Abstract

The quality  of products  of a  Teacher Training  Institution  does not merely  depend  on the grade point everage they pursue,  but also on the competitive   advantage  they gain during  the learning   process to fight for position  and apply the pedagogical  priciples  in the work market  share.  The  quality of teaching  and learning  process   in the campus  should  be then  fitted to  such  needs  of  the market   share, which  can  be  done  by sending lecturers   to  schools   as  apprentice teachers.This Peer Grant Research is aimed at: 1) developing  the quality of lecturers  instruction, 2) developing relationship between IKIP PGRI Madiun   and  the  peer  institutions,   3) searching   and  implementing alternative     strategies    for  teaching    and  learning    effectiveness. Collaborative   teaching  between  lecturers  of IKIP PGRI Madiun  and teachers  of SMP N 11 Madiun  is designed  to: 1) observe  the existing condition  of classes,  2) discuss  for developing  alternative  strategies, 3) arrange and implement  the instructional  design, 4) conduct teaching and learning  process,  and 5) suggest  evaluation.  Class  observation, questionaire   and interview  are used to draw data from 7 subjects  in research,   i.e.:  Bahasa   Indonesia,   English,   Natural   Science,  Social Science,  Math, Civics  and Counseling.The  results   of  the  research   can  be  outlined   as  follows:   1) lecturers   develop   their  classes   by  inspecting    and  implementing directly the instruction  in real scholls  classes, 2) identification  against weaknesses  in schools  classes can be arranged for further evaluation, 3) the campus  develops  teacher  training  instructional   designs  based on field inventions,  4) collaborative  team invent alternative  strategies in classes, 5) lecturers experience real schools classes so as to develop their instructional design, 6) teachers are motivated to continously develop their teaching to gain optimal out-come.Key words: quality, learning, apprenticeship, lectures

Abstract

This study aims to determine employee work motivation Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, to determine employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, and to know is there any effect of work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. The samples in this study using saturated sample as many as 34 people are based on all Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Pegumpulan data using questionnaires and documentation methods. In analyzing the data used product moment correlation statistical method to test the validity of the instruments used in regression testing method to test the hypothesis put forward in this study. The results showed that the influence of work motivation at the same time a positive relationship to work productivity Batik Small Industries Employees "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It is derived from the value of 0.717 while rtabel rhitung of 0.339 (0.717 ≥ 0.339). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob (0.000 ≤ 0.05) was rejected, meaning that work motivation has a relationship with the Small Industries Employees work productivity Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It also obtained the F test value , the value of F at 33.830 while the value Ftable 4.149 (33.830 ≥ 4.149). On the other hand Sigprob Sighit of 0.000 and 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05) means there is a denial that shows that there are significant between work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Also obtained regression coefficients (t test) with tcount 5.816 while the value ttable 2,037 (5.816 ≥ 2.037). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob value (0.000 ≤ 0.05). With this was rejected, meaning that there are different influences on the productivity of Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. While the results of R2 of 51.40 %, 51.40 % shows that for the variable productivity of employees affected work motivation , while the remaining 48.60 % is influenced by other factors . Furthermore, when seen in the derived regression equation value equation Y = 10.320 + 0.773 X. From the regression equation it can be seen if the motivation to work as much as 1 % increase labor productivity will increase as well of 0.773 %, while the other factors remain. Keywords : Work Motivation, Work Productivity

