Abstract

Abstract"The Mental Revolution." The term that President Soekarno first used in 1957 when the national revolution was stopped. The mental revolution is a movement aimed at galvanizing the Indonesian man into a new man of white heart, steel-bearing, eagle-eagled spirit, sparkling fire. One part of the Mental Revolution is law enforcement. Law enforcement is a process of real efforts to enforce legal norms as a guide to traffic behavior or legal relations in the life of society and state. The press as part of the pillar of democracy has a role in the effort of realizing law enforcement through its preaching. The role of mass media can not be underestimated. In certain cases, indirectly media can assist in defending the small people from oppression. Mass media can also make giving direction to government policy in order to always pro people, do not emphasize merit of elite. In social media coverage, quotes from the President's statement about the Mental Revolution from each individual are widely disseminated, but have never been interesting to talk about by readers because they are still dominated by negative things. In fact, the implementation of the Mental Revolution has been initiated in various government bureaucratic environments, especially as conducted by the Indonesian Police, the Attorney General's Office, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB). The existing news dynamics tend to be more dominantly distributed, such as: "Papa Asks for Stocks", "Komjen Budi Waseso", "Multiple Positions", and "Setya Novanto Case". Key Word: Mental Revolution, Press, Law EnforcementAbstrak “Revolusi Mental.” Istilah yang pertama kali digunakan Presiden Soekarno tahun 1957 ketika revolusi nasional sedang berhenti. Revolusi mental adalah sebuah gerakan yang ditujukan untuk menggembleng manusia Indonesia agar menjadi manusia baru yang berhati putih, berkemauan baja, bersemangat elang rajawali, berjiwa api yang menyala-nyala. Salah satu bagian dari Revolusi Mental adalah penegakan hukum. Penegakan hukum merupakan suatu proses dilakukannya upaya tegaknya norma-norma hukum secara nyata sebagai pedoman perilaku lalu lintas atau hubungan-hubungan hukum dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan bernegara. Pers sebagai bagian dari pilar demokrasi mempunyai peran dalam usaha mewujudkan penegakan hukum melalui pemberitaannya. Peran media massa tak bisa disepelekan. Pada kasus-kasus tertentu, secara tak langsung media dapat membantu dalam membela rakyat kecil dari penindasan. Media massa juga dapat membuat memberi arah kebijakan pemerintah agar selalu pro rakyat, tidak mementingkan segolongan elit semata. Dalam pemberitaan media sosial, kutipan pernyataan Presiden mengenai Revolusi Mental mulai dari setiap individu cukup banyak disebarkan, namun belum pernah menjadi yang menarik untuk dibicarakan oleh pembaca karena masih didominasi hal-hal yang negatif. Padahal, pelaksanaan Revolusi Mental telah digagas di berbagai lingkungan birokrasi pemerintahan, khususnya seperti yang dilakukan oleh Kepolisian RI, Kejaksaan Agung, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan Kementerian Pemdayaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (PAN RB). Dinamika pemberitaan yang ada cenderung negatif malah lebih dominan disebarkan misalnya tentang: “Papa Minta Saham”, “Komjen Budi Waseso”, “Rangkap Jabatan”, dan “Kasus Setya Novanto.Kata kunci : Revolusi Mental, Pers, Penegakan Hukum

Abstract

The background of the study is Tiki communication strategy in promoting services between goods that can be attract consumers to use the services of the company. This study aims to determine and analyze the communication strategy of Tiki Jakarta. Facebook instalation this type of research is qualitative descriptive research with interview method, observation and documentation of TIKI research results can know the customer well, convey the message that is prepared that service Excellent, Discount, Invoicing, entertaint, and Free Pickup, set the method of promotion repeatedly, last choose 3 mainstream social media Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook. Constraints contained in customer complaints such as less educative new customers, as well as the transfer of services from offline to online, Tiki's efforts to overcome obstacles by making various forms of significant changes. Conclusion that in the activities of Corporate Communication Strategy tiki quite responsive in dealing with problems customer-facing, and able to adapt well in the digital age. Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is known as a civilized nation. Including one of them the work of Maumere ikat. The cloth comes from Flores, which has high artistic value and is beautiful. In general, woven ikat maumere fabric is fabric made from weaving processes that require so much energy and time. Maumere ikat is also made by women who have high creativity and artistic creations. Maumere's ikat weaving is not only limited to artistic creations, but its making also considers symbols of social, religious, cultural and economic status. Even certain motifs are made through high concentration of thought. This research is related to the meaning of motifs in Welak Maumere Ikat Weaving cloth with Gecko motifs. The meaning of the "WELAK" ikat motifs in Sikka is called "UTAN" which represents something of value. Keywords: Meaning, Gecko Motif, Welak Woven Fabric  Abstrak Indonesia dikenal sebagai bangsa yang berbudaya. Termasuk salah satunya hasil karya berupa tenun ikat Maumere. Kain tersebut berasal dari Flores yang bernilai seni tinggi dan indah. Pada umumnya kain Tenun ikat maumere adalah kain yang dibuat dari proses menenun yang memerlukan tenaga dan waktu yang begitu lama. Tenun ikat Maumere juga dibuat oleh kaum perempuan yang memiliki daya cipta dan kreasi seni yang tinggi. Tenun ikat Maumere  juga bukan hanya sebatas kreasi seni, tetapi pembuatannya juga mempertimbangkan simbol status sosial, keagamaan, budaya dan ekonomi. Bahkan beberapa motif tertentu yang pembuatannya melalui renungan konsentrasi tinggi. Penelitian ini terkait makna motif dalam kain Tenun Ikat Welak Maumere dengan motif Tokek. Makna motif tenun ikat “WELAK” yang dalam bahasa daerah Sikka disebut “UTAN” yang merepresentasikan sesuatu nilai.  Kata kunci : Pemaknaan, Motif Tokek, Kain Tenun Utan Welak

