Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran Biologi SMA berbasis metakognitif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan mengembangkan karakter mandiri siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-postest dan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Perangkat pembelajaran diimplentasikan pada 30 siswa kelas X-8 SMA Negeri 1 Manyar. Hasil implementasi perangkat pembelajaran, meliputi: keterlaksanaan RPP selama tiga kali pertemuan berkategori sangat baik, kemampuan kognitif dilihat dari ketuntasan indikator rata-rata mencapai 94% dikategorikan tuntas, ketuntasan individual rata-rata mencapai 87,17 dikategorikan tuntas, dan karakter mandiri siswa umumnya berkategori baik. Secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis metakognitif yang diimplementasikan pada di SMA Negeri 1 Manyar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa, mengembangkan karakter mandiri siswa.

Abstract

Technology and science for community (IbM) program aimed to create opportunities becameagropreneur (entrepreneurship based on processing agricultural products) for unemployment female throughimplementing training in making “Kerja Mas” (Keripik Jagung Manis) whose product had economic value andcould be marketed to general public. In implementing IbM program had been effort to improve knowledge andskills for female in Sesela Village in order to be able to develop business center of processing sweet cornwhich was affordable and could be received by public. This IbM program has implemented well throughsocialization activities, preparation activities, counseling material, training making Kerja Mas (keripik jagungmas), and mentoring. The result of implementing IbM program such as;(1) overall participants could make“kerja mas” product which already tested through organoleptic test, (2) “kerja mas” product had obtainedlicense of Dinkes P-IRT to guarantee decent healthy food consumption for public; (3) the product packing of“kerja mas” was fascinating and could be marketed in public; (4) establishing Joint Business Group (KUBE)“kerja mas” wa legal as center of processing sweet corn and as effort consummate agropreneur at Seselavillage, and (5) the result of IbM program could be published in Jurnal Ilmiah ISSN.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengintegrasian potensi lokal suatu daerah dalam pembelajaram masih sangat kurang terutama pada pelajaran IPA.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa serta mendeskripsikan hasil belajar kognitif siswa setelah diajarkan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal yang telah dibuat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model 4-D, desain penelitian ini menggunakan one group pre test and post test. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran,  lembar tes hasil belajar kognitif, dan angket respon siswa. Analisis data hasil validasi, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket, dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif sedangkan untuk tes dianalisis berdasarkan ketuntasan individu dan N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan skor rata-rata untuk perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan 3,2 untuk silabus dan 3,61 untuk RPP dengan kategori valid dan sangat valid. Skor rata-rata dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 10,5 dengan persentase 87,65% interpretasi sangat baik. Skor rata-rata pre-tes 32,4 dan post-test 76,6 hasil ini menandakan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sehingga didapatkan rata-rata N-Gain 0,64 kategori sedang. Analisis rata-rata angket respon siswa berjumlah 3,6dengan kategori sangat baik, ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap proses pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Kata kunci: Perangkat Pembelajaran, Kearifan Lokal, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

LKS has been implemented in schools in general and has not presented problems related to local wisdom in learning so that students do not develop their skills. The research objective is to develop LKS based on local wisdom and improve problem-solving skills. The type of research Research and Development that uses a 4D model includes defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The instruments in the study were validation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets (RPP), observation sheets for problem-solving skills, and student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques used is validation, observation, questionnaire, documentation. The results showed that the development of local wisdom-based LKS was feasible with a validity level of 3.59 (valid / non-revised categories). The implementation of RPP learning with an average value of 88.4% (very good category), problem-solving skills of students with an average value of 75 (good category), with quality improvement reaching at 0.42 (medium category), average value the student response questionnaire is 3.70 (very good category). Based on the above results it can be concluded that the LKS based on local wisdom that has been developed is declared valid/not revised and is feasible to use and can improve students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) develop the basic Biology LKM-oriented inquiry learning; (2) describe the implementation of Basic Biology learning by using an inquiry-oriented LKM; (3) to describe students' science process skills in Basic Biology learning by using LKM-oriented inquiry learning, and (4) to describe the student's response in Basic Biology learning activity using LKM-oriented learning inquiry. This research is a kind of developmental research, using 4-D model and implementation design using one group pretest-postest. Data to be collected include data of science process skill and student response, with data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The developed Basic Biology LKMs have validity with reasonable and reliable categories, so they can be used in learning. The results of the implementation of learning tools, including: the implementation of RPS categorized very well, students' science process skills are generally well categorized and experienced an increase with N-gain reaching 0.55 medium category, as well as good student response. Overall it can be concluded that the basic Biology LKM oriented inquiry learning can improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

Learning science including biology is strived to lead to the formation of skills not only relies on conceptual mastery. So it is necessary to instill skills in students through teaching and learning activities, one of them is science process skills. FPMIPA IKIP Mataram students are currently future candidates for natural science educators who have the responsibility to train their students to achieve the expected learning outcomes. Science process skills are one of the life skills that a person must possess in facing competition in the 21st century. These skills can be trained through inquiry learning. This study aims to describe the students' science process skills after being taught using an inquiry-oriented worksheet. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with one shoot case study. Data collection techniques are observation and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate the science process skills of students who use an inkuri-based worksheet of 75.73 with good categories. Based on the results above, the conclusion of this research is the science process skills of students after the implementation of the inquiry-oriented worksheet on average reaches a good category.

Abstract

National education is expected to produce intelligent Indonesian man, solve life problems and form human beings who are able to think creatively. The result of early observation in SMA Al-Ma'arif NU Al-Manshuriyah Bonder, found the problem among the students are less active in thinking cretif, ask, and learning outcomes are still relatively low. This quasi experimental research was conducted with the aim to know the Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning Model on Improving Creative Thinking Ability and Cognitive Learning Outcomes of Grade X High School Al-Ma'arif NU Al Manshuriyah Bonder. The design used was the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design in two classes taken at random, the XB class as an experimental class taught by Problem Based Learning Model and class XA as control class which was taught by lecture and question and answer method. Data of creative thinking ability and cognitive learning result data were collected by test technique and analyzed by t-test at 5% significance level. The results showed that, the ability of creative thinking in the experimental class and control class has a value of tcount = 5.26 ˃ ttabel = 2.11. While student learning result indicate that thitung (7,75) > ttable (1,671). Based on the results of research can be concluded that Problem-Based Learning Model affects the improvement of creative thinking skills and student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Biology is a basic science for studying living things. Basically, some biological content that is contemporary in the learning process is not only in the form of transfer of information and facts from the teacher to students through what they see and what they hear through specific information processing, but requires literal understanding of concepts. Provision of material biological concepts become biased and inherent in one's understanding and cause cognitive conflict that leads to misconceptions. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the analysis of students' mastery of concepts in solving problems that are considered correct but theoretically wrong. The analysis used in this study was by identifying students' level of understanding in a material and concept. Conclusions from the study that the level of student misconception through its CRI analysis> 2.5 of 30 students, 97% experienced misconception. For this reason, it is necessary to study biological material and be revised by the teacher and students by studying the material and concepts that are correct or bringing in experts in the field of biology.
