Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between parents 'motivation to learn and students' interest in learning. This research was conducted in June 2020 for fourth grade students of Papandayan State Elementary School, Bogor City, which consisted of 43 students. The data analysis technique used simple and regression analysis which produced a relationship model in the form of a regression equation, namely Ŷ = 6.44 + 0.626x, which means that the functional relationship is significant. The strength of the relationship between the variables serving with the correlation coefficient = 0.984 with the coefficient of determination (KD) = 0.97 indicates that 97% of interest in learning can be generated from the existence of learning motivation from parents

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of career guidance and counseling program models in helping students to improve career maturity so that they could take the right career decisions and minimize the unemployment rate.  As a result of the search, most of the unemployed in Indonesia came from high school graduates who were not ready to work in the industrial sector both in terms of skills and knowledge. Unemployment was also caused by a mismatch between majors studied with jobs and ideals, including a lack of information regarding the jobs or study program chosen. Students who were indicated to have low career maturity could be given intervention in career guidance and counseling program. The research used research and development methods involving Guidance and Counseling experts and students from high schools. Based on research results, the Career Guidance and Counseling program model was effective in increasing career maturity in which there were learning materials on self-knowledge, career orientation, and career planning. This is evidenced by the results of statistical data processing showing the sig. value of 0.000 was smaller than 0.05 at 5% significance level, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, resulting in this career guidance and counseling program indirectly contributed to reducing unemployment AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model program bimbingan dan konseling karier dalam membantu peserta didik meningkatkan kematangan karier sehingga dapat mengambil keputusan karier yang tepat dan bisa meminimalisasi angka pengangguran. Sebagaimana hasil penelusuran, bahwa sebagian besar pengangguran yang terjadi di Indonesia berasal dari lulusan SMA sederajat yang tidak siap pakai didunia industri baik dari segi keterampilan dan pengetahuan. Pengangguran juga disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian antara jurusan dengan pekerjaan dan cita-cita, termasuk kurang informasi terkait pekerjaan atau program studi yang dipilih. Peserta didik yang terindikasi memiliki kematangan karier yang rendah, dapat diberikan intervensi berupa program bimbingan dan konseling karier. Metode penelitian menggunakan research and development melibatkan pakar Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) serta peserta didik dari SMA sederajat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model program Bimbingan dan Konseling Karier efektif meningkatkan kematangan karier yang di dalamnya terdapat materi mengenal potensi diri, orientasi karier dan perencanaan karier. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh hasil olah data statistik menunjukkan nilai sig. 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05 pada taraf signifikansi 5% maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga secara tidak langsung program bimbingan dan konseling karier ini berkontribusi menekan angka pengangguran.

