Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah prototipe generator magnet permanen aksial AC 1 fasa. Generator magnet permanen dipilih karena tidak memerlukan arus eksitasi DC serta sistem pemeliharaan yang relatif mudah. Jenis magnet permanen yang digunakan adalah NdFeb (Neodymium-Iron-Boron). Generator yang dirancang bertipe double sided coreless stator. Hasil pengujian diperoleh tegangan rms sebesar 12,13 volt dengan frekuensi 50,2 Hz pada pengujian tanpa beban dan 11,93 volt dengan frekuensi 50,1 Hz pada pengujian berbeban. Beban yang digunakan yaitu 3 buah lampu pijar 24 volt 125 mA terhubung paralel. Kata kunci : PLTPH, Generator, aksial, 1 fasa dan NdFeb

Abstract

Non-linear loads increasing on a power system results in harmonic distortion (THD) increasing. Harmonic distortion increasing getting bad influences on power system components. Measurement at one of PLNs customer installations with many non-linear loads shows the amount of voltage THD 9.41% and current THD 15.05%. To reduce the harmonic distortion we can use harmonic filters. The filter designed is a single-tunned passive filter. The design of harmonic filters adapted to the dominant order occured. Filters are not only used to reduce harmonic distortion occurred but also increase power factor. From the simulation results that by installing a single-tunned passive filters on the system, voltage THD has decreased from 9.41% to 6.61% while the current THD decreased from 15.05% to 10.40%. Meanwhile, system power factor increased from 0.971 to 0.992.Keywords: Total Harmonic Distortion, Passive Filter, Nonliear Load

Abstract

Studi ini membahas pengaruh unbalance under voltage (UBUV) dan unbalance over voltage (UBOV) sesuai standar NEMA MG-I 2003 terhadap kinerja motor induksi tiga fasa dengan analisis menggunakan perhitungan metode komponen simetris untuk mengetahui parameter-parameter analisis operasi motor induksi saat steady state diantaranya yaitu karakteristik arus, rugi-rugi daya, efisiensi, dan torsi motor induksi serta simulasi kecepatan putaran motor. Penelitian ini hanya sebagai studi teori dan pemodelan simulasi menggunakan software PSIM Profesional 9.0.3.400 dengan objek penelitian data tegangan tiga fasa yang tidak seimbang pada pelanggan industri PT. PLN dan motor induksi tiga fasa di laboratorium energi Teknik Elektro, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada motor induksi 0,5 HP ketika terjadi UBUV dengan persentase 1,103% terjadi ketidakseimbangan arus 6,1%, rugi-rugi daya meningkat 6,22%, efisiensi menurun 3,19%, torsi menurun 7,53% dan kecepatan putaran menurun 0,386%. Sedangkan ketika terjadi UBOV dengan persentase 1,026% terjadi ketidakseimbangan arus 5,65%, rugi-rugi daya meningkat 22,82%, efisiensi menurun 2,96%, torsi meningkat 8,01% dan kecepatan putaran meningkat 0,165%.Kata kunci: UBUV, UBOV, NEMA MG-I 2003, metode komponen simetris, motor induksi tiga fasa.

Abstract

 This study was conducted to evaluate the voltage profile and decrease the electric power, main feeder 20 kV distribution system of Kalibakal Substation (GI Kalibakal). Evaluation refers to the standard PT. PLN (Persero) SPLN 72: 1987 about the specification and design to JTM and JTR and SPLN 10-1A: 1996 percentage losses tolerance is ± 10% of the power delivered. Evaluation results used as the basis for improved simulation voltage drop and  power losses with a network reconfiguration method. Potential re-configuration is determined by looking at the voltage profile and power losses in each configuration feeder and around feeder nearest feeder that will be reconfiguration. Simulation is done using the tools ETAP power station to analyze the power flow the main feeder of GI Kalibakal.The first simulation assuming GI Kalibakal voltage of 20 kV as the voltage rating of medium voltage distribution system. The result is that the voltage profile, 92.66%  in feeder 5 and 94.62% in feeder 6  under standard. With the GI Kalibakal boost to the 20.5 kV, voltage profile feeder 5 rose to 95.29% and feeder be 97.21% 6. So by increasing the voltage GI Kalibakal from 20 kV to 20.5 kV voltage profile already meet the standards.From the simulation with the GI Kalibakal voltage 20.5 kV, losses that occur in all feeder under 10% which means meet with the standard, the largest losses in feeder 5 for 2.81%. Losses had to be suppressed as small as possible in this case performed by a network reconfiguration that can be done without investment. Reconfiguration is done by involving feeder 2, 3, 5 and 6 with total losses before the reconfiguration is 401 kW. After a reconfiguration of the steps:1. Three sections with a value of voltage on the marginal area (section 5_8, section5_9     and 5_10) feeder delegated to section 6 through 6_8, 2. Section 6_11 and 6_12 section feeder transferred to section 3 through 3_6, 3. Section 5_8, 5_9 and 5_10 its section 6_8, 6_9 and 6_10 delegated to feeder section 2    through 2_6, total losses feeder 2,3,5 and 6 to 290 kW, so there is a decrease losses of 401-290 = 111 kW. Key word : Reconfiguration, voltage profile, losses.

Abstract

Development renewable energy as electrical energy need to be followed by provision of low speed generator, especially for small-scale use of alternative energy. This study discusses the design of low speed synchronous generator using permanent magnets for producing magnetic flux in the rotor. Stator coils are designed so that on the rotation of 500 rpm generator can produce 5 watts output power at 3 phase voltage 12 Vac.

