Abstract

This study aims to find out the interaction and influence of problem based learning model based on performance assessment and numerical talents towards the learning outcomes of mathematics learners. Type of research in this research is quasi experimental research (Quasi Experiment). This study has a control group, but not entirely to control external variables that influence the execution of experiments. Research design used in this experiment is Treatment By Level (2x2) where one of its independent variables will serve as moderator variable. The population of the study was all students of grade X SMA N 7 Denpasar in Year 2016/2017 for 9 classes of IPA and 3 classes of IPS with 430 people. Samples were selected as 4 classes, namely class X IPA 2 and X IPA 4 as experimental group and class X IPA 6 and X IPA 7 as control group with multistage random sampling technique. The instrument in the research is a method of mathematics learning outcomes and numerical talent tests. The data were analyzed by using two-way ANAVA hypothesis and Tukey Test. Based on the results of the Anova two paths shows that the value of F for AxB interaction is obtained Fhitung of 13.72, while Ftabel with 5% significance level and dbD 76 is 3.97. It shows that Fhitung> Ftable (0.05) (1.76) (13.72> 3.97), so that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the result of Tukey test, Qhitung counted 6,19 while Qtabel for significance level 5%, with k = 4 and n = 20 equal to 3,96. It turns Qhitung> Qtabel (0,05) (4,20), (6,19> 3,96), so the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the data analysis it was found that: (1) there was interaction between learning model and numerical talent of learners toward mathematics learning result (2) there was difference of learning result of mathematics between student who follow problem based learning model based on performance assessment with students following conventional model (3) there is a difference in the learning outcomes of mathematics among students who follow a problem based learning model based on performance assessment with learners following the conventional model of learners who have low numerical talent. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is an interaction and influence of problem-based learning model based on performance assessment and numerical talents towards the achievement of mathematics learning outcomes of X grade students of SMA N 7 Denpasar Year of Education 2016/2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bahan ajar dengan pendidikan matematika realistik berlandaskan konsep tri kaya parisudha yang berkualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif. Adapun bahan ajar uang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku untuk mahasiswa dan buku untuk dosen. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan tahapan-tahapan penelitian, teknik pengambilannya menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di jurusan pendidikan matematika IKIP PGRI Bali. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar trigonometri dengan pendidikan matematika realistik berlandaskan konsep tri kaya parisudha yang berkualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif. Adapun karakteristik pembelajarannya: 1) menggunakan masalah kontekstual (the use of context); 2) menggunakan berbagai model (the use of models); 3) kontribusi mahasiswa (student contributions); 4) interaktivitas (interactivity); 5) keterkaitan (intertwining); 6) proses pembelajaran mengarah pada pembentukan nilai pengetahuan, keterampilan serta sikap yang baik. Sedangkan karakteristik bahan ajarnya adalah: 1) berisi tentang petunjuk penggunaan buku; 2) peta konsep; 3) sub pokok bahasan; 4) tujuan pembelajaran; 5) tercantum kunci jawaban; 6) tercantum petunjuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran; 7) daftar pustaka.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of problem solving strategies oriented to open mathematical problems towards the achievement of learning mathematics, by paying attention to the factors of students' metacognitive skills. The research design used in this study was a 2 x 2 factorial research design, with a simple random sampling technique. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIPA Public High School 7 Denpasar academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of 9 classes with a total of 324 people. With samples of class XII MIPA 2, XII MIPA 4, XII MIPA 5, and XII MIPA 8. Tests were carried out by t-test, F test, Tukey test through Anava Two-way statistical method. From the results of data analysis, it was found that, (1) there was an influence of learning strategies on open mathematical problem-solving problem solving on students' mathematics learning achievement. (2) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with high metacognitive skills. (3) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented to open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with low metacognitive skills. (4) there is no interaction between learning strategies and metacognitive skills on mathematics learning achievement of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between parents' level of education, learning motivation, and problem solving abilities towards mathematics learning outcomes. The type of research used is qualitative (descriptive). Subjects used by students of class XI Natural Sciences in the city of Denpasar. The study was conducted at the State High School and private class XI Science Year 2018/2019 in Denpasar City. Implementation This research began in February until August 2019. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis, Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPM), and the coefficient values ​​were received. Based on the results of research and data analysis it can be concluded in this study are: (1) There is a relationship between the level of parental education on mathematics learning outcomes. (2) There is a relationship between students' learning motivation and learning outcomes. (3) There is a relationship between problem-solving abilities and mathematics learning outcomes (4) There is a simultaneous relationship between parents' level of education, learning motivation, and problem-solving abilities towards mathematics learning outcomes of XI high school students in Denpasar in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Problem solving is influenced by the level of parental education and learning motivation which ultimately increases the learning outcomes of students' mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara mahasiswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI dengan hasil belajar pada mata kuliah masalah nilai Awal dan syarat batas yang menggunakan model pemebelajaran konvensional pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali setelah diadakan pengendalian terhadap disiplin belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester VII yang berjumlah 70 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tehnik simple random sampling, tetapi yang dirandom adalah kelas. Kelas eksprimen semester VII A, dan Kelas kontrol Semester VII B Pendidikan Matematika FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali tahun akademik 2019/2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain metode dokumentasi, metode tes dan metode angket. Untuk menguji data yang telah dikumpulkan, dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji prasyarat dan uji analisis kovarian (ANAKOVA) satu jalur. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FPMIPA, (2) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI setelah diadakan pengontrolan terhadap disiplin belajar pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali Tahun Akademik 2019/2020.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the diffractive learning strategy assisted with worksheets can increase student activity and mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects of class X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research object of frogressive diffraction learning was assisted by worksheets. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation or observation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of the study for student learning activities in cycle I were 9.92, and in silkus II were 16.80. Student learning outcomes for an average cycle I of 6.48 and cycle II of 8.02. The absorption capacity in the first cycle was 64.8% and the second cycle was 80.2%. Classical mastery learning in cycle I was 20.0% and cycle II was 85.7%. So the application of progressive differentiation learning strategies assisted by student worksheets in mathematics learning can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes of class X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a student response or to improve the student's ability to answer mathematics induction questions in the Basic Mathematics Introduction course by applying the problem solving learning model through the Zoom application. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in the Mathematics Education Study Program of the PGRI Mahadewa University of Indonesia. The subjects of action research were students in semester 1 of Mathematics Education at PGRI Mahadewa University in Indonesia for the academic year 2020/2021, and the object of this research was the study of understanding mathematics induction material in basic introductory mathematics courses and student responses to problem solving learning models. In this study, two cycles were used and each cycle went through four stages of the activity process which included (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study are using test and observation methods. Retrieval of data using observation techniques for qualitative data. The results of the action research are (1) There is a student response in the ability to answer math induction questions, (2) the application of problem solving learning models with the zoom application can improve the ability to answer math induction questions in the basic introductory mathematics course.