Abstract

Analisis sosiometri merupakan salah satu teknik BK non tes yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan sosial individu dalam kelompoknya. Melalui analisis sosiometri didapatkan informasi siswa yang terisolir dalam kelompoknya, sehingga penting bagi mereka untuk menumbuhkan interpersonal skill melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling supaya siswa tersebut lebih mampu mengenal dan mengelola pola komunikasi dengan lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumentasi sosiometri berupa angket. Adapun hasil analisis sosiometri di kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sukajaya menunjukan bahwa terdapat 5 siswa yang masuk pada kategori terisolir karena sama sekali tidak mendapatkan arah pilih siswa. Pengembangan interpersonal skill siswa dapat diupayakan melalui program layanan bimbingan dan konseling pribadi sosial. Salah satunya adalah mengikuti kegiatan intra dan ekstra kulikuler yang telah disediakan oleh sekolah. Lebih lanjut pada waktu tertentu mereka perlu dilatih untuk dijadikan pemimpin dalam kelompoknya, sehingga ia memiliki tanggung jawab penuh atas kendali kelompok dan ia dapat merasakan memiliki peran penting bagi orang lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group work training to increase the adaptability career of students. The unemployment that occurred in Indonesia is caused by college graduates that are not ready in terms of both skills and knowledge. Unemployment is also caused by the mismatch between the majors in college and work and ideals, low salary, and unpreparedness to accept changes. Quasi-experimental research methods and purposive sampling are executed. There are 66 of 388 students categorized in low and very low career adaptability. These 66 students are divided into two equal groups: every 33 students in the experimental and control group. For those in the experimental group are trained with the group work method. Based on a calculation using the Wilcoxon Pair Test p = 0.000 was obtained with ɑ = 0.05. To determine the effect of group work training towards career adaptability of students is by comparing the probability value (p) obtained by ɑ = 0:05. The study result indicated to reject the null hypothesis (Ho), which means there is a significant difference between the experimental and control gain. It could be argued that effective workgroup training effects to increase the career adaptability of Education Department students of Jakarta State University.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan group work terhadap peningkatan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa jurusan kependidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Banyaknya pengagguran yang terjadi di Indonesia disebabkan oleh lulusan perguruan tinggi yang tidak siap pakai baik dari segi keterampilan dan pengetahuan. Pengangguran juga disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian antara jurusan dengan pekerjaan dan cita-cita, gaji yang kurang, serta ketidaksiapan menerima perubahan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Dari 388 sampel, terdapatlah 66 orang mahasiswa yang memiliki kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Adapun 66 orang mahasiswa tersebut dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu sebanyak 33 orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan 33 orang pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil pelatihan di dapat bahwa berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon pair test diperoleh p= 0,000. Dengan ɑ=0,05. Dasar pengambilan keputusan untuk menentukan pengaruh pelatihan group work terhadap adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa adalah dengan membandingkan nilai probabilitas (p) yang diperoleh dengan ɑ =0.05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut artinya tolak hipotesis nol (Ho), bahwa pelatihan group work efektif (berpengaruh) meningkatkan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa jurusan kependidikan UNJ

Abstract

Self-confidence is a very important aspect, especially in the student learning process, with confidence there will be a process of change in students not only in learning outcomes but also in student behavior and attitudes, namely courage, activeness, and student self-actualization during the teaching and learning process. Building a confident attitude needs to be supported by several things, especially the family environment (parents). This study describes how the role of parents in giving appreciation to foster self-confidence in children in home education. This study aims to determine how the role of parental appreciation in building children's self-confidence and what factors hinder and support efforts to build children's self-confidence. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data was validated using the data source triangulation technique (combined observation, interview, and documentation). The sources and informants in this study are teachers, students, and parents of students. The results stated that parental appreciation acts as a motivation for children to be enthusiastic about learning, as an increase in children's creativity, and as an increase in children's independence. Factors that act as supporters and inhibitors are, cooperation between parents and children, mutual openness and understanding between parents and children, parents’ educational background, economic background, environment, free time that parents provide, parents' busyness, and fulfillment of children's needs by parents. Abstract

Qiro'ati is one of the methods of reading the Qur'an that was first discovered by KH. Dachlan Salim Zarkasiy from Semarang in 1963. And Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Muttaqien is one of the many institutions in Indonesia that uses the Qiro'ati method to improve and improve the reading of the Qur'an of its students. This study discusses the relationship of the Qiro'ati method to the ability to read the Qur'an of students. The research used is quantitative research. The research subjects were seventh grade students at MTs Darul Muttaqien. In collecting the data using questionnaires and tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the Qiro'ati method and the ability to read the Qur'an of seventh grade students at MTs Darul Muttaqien. In addition to school or madrasah, the Qiro'ati learning process is also carried out in a dormitory environment by creating a Al-Qur'an group or halaqoh. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan implementasi metode Beyond Center and Circle Time (BCCT) dalam membangun pendidikan karakter peserta didik di SD/MI. Latar belakang masalah pada penelitian ini adalah saat kasus Covid-19 sedang melonjak dua tahun kebelakang yang mengakibatkan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring. Hal tersebut menyebabkan menurunnya karakter anak bangsa yang ditandai dengan berkurangnya motivasi belajar, kemandirian, dan rasa hormat serta ketidakmampuan dalam menerima pembelajaran. Sehingga perlu adanya penguatan karakter kembali melalui proses pendekatan metode pembelajaran. Berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi menimbulkan perubahan pada pola pendidikan, dengan muncunya beberapa masalah sosial yang dihadapi oleh generasi bangsa, serta pengaruh negatif dari media sosial. Dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, proses pembelajaran telah bertansformasi dengan memperkenalkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai tahap perkembangan peserta didik. Dalam mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran tersebut dibutuhkan peran penting seorang guru. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga tahap, 1) observasi, 2) wawancara, 3) dokumentasi Penelitian dilakukan di kelas 3 SD Bosowa Bina Insani. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode BCCT dapat membangun pendidikan karakter melalui empat tahap pijakan dalam posisi circle, discipline with love, dan program pembiasaan sekolah berbasis karakter. Abstract

