Abstract

Stone sawing process in the area of Sleman leaves stone powder as waste, which discharged directly onto the ground can result into a barren land can not be planted and will also lead to ground can not absorb rainwater where this can lead to severe environmental damage, such as floods and droughts.To overcome this problem, the program is made of natural stone sawmill waste utilization through science and technology to the Community (IbM), with a program of making handicrafts using the main raw material waste sawdust and splinters of natural stone. The program is implemented with the main objective to empower people to be able to cope with waste and create new jobs. The resulting product consists ofCrafts (handcraft),Flower Pot and Mosaic The first is the handcraft produced with the main ingredient as the matrix is resin apoxy 95%, hardener 3%, plus 2% cobalt, as inforcement used stone dust particle with variable best comparison is 50% matrix, and 50% particle inforcment. whereas the mold to make handcraft materials using RTV silicone rubber 586 plus hardener. Both produced flowerpot with the main ingredient of cement and sawdust stone cast coupled with hardener (hardener), where the best compositions based on test results is 15% cement an d 75% stone dust. The molds used are made of Fiber Glass and steel molds. The resulting third is a mosaic, made of stone flakes aggregate prepared using cement and wire mesh material as  a binder and stone chips as forming ornaments. The mold using steel plate rectangular with size (20 x 20) cm. Of the three products produced, which has the best economic value is the Flower Pot, followed handcraft, while the mosaic has the lowest economic value

Abstract

Debu merupakan kotoran yang sering berterbangan dilingkungan sekitar, apabila debu tersebut terhirup oleh manusia maka akan menyebabkan gangguan pada pernafasan manusia. Sama halnya terhadap komponen kendaraan yang beroperasi setiap waktu. Debu yang menempel pada komponen kendaraan akan mengakibatkan gangguan-gangguan pada kinerja komponen tersebut, rancang bangun alat pengisap debu pada komponen kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan ini bertujuan untuk menjaga dan meminimalisir debu yang berterbangan diudara bebas akibat dari pembersihan komponen kendaraan yang kurang diperhatikan efek sampingnnya bagi kesehatan manusia. Dengan adanya alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan ini, kita dapat membersihkan komponen-komponen tersebut tanpa harus mencemari lingkungan sekitar, selain itu alat ini membantu mekanik dalam pembersihan komponen-komponen kendaraan yang berdebu seperti filter udara, kampas rem, kampas kopling mobil, dan komponen-komponen lainnya. Proses pembuatan rancang bangun alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan ini dilakukan dengan tahap perencanaan bentuk, perencanaan ukuran, penentuan dan perancangan komponen-komponen pendukung untuk alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan. Melakukan survei bahan-bahan dan komponen-komponen yang dibutuhkan dalam pembuatan alat sehingga menghasilkan rancang bangun alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan dan mempunyai manfaat bagi dunia otomotif selain itu bermanfaat juga bagi lingkungan sekitar. Setelah beberapa komponen yang dibutuhkan oleh alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan ini terkumpul maka tahap selanjutnya yaitu merakit beberapa komponen agar terbentuknya suatu alat penghisap debu pada kendaraan yang berguna dan bekerja sesuai fungsinya. Melakukan pembahasan dan pengkajian alat agar alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan ini benar-benar dapat bekerja sesuai fungsinya. Hasil perancangan alat penghisap debu pada komponen kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan memiliki spesifikasi berdimensi diameter drum bagian atas 590 mm, dengan drum bagian atas yang berukuran tersebut maka drum ini dapat menampung sebuah blower dan filter. Drum bagian bawah berdiameter 590 mm dengan tinggi 300 mm yang mampu menampung air 35- 40 liter air. Rangka memiliki dimensi tinggi 910 mm, lebar 540 mm, dan panjang 590. Rangka terbuat dari plat besi ST34 dengan profil L. Alat penghisap debu komponen kendaraan ramah lingkungan memeliki fungsi dan cara kerja menghisap debu dari hasil proses pembersihan komponen dan di filtrasi oleh aliran air sehingga debu akan tersaring dan larut kedalam air dan udara kotor yang terhisap akan keluar kembali dalam keadaan bersih.

