students worksheet and learning videos, completed by syllabus and lesson plan as implementation guides. Learning suplemen base POGIL races students to find the material concept ourselves. There are question in students worksheet that guides students find concept by explore pictures, explanations, and videos. POGIL base learning promote students to develop essential skill, it is skill that important to interact in class. The developing process has several steps, it is problem and potension analysis, date collecting, product design, design validation, 1st revision, applied test, 2nd revision, usage test, 3th revision until established  final product. Learning supplement judged by material expert and curriculum expert respectively with percentage 84,6% and 100% (very valid criteria). Learning supplement effective in used in learning process of Junior High School proved by student’s completeness is 88,7%; high-activities students is 98,15%; teacher opinion is very good (100%); and students opinion is very good (88,45%). Metacognition skill develop by student’s self assessment as indicator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan efektivitas suplemen pembelajaran berbasis Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) pada materi sistem peredaran darah tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Suplemen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri atas LDS dan video pembelajaran, dilengkapi silabus dan RPP sebagai panduan pelaksanaan. Suplemen pembelajaran berbasis POGIL memacu siswa menemukan konsep materi dengan kemampuan sendiri. Pembelajaran berbasis POGIL memacu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan esensial, yaitu kemampuan untuk berinteraksi dalam masyarakat kelas. Pengembangan suplemen pembelajaran dilakukan melalui tahap analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, mendesain produk, validasi desain, revisi I, uji coba keterterapan, revisi II, uji coba pemakaian, revisi III, dan menghasilkan produk final. Validator ahli materi dan ahli kurikulum menilai suplemen pembelajaran sangat valid berturut-turut dengan persentase 84,6% dan 100%. Suplemen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan efektif diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di SMP. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 88,7%; siswa yang beraktifitas tinggi 98,15%; tanggapan guru sangat baik (100%); dan tanggapan siswa sangat baik (88,45%). Kemampuan metakognisi berkembang dengan indikator siswa mampu melakukan kegiatan evaluasi diri..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI semester genap SMA N 13 Semarang dengan desain posttest only control design. Sampel yang diperoleh adalah kelas XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3, melalui teknik random sampling. Keefektifan diukur berdasarkan kompetensi sikap dengan predikat minimal B, dan ketuntasan kompetensi ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Hasil perhitungan uji t, nilai kompetensi pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap “Si Imut” minimal baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 100% siswa memperoleh sikap dengan predikat minimal B, ketuntasan ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen 90,9%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 84,8%. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 67, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 61. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik. Simpulan yang dapat diambil media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun efektif terhadap sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system to students sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes. This study was conducted by post-test only control design at grade XI. The samples of this study were grade XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 through random technique sampling. The effectiveness was reached if minimal stance competence predicate is B, and completeness of skill competence of experimental group is greater than control group. The results of t-test showed that experimental group was greater than control group. Response of teacher and students to “Si Imut” was good. The result showed that affective minimal predicate of 100% of students was B, the skill completeness of experimental group was 90,9%, while the control group was 84,8%. Knowledge mean score of experimental group was 67, while control group was 61. Teacher and students gave good response. It could be concluded that “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system learning was effective to improve students sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes.