Character plays an important role for students, one of the efforts to shape the character of quality students is through full day school so that the formation of these characters can achieve results. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of full day school in the formation of religious and disciplinary character of students and to find out what factors become obstacles in the formation of religious and disciplinary character. The method in this study was qualitative with a field study approach (Field Research) and this research was conducted in class VII. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by triangulating data sources (a combination of observations, interviews and documentation). The informants and informants in this study were school principals, PAI teachers, homeroom teachers for class VII and students. The results of the study stated that full day school can form religious and disciplinary character values ​​by habituation and exemplary methods through programs to strengthen character education in schools, starting from setting intense schedules to varied teaching and learning activities. This can be seen from the teaching and learning process activities that run in an orderly manner, such as Islamic habituation activities. While the main factor that acts as an obstacle is the family, such as busy parents, social environment, and school facilities and infrastructure that are not optimal

Abstract

The research aims to find out how to develop Angel Path media in career guidance and counseling to increase students' career maturity. This research uses the research and development method which refers to Borg and Gall (1998), from 10 stages the researcher uses 5 stages to adjust research needs with the following steps: (1) Identification of Potential and Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) ) Product Design, (4) Product Validation, (5) Product Revision. The results of this research can be seen from the results of validation by three experts, namely one guidance and counseling teacher who is currently studying a master's degree in guidance and counseling, one expert in the field of media who is currently studying a master's degree in educational psychology, and one student who has used Angel media. The path with the results of the quality assessment of the feasibility of the product being developed is included in the "Very Feasible" category. This Angel Path media is based on the Crites career maturity inventory which has cognitive and affective aspects. This aspect has several points, namely self-assessment, information, goal selection, problem solving, involvement, independence, orientation, assertiveness, and compromise. It is hoped that the Angel Path media can be utilized by guidance and counseling teachers to achieve student career maturity. ____________________________________________________________Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media Angel Path dalam bimbingan dan konseling bidang karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development yang mengacu kepada Borg and Gall (1998), dari 10 tahapan peneliti menggunakan 5 tahapan menyeseuaikan kebutuhan penelitian dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Identifikasi Potensi dan Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Desain Produk, (4) Validasi Produk, (5) Revisi Produk. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi oleh tiga orang ahli yang merupakan satu guru bimbingan dan konseling yang sedang menempuh studi S2 bimbingan dan konseling, satu ahli dalam bidang media yaitu sedang menempuh pendidikan S2 psikologi pendidikan, serta satu peserta didik yang pernah menggunakan media Angel Path dengan hasil penilaian kualitas kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Media Angel Path  ini berdasarkan pada inventori kematangan karir Crites yang memiliki aspek kognitif dan afektif. Aspek tersebut memiliki beberapa poin, yaitu penilaian diri, informasi, seleksi tujuan, pemecahan masalah, keterlibatan, independensi, orientasi, ketegasan, dan kompromi. Diharapkan bahwa media Angel Path dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk mencapai kematangan karier peserta didik.