Abstract

Personal computer is electronic equiment that use solid state device, such as rectifiers, so it to be source of harmonic current. Harmonic current is sinusoidal current with multiple frequency of fundamental current which will be increase power losses because increasing effective current and frequency. In electric distribution system, transformer is component with highest power losses. They are consit of DC losses (Pdc) that influence by effective current, eddy current (PEC) and other stray losses (POSL) which influence by effective current and their frequency. This study involved increasing transformer power losses with assume that transformer supply in full load condition to personal computer. Analyzes following IEEE Std. C57.110-1998 with comparing determination maximum transformer loading use current spectrum from spectrum analyzer equipment and conversion produce Mathlab from current wave time domain to current wave frequency domain. The result are maximum transformer loading is 97,84 use spectrum analyzer and 97,84 use Mathlab sofware.

Abstract

This studi involve decresing method of harmonic current content in a radial distribution systems used single tuned passive filter. The distribution systems model consist of transformer 20/0,4 kV supplying groups of non linier loads that is represented by personal computer (PC) and fluorescent lamp 2x40 W as load harmonic current source. Passive filter was installed in PCC bus (0,4 kV) and analysis to be conducted according to IEEE std.1531-2003 and IEEE std. 519-1992. The reesult showed that insalation passive filter in PCC bus will decrease magnitut load harmonic current significantly. The decreasing determined by reactive power capacity and frequency tunning of passive filter.

Abstract

Within this physical hydraulic model of spillway of the Pidekso Dam, the experiment consisted of 9-series of testing; 4-series were testing of narrowing the angle of transition channel by 24 degree while 5others were by 12 degree. For the testing of series No.0 (original design) to No.8, the flow capacity was adequate for various discharges over spillway and outlet structure. Overall, the best hydraulic performance of the model was achieved by series No.4 in term of flow condition (uniformly distributed). This was a model of transition channel with angle of transition of 12 degree and no baffle apron used.Basically, all of testing of the model series No.0 to No.8 brought the positive impact to the downstream-part (section No.36) by considering the dissolved oxygen (DO) level. It was ranging from 11.1 mg/l to 14.2 mg/ l. According to the results of DO level, then only the series No.0 to No.3 were chosen as alternatives design for the case of transition channel with the angle of 24 degree combined with various dimensions of baffle apron. There were regular changes of DO level but the values were still lying above the minimum requirement level and were not harmful for fishery.By respecting to the eco-hydraulic concept, the downstream waterway was designed to be the stone pitching combined with vegetation. It was suggested that the bare floodplain at downstream-part need to be greening by mean of vegetation.Keyword: dam, spillway, baffle apron, dissolved oxygen

Abstract

Research attempts to understand the potential and demand of water and the water balance, the review on water balance at Watershed Renggung to ensure the satisfaction of the demand of irrigation and domestic waters at Central Lombok District. In this research water potential is 243.34 millions m3 comprising to 22.59 millions m3 river water, 252.51 millions m3 HLD supplement, and 1,309 mm rainfall or equaled to 252.51 millions m3. River water supply is calculated based on 80 % (Q80) dependable discharge from AWLR Renggung- Ponggong in the period from 1992 to 2011. Discharge is used as the guidance to determine water availability at Watershed Renggung. Result of analysis indicates that the maximum discharge is available at 3.658 m3/ second on March. The average debit is 0.721 m3/second, while the minimum discharge is 0.608 m3/second on October. The current water demand for multi-sectors is 225.11 millions m3. These multi-sectors include domestic, irrigation, animal husbandry, fishery and industry. For the industry, the water is supplied only to the industry in the sub-district at the Watershed. The analysis devices for water availability involve the analysis of rainfall and the analysis of surface water.The water demand total at Watershed Renggung for the next 25 years is estimated in the average as 227.58 millions m3. This total figure consists of: 208.40 millions m3 for irrigation water, 7.59 millions m3 for domestic water, 5.40 millions m3 for animal husbandry, 4.90 millions m3 for fishery, and 1.30 millions m3 for industry. The prediction of water demand total from 2011 to 2031 based on Water Demand Index (IKA) Standard of NSAD at NTB Province is 94.75 % in average, meaning that the water use rate is critical. By 2036, IKA is assumed as 101.87 meaning that the water use rate will be deficit.Keywords: water demand, water availability, water balance

Abstract

Dalam rangka menuju kemandirian dan ketahanan pangan ,maka pemerintah berupaya untukmeningkatkan produksi beras dan taraf hidup petani sehingga diperoleh manfaat penghematan devisa nasionaldan membuka kesempatan kerja serta mengurangi kemiskinan. Tujuan dan manfaat studi adalah penyusunansrtategi dan kebijakan pemberdayaan Lembaga Pengelola Jaringan Irigasi di tingkat desa dan sebagai pedoman untuk meningkatkan keberadaan HIPPA sebagai lembaga pengelola jaringan irigasi yang mandiri dalam pengelolaan maupun pemeliharaan jaringan irigasi . Metode yang dipergunakan adalah analisis SWOT untukmenentukan Strategi kebijakan pemberdayaan HIPPA. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pemberdayaan HIPPA diperlukan strategi dan kebijakan sebegai berikut : organisasi HIPPA harus berbentuk badan hukum, pemerintah sebagai fasilitator, motivator, mengadakan kerja sama pengelolaan, menyediakan tenaga pendamping, menyediakan sarana produksi dan memfasilitasi pembentukan koperasi serba usaha.Kata kunci : Pemberdayaan, irigasi, HIPPA
