Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan produk berupa modul pembelajaran berbasis learning cycle 5E pada materi ikatan kimia, mendeskripsikan hasil validasi modul yang dikembangkan dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis learning cycle 5E yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations) tetapi tahapan ini  hanya dilakukan sampai pada tahapan pengembangan dan uji skala kecil. Modul yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 5 kegiatan belajar .Tiap-tiap kegiatan terdiri dari 5 fase, yaitu fase pendahuluan (engagement), fase eksplorasi (exploration), fase penjelasan (fase explanation), fase penerapan konsep (elaboration) dan fase evaluasi (evaluation). Modul yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh 3 orang validator. Hasil uji validasi didapat adalah 92,59% dengan kategori valid. Respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis learning cycle 5E dilakukan di SMAN 2 Pekanbaru yang secara umum sangat baik dengan persentase hasil respon peserta didik adalah 86,85%, sedangkan respon guru sebagai pengguna juga sudah dikategorikan baik yaitu dengan nilai 86.31%.

Abstract

The implementation of learning media based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) on chemistry was found to be very low. For this reason, ICT-based chemistry learning media which utilized autoplay application were developed in this research. The validated product of the learning media based by autoplay on chemistry can be implemented as a learning medium to improve students' communicative character. This research was designed by using the Plomp model in the form of Research and Development (R&D). Data of this research were collected by validation sheets, questionnaire responses (teachers and students), and communicative observation sheets with descriptive statistical analyses and independent sample t test. The validity results showed that the average percentage from media expert and material expert judgment were 88.25% and 91.69% with a category of valid. Moreover, the results of the response of teachers and students respectively obtained an average percentage score of 85% and 81% with a category of very interesting. Then, the results of the independent sample t test for 0,000 <0.05 indicated that there were significant differences in the communicative character of students before and after the use of learning media based on autoplay on chemistry with a percentage of 72.25%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties faced in developing wondershare quiz creator as an evaluation medium for HOTS-based chemistry learning on salt hydrolysis material. The approach used in this research is a case study. Based on the results of the data, the difficulties experienced in developing the wondershare quiz creator as an evaluation medium for chemistry learning were obtained, namely: (1) difficulties in finding questions that were in accordance with 21st century learning, because 21st century learning requires evaluation based on High Orther Thinking Skills (HOTS) (2) Lack of cost, time, supporting facilities in media development; (3) Lack of creativity in developing interactive evaluation media.

Abstract

ABSTRAKModel penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery) efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ikatan kimia di Kelas X TKJ SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pra-eksperimen dengan one group pretest and posttest design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan pertimbangan dari 2 kelas X TKJ diperoleh kelas X TKJ 1. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t berpasangan. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis data diperoleh thitung>ttabel yaitu 92,85%, artinya penggunaan strategi Guided Discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi ikatan kimia di Kelas X TKJ SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru.Kata kunci : Guided Discovery, Hasil Belajar, Ikatan KimiaABSTRACTThe guided discovery model is effective for improving student learning outcomes on chemical bonding material in Class X TKJ SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru. Abstract