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategies used by MSMEs of Batik Murni in developing their business. The informants in this study were 18 people. The method used was a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that: (1) The use of cost leadership strategies, differentiation strategies and focus strategies had an important effect on the development of MSMEs of Batik Murni. (2) The factors that affected the development strategy of MSMEs of Batik Murni consisted of capital, labor and marketing. (3) The raw materials used by MSMEs of Murni Batik in the production process were cloth and silk cloth, canting, for textile dyes by using remasol, naptol and indigosol and natural dyes, for washing by using waterglass. (4) The capital of MSMEs of Batik Murni was obtained from personal capital, capital loans to the East Java Regional Bank and to PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA). (5) The sales system used by MSMEs of Batik Murni was a direct and indirect sales system. (6) MSMEs of Batik Murni used a marketing research strategy, sales research, marketing information systems, marketing plans and evaluation. (7) The impact of the development strategy for MSMEs of Batik Murni Madiun, namely an increase in the amount of production, an increase in the amount of marketing and finally an increase in income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the facility in Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. To determine customer satisfaction at Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. To know the facility is there any influence on customer satisfaction Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative method, while the sampling technique in this research is cluster sampling, that customers who stayed at Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center with a number of 101 respondents. Collecting data using questionnaires and observation methods. In analyzing the data the instruments used are validity and reliability. To test the assumption using normality test. And to test the hypothesis of this study using simple linear regression analysis of the data, the determinant coefficient, and t test. The results were obtained a total score of facilities has a value above the average of 59 respondents, while below the average of 42 respondents. Y = 11.727 + 0,820X. The constant equal to 11.727, meaning that if the variable or constant fixed-value amenities, the amount Customer Satisfaction is 11.727. This means that without the influence of the amenities variable customer satisfaction will continue to have a value of 11.727. A regression coefficient of 0.820 has the sense that if an increase in 31 the Facility variables Customer satisfaction will rise by 0.820 of one unit assuming other variables remain. The coefficient is positive means that there is a positive relationship Facility and Customer Satisfaction. Based on the analysis above can be seen the value of R2 is 0.799. So the influence of facilities to customer satisfaction Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center 79.9% while the remaining 20.1% is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that the facility has an influence on customer satisfaction. T test calculations obtained was 19.810 while ttabel 1.937. Thus H0 is rejected, meaning that there is influence overall facility to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the consumption patterns of female porters in the Magetan vegetable market. The type of research used is qualitative research through a case study approach. The total number of informants is 40 people. Collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that, (1) Due to the high economic needs, and low income, the women chose to become porters, they chose this job because there was no other job. (2) There is not much income per day as porters, they work from morning at 07.00-15.00 WIB, they earn around Rp. 50,000-Rp. 70,000. (3) Before becoming porters, among them were only household workers, fried food sellers, farm laborers, where they rarely had buyers. (4) Obstacles that are often experienced by female porters are decreased health factors, bone pain, sometimes colds, dizziness. In addition, there is another factor, namely the quiet market conditions. (5) With a mediocre and uncertain income, female porters always prioritize basic needs, namely clothing, food, and housing. However, if they have more money, they will choose to save it, just in case there is an urgent need. (6) From the interviews, according to them the needs that have been fulfilled, namely household needs including kitchen needs, electricity bills, PDAM water bills, children's school bills, and basic needs can be met every day

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to influence of leadership style on employee performance in institution Bumi Damai Madiun. The sample in this study all existing employees in the institution Bumi Damai Madiun, totaling 34 people. Data collection using questionnaires. In analyzing the data used statistical methods to test the product moment correlation is valid whether or not the instruments used and the method of regression tests for testing the hypothesis put forward in this study. The results showed that leadership style has relationships and a positive influence on the performance of employees at the Institute Bumi Damai Madiun. It is obtained from the correlation test that shows the value of rhitung is rtabel 0.339 0.740 whereas, on the other hand is 0.000 while the magnitude Sighit Sigprob 0.05. This means that the value rhitung ≥ rtabel (0.740 ≥ 0.339) or ≤ Sighit Sigprob (0.000 ≤ 0.05) meaning a rejection of H0 to show that leadership style has a relationship with employee performance on Institute Bumi Damai Madiun.  Further test results were also obtained Fisher, Fhitung value is 38.843 while the F table at 4.149, on the other hand is 0.000 while the magnitude Sighit Sigprob 0.05. This means that the value Fcount Ftabel ≥ (≥ 38.843 4.149) or ≤ Sighit Sigprob (0.000 ≤ 0.05) meaning a rejection of H0 which indicates that there is the influence of leadership style on the performance of employees at the Institute Bumi Damai Madiun. Besides t test results obtained, is 6.232 whereas tcount ttabel of 2.037, on the other hand is 0.000 while the value Sighit Sigprob 0.05. This means that tcount ≥ TTable (6.232 ≥ 1.694) or ≤ Sighit Sigprob (0.000 ≤ 0.05) meaning a rejection of H0 which shows that there are different leadership style influence on the performance of employees at the Institute Bumi Damai Madiun. R 2 of 0.548 results showed that 54.8% of employees affected by the performance variable leadership style, while the remaining 45.2% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the investment pattern of TKI in Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency. There are 15 informants who have worked abroad with 1 departure. This type of research is qualitative with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis in this study used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate: (1) The people of Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency, decided to become migrant workers because they wanted to improve their economic conditions and seek investment capital. (2) The attractiveness of becoming a TKI is due to the high salary and environmental influences. (3) The TKI's income is sufficient to make investments. (4) TKI divides their income to send it to their families and save it. (5) TKI can arrange expenses as needed. (6) their finances after working abroad are sufficient for their needs. (7) TKI understands investment. (8) TKIs have financial plans before retiring from work abroad. (9) Almost all TKI from Lembeyan have no investment barriers. (10) Property investment is the most preferred choice for TKI Lembeyan