Abstract

Online learning is a system of learning activities that are carried out without going through face-to-face directly but through the internet network. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the open-ended learning model with online learning in improving student learning outcomes and responses. This type of research is classroom action research. Action research is designed using two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of the sixth semester of Mathematics Education, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia, Academic Year 2020/2021. The object of research is student learning outcomes in Algebra subjects after being given learning using an open ended learning model with online learning. The results showed that the first cycle obtained an average grade of 77.96; 77.96% absorption, 66.67% classical completeness, and the second cycle obtained an average grade of 84.26, 84.26% absorption and 96.30% classical completeness. Conclusions from the results of action research (1) The application of the open-ended learning model with online learning can improve student learning outcomes, (2) There is a positive response from the sixth semester students of Mathematics Education at PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia University for the 2020/2021 Academic Year to the open-ended learning model with online learning at Linear Algebra course.

Abstract

HOTS learning is learning in the cognitive domain of analyzing, evaluating, and creating. This study aims to determine the development steps and quality of digital mathematics teaching materials for class X SMA HOTS oriented on the material of a three-variable linear equation system. This research and development procedure uses an adaptation of the Plomp model, with the following steps: initial investigation, design, realization/construction, and test, evaluation and revision. Sources of research data are validators and high school mathematics teachers. Research data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of the initial validity test were declared "valid", with a material validity value of 0.72, language validity 0.92, and media validity 0.87. The results of the final stage of the validity test were declared "valid", with a validity value of 0.95. In the quality test, HOTS-oriented digital teaching materials were declared to have "good quality", with the result that all indicators on aspects of content, presentation, language, and media obtained an average score in the range of 9-10 on the Thurstone scale, the value of the interquartile range which is small below 2 and the mode value is close to 11 on the Thurstone scale.

Abstract

STEM is an appropriate learning with the demands of the 21st century. This study aims to determine the steps for the development and quality of digital mathematics teaching materials for class X SMA based STEM on trigonometry material. The procedure uses the research and development adaptation Plomp development model that includes four stages, namely a preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, and testing, evaluation and revision. Sources of data in this study are validators, mathematics teachers and students of SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. The data collection technique used a validation questionnaire for validation tests, practicality questionnaires for practicality tests and tests for testing the effectiveness of teaching materials. The results of the initial validity test were declared "valid", with the value of validity in the content aspect of 0.72, validity of the presentation aspect of 0.90, language validity 0.92, and media validity 0.93. The results of the second stage the validity test were declared "valid", with a validity value 0.91. The test results on the practicality obtained was 75.8 students and teachers 75.3 categorized as "practical", the results obtained in the evaluation of students had an average of 82.63, it can be interpreted that mathematics teaching materials based STEM “effective” for use in learning