Misconceptions can prevent students from mastering the material more deeply. This is because misconceptions can hinder the process of receiving and integrating knowledge. Therefore, the teacher must identify the misconceptions that occur in students. This study was conducted to identify misconceptions about thermochemistry using a three-tier diagnostic test for students at senior high school with a total of 33 students. The research design used is descriptive research. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection used was three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test and interview. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics with percentages and criteria for misconceptions. The results showed that 16.72% of students understood the content, 36.36% had misconceptions, guessed 18.54% and 28.27% did not understand the concept. Through this finding, in the hope is that teachers could analyze the causes of students' misconceptions, and find appropriate learning methods and media to reduce misconceptions occurred.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is one of the must-have abilities for students in 21st century learning. This study aims to develop critical thinking questions on salt hydrolysis material using the wondershare quiz creator application. This research is a Research and Development with the Plomp model. The research subjects are 20 students and 2 chemistry teachers in a small-scale trial. The instruments used are critical thinking questions, material expert validation sheets, media expert, and response questionnaires for teachers and students. Based on the results of the validation of questions by the material, evaluation, language, and practitioner experts, the validation results have a score of 90% for the material aspect, 96% for the construction aspect, and 94% for the language aspect with a category of Valid. For the results from the media expert are 90% on content substance aspect, 95% on learning design aspect, and 92% on display aspect with a category of Valid. As for the result of the small-scale trial of student responses, it obtained the score of 87% in the “very good” category. While the result of the teacher responses obtained the score of 87.92% in the category of “very good” as well. Based on these results, critical thinking questions on hydrolysis material are valid to be used as an instrument for assessing critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan tentang studi pendahuluan media evaluasi berbasis wondershare quiz creator pada materi hidrolisis garam. Studi pendahuluan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media evaluasi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran kimia, kendala pada peserta didik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran kimia, dan mengeksplorasi kebutuhan media evaluasi pembelajaran kimia. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan guru kimia di MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa media wondershare quiz creator dibutuhkan sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi sebesar 100 persen. Media evaluasi tersebut dapat mempermudah guru dan dapat memotivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Learning media is a means used by educators to support the learning process activities to achieve the expected goals. Student learning outcomes can be influenced by the use of interesting and easy-to-understand learning media for students, one of which is Focusky. The Focusky application will produce learning media that can stimulate student learning styles with the advantages of the drag and drop method. The method used is a meta-analysis by reviewing articles published in national journals related to Focusky learning media. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis for the data from the narrative study of the studies found. The sample used was 10 articles in national journals about focusky learning media. The results of the meta-analysis of national journals show that learning using focusky-based learning media has an effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Termokimia merupakan salah satu materi kimia yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Dalam memahami materi termokimia, siswa sering kali mengalami salah pemahaman atau miskonsepsi karena materi tersebut bersifat abstrak dan memerlukan representasi pada tingkat makroskopis, submakroskopis, dan simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyebab miskonsepsi siswa pada materi termokimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif metode studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya siswa mengalami miskonsepsi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesalahan siswa dalam memahami materi, kurang nya variasi guru dalam mengajar serta sumber belajar siswa yang kurang interaktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEM terintegrasi model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar  peserta didik pada setiap jenjang pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Meta analisis adalah penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara merangkum, mengkaji, dan menganalisis data dari beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 artikel yang telah memiliki ISSN yang terdiri dari 20 artikel internasional dan 10 artikel nasional. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menghitung hasil penelitian dari setiap artikel. Berdasarkan hasil data yang dianalisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan STEM model Problem Based Learning lebih efektif diterapkan dibandingkan model lainnya dengan rata-rata nilai 1,13 dengan kategori tinggi, integrasi pendekatan STEM terhadap hasil belajar lebih efektif diterapkan pada jenjang SMA dengan rata-rata nilai 0,67. Berdasarkan analisis Hasil Belajar STEM, Type Integrasi, Jenjang Pendidikan dan Tahun Publikasi menunjukan Penggunaan STEM integrasi model pembelajaran dapat dilakukan sebagai analisis pendahuluan dan dasar penelitian di bidang STEM. Hasil belajar STEM terintegrasi untuk membekali peserta didik dalam kesiapan bekerja dan keterampilan belajar abad ke-21.AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the STEM approach integrated learning model on student learning outcomes at every level of education. This type of research is meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is research conducted by summarizing, reviewing, and analyzing data from several studies that have been conducted. The research sample consisted of 30 articles, with an ISSN consisting of 20 international and ten national articles. The data analysis technique used in this research is to calculate the results of each article. Based on the results of the data analysis, integrating the STEM approach with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is more effective than other models. PBL average score is 1.13 in the high category. The integration of the STEM approach to learning outcomes is more effectively applied at the high school level, with an average value of 0.67. The analysis of STEM, learning outcomes, type of integration, education level, and year of publication shows that integrated STEM learning models can be used as a preliminary analysis and basis for research in the STEM field. STEM learning outcomes are integrated to equip students with work readiness and 21st-century learning skills.