Abstract

Abstract - This study is to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial motivation factors in the era of 4.0 including family background, entrepreneurial education training, courage to take risks, and the desire to work independently of the students of the AKPRIND Yogyakarta Institute of Science Technology. This type of research is ex-post facto. The population of all students taking entrepreneurship courses in the odd semester of 2020/2021 is 61 students. Data collection using a questionnaire. The validity test used the item score correlation with the total score, the reliability used Cronbach alpha, the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and SEM. Data processing using the help of a computer program Lisrel. The results of this study indicate that there is a direct influence of 1) family background (X1) on the entrepreneurial motivation variable (Y) of 0.33 and the value of t = 6.33. 2) entrepreneurship education and training (X2) on the entrepreneurial motivation variable (Y) of 5.28 and the value of t = 5.38. 3) courage to take risks (X3) on the entrepreneurial motivation variable (Y) of 0.24 and the value of t = 4.87. 4) the desire to work independently (X4) on the entrepreneurial motivation variable (Y) of 5.22. While the indirect effect of variable 1) family background (X1) on the courage to take risks (X3) is 0.26 and the value of t = 4.28. 2) entrepreneurship education and training (X2) on the risk-taking courage variable (X3) of 0.14 and the value of t = 2.27. 3) family background (X1) on the variable desire to work independently (X4) of 0.27 and the value of t = 4.07. 4) entrepreneurship education and training (X2) on the variable desire to work independently (X4) of 0.13 and the value of t = 1.72.

Abstract

This research aim to: (1) know the module development process, (2) to know the feasibility and (3) find out the effectiveness of the module to interpret engineering drawings, which have been made to support learning in interpret engineering drawings subject. The method that used in this research is research and development methods. Collection data was done by using questionnaires and test questions. The techniques of data analysis was done by using descriptive analysis techniques, by analyzing quantitative data and then interpreted in a qualitative sense. The results showed that: (1) learning module development process carried out in four main stages: needs analyze, design and creating a module, testing the feasibility and effectiveness of testing modules, (2) feasibility testing shows an average percentage value 88% with "very good" criteria and can concluded the learning interpret engineering drawings module is feasible to used for the learning process, and (3) the effectiveness testing is done by comparing the posttest experimental class value with the posttest class control value,obtained the t count value = 3.701 with the conclusion that the using of developed modules can effectively used to support learning in interpret engineering drawings subject.

Abstract

The Energy Saving Car Contest (KMHE) is a contest organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). This is a contest among students to make a national level fuel efficient vehicle. The purpose of designing this design is to produce an energy-efficient car body design "Mataram Proto" and to produce a vehicle that has a good aerodynamic level. This design of the car body is designed elegantly but still has good aerodynamics and does not reduce the safety aspects of the driver. The process of making a car body design uses Autodesk Inventor and the process of aerodynamic analysis of the Mataram Proto car body uses Ansys Mechanical software. Aerodynamic testing was carried out at an air speed of 45 km / h or 12.5 m / s. From the previous Mataram Proto body test results, the drag coefficient was 0.233 and the lift coefficient was 0.1887 and from the Mataram Proto V5 car body test, the drag coefficient was 0.47 and the lift coefficient was 9.95. From the results of this test, it shows that the previous Mataram Proto car body had a better aerodynamic level due to the difference in the input of different airspeed variables, where the air velocity on the previous Mataram Proto car body was 40 (km / h) and the air speed on the Mataram Proto V5 body. amounting to 45 (km / hour).

Abstract

The Energy Efficient Car Contest - Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE) is an annual national level fuel efficient car competition organized by the National Achievement Center - Pusat Prestasi Nasional (Pusprenas) of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in collaboration with one of the universities in Indonesia as the host. One of the categories of competition in KMHE is the Urban Concept type, which is a four-wheeled vehicle that looks like a car in general and is suitable for driving on the road with an internal combustion motor driven with alcohol as an alternative fuel. Vehicle weight is a major obstacle in efforts to save fuel. Vehicles must be designed in such a way that they are light in weight but without compromising their ability to drive. The weight of the Urban Concept vehicle is contributed by the engine, powertrain, body, chassis and driver's weight. The engine used must use an engine on the market (using premium/pertalite/pertamax fuel), so that weight reduction can only be done in other components. On this occasion, the students of SMK Negeri 1 Sambi, Boyolali, Central Java were given the concept of how to design a chassis and powertrain that meets the needs of a vehicle but is light in weight.

Abstract

The entrepreneurial learning process must also be able to build entrepreneurial character in students, including the courage to take risks, be able to see the future and create opportunities, be able to modify products by providing added value for consumers, thus creating a difference with competitors (Arasy Alimudin, 2013). Tamtams Warmindo is a food stall developed by several students of IST Akprind Yogyakarta with a menu that focuses on healthy food. The reason the food menu focuses on a healthy food menu is due to the covid-19 pandemic which has created an intention to make healthy eating in the form of simple stalls that are very popular with the public, especially the DIY area. After this business was opened and running for some time, and saw some aspects of the business so that it could qualify for the 2021 Indonesian Student Business Competition (KBMI) program funding.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal, namun sering menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan bisnis karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran BLK dalam meningkatkan kompetensi para pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Purworejo. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei, wawancara, dan analisis data sekunder. Survei dilakukan kepada para pelalaku UMKM untuk memahami persepsi dan pengalaman mereka terkait dengan program pelatihan yang disediakan oleh BLK. Wawancara dilakukan dengan staf BLK dan pihak terkait lainnya. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa BLK memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi para pelaku UMKM. Program pelatihan yang disediakan oleh BLK memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan UMKM. Pelaku UMKM juga mengakui manfaat dari program pelatihan dalam mengembangkan bisnis mereka, meningkatkan kualitas produk, dan meningkatkan daya saing. Tantangannya keterbatasan waktu, biaya, dan akses informasi. BLK perlu peningkatan promosi, pembiayaan yang terjangkau, dan penyediaan informasi yang lebih mudah diakses. Pengabdian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran BLK dalam meningkatkan kompetensi para pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Purworejo. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat digunakan oleh pemerintah dan lembaga terkait untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program pelatihan BLK serta mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM dalam mengakses pelatihan.

Abstract

Salah satu dampak dari pandemi Covid 19 adalah semakin banyaknya masyarakat yang menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam beraktivitas. Dampak tersebut juga dirasakan pelaku UMKM yang mulai mempergunakan media internet sebagai sarana untuk beraktivitas dalam berjualan. Banyak perubahan signifikan yang harus dihadapi UMKM tentang cara berkomunikasi dan pemasaran produk. Tren pemasaran produk sudah mulai bergerak ke arah digital marketing. Pemasaran Digital (Digital Marketing) merupakan salah satu strategi dalam melakukan pemasaran dengan menggunakan media internet seperti website, media sosial, email atau lainnya. Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai salah satu sarana promosi menjadi salah satu sarana yang harus digunakan para pelaku UMKM untuk mempromosikan produk. Salah satu upaya yang ditempuh Paguyuban UMKM di Sedayu adalah menjalin kerja sama dengan Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta , khususnya pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM tentang teknologi informasi. Metode kegiatan diawali dengan melakukan wawancara dan diskusi terkait kebutuhan materi digital marketing yang akan disampaikan dan dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi mengenai digital marketing. Hasil kegiatan para pelaku UMKM mendapatkan gambaran penggunaan media internet khususnya media sosial sebagai sarana promosi. Pelaku UMKM sudah mulai menggunakan media sosial seperti Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook dan lainnya sebagai sarana untuk memperkenalkan produk dan juga sebagai sarana untuk melakukan transaksi penjualan.