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nowadays, the phenomenon of bullying has led to the emergence of a new trend known as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is an act of insulting, humiliating, intimidating, and threatening someone by using electronic information or electronic documents. Cyberbullying is commonly found on social media especially on Instagram. Cyberbullying can happen to anybody, including Generation Z who is currently the main target with the most cyberbullying reports. This is because Generation Z grew up in the digital era, so they are familiar with technology and digital devices since childhood. Admit it or not, the technology that participates in the growth and development of Generation Z affects their personality. The forms of cyberbullying consist of; Harassment, Trickery, Denigration, Impersonation, and Flaming. The results of this study indicate that the cyberbullying committed and experienced by Generation Z can cause mental damage such as; depression, stress, paranoia, insecurity or loss of self-confidence, and temperamental. Jakarta is the center of most users of social media, especially Instagram. This study uses two theories, that is phenomenology and routine activities. The data collection technique was carried out by the author by observation, interviews, and literature study. Broadly, this study aims to provide knowledge about the importance of maintaining oral and written words on social media. Abstract

Abstract The Hiroshima by John Hersey is a book that tells the story of a event when the atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. One year later, John Hersey observed and dug up information for three weeks, then interviewe more than 40 people. eventually, he chose six victims that have interesting story where survived from atomic bomb. They are Miss Toshiko Sasaki, Doctor Masazaku Fuji, Mrs Hatsuyo Nakamura, Father Wilhelm Kleinsorge, Doctor Terfumi Sasaki, and Pastor Kiyoshi Tanimoto. This research uses qualitative approach. With descriptive qualitative method. The unit of analysis that used in this study is the book Hiroshima by John Hersey with observing excerpts of the story in the book. As well as researching whether the book belongs to the category of literary genre journalism or not. The collected data is then analyzed using journalism theory literary works according to Robert Vare, who said that in writing journalism, In literature there are seven considerations that must be considered. These include facts, conflicts, character, access, emotion, time travel and novelty elements. The results of this study shows that the book Hiroshima is a work of literary journalism and has fulfilled the seven elements.Keywords: Literary Journalism, Hiroshima, Literature ABSTRAK Buku Hiroshima karya John Hersey merupakan buku yang mengisahkan kejadian nyata ketika bom atom dijatuhkan di kota Hiroshima Jepang pada 6 Agustus 1945. John Hersey melakukan peliputan di kota tersebut setelah satu tahun kemudian. Ia meliput selama tiga minggu dan mewawancarai 40 orang lebih, kemudian mengangkat kisah enam korban yang memiliki perjalanan menarik ketika bertahan hidup paska bom dijatuhkan. Mereka adalah Nona Toshiko Sasaki, Dokter Masazaku Fuji, Nyonya Hatsuyo Nakamura, Pastur Wilhelm Kleinsorge, Dokter Terfumi Sasaki, dan Pendeta Kiyoshi Tanimoto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Unit analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku Hiroshima karya John Hersey dengan mengobservasi cuplikan kisah di buku tersebut. Serta meneliti apakah buku itu termasuk kategori jurnalisme bergendre sastra atau tidak. Data yang terkumpul kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan teori jurnalisme sastrawi menurut Robert Vare, yang mengatakan dalam menulis karya jurnalisme sastra ada tujuh pertimbangan yang harus diperhatikan. Diantaranya fakta, konflik, karakter, akses, emosi, perjalanan waktu dan unsur kebaruan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku Hiroshima merupakan karya jurnalisme sastrawi dan telah memenuhi ketujuh unsur tersebut. Kata kunci : Jurnalisme Sastrawi, Hiroshima, Sastra

Abstract

ABSTRACTHealth communication is an activity of delivering health information to make changes in individual and group behavior to improve health.This study aims to determine health communication in the delivery of messages about health protocols, the Market Center wholesale Cikarang.The approach used in this research is qualitative approach with descriptive method.Data collection techniques are carried out through observation,interviews,and documentation.Based on the results of the study, health communication in the delivery of perceptions about health protocols in the Cikarang wholesale Center Market during the pandemic that wearing masks is ineffective because it makes it difficult to breathe, although there are also those who perceive masks as protective so that they are worn in accordance with appropriate health protocols.While hand washing is not done for allergic nreasons, also because it does not come into contact with other visitors.Although there are also those who assess hand washing according nto health protocols needs to be done because it can protect hands from ngerms and corona viruses.Meanwhile, in maintaining distance, market visitors stated that they did not maintain a distance according to health protocols because they perceived it as ineffective considering the narrow market room while visitors were crowded, although there are also those who apply maintaining distance according to health protocols because they come to the market during the day so that it is quiet. Keywords: Health Communication, Public Perception, Health Protocols,Covid-19

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan public speaking untuk meningkatkan komunikasi sosial. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi sosial serta keterampilan berbicara didepan umum yang efektif Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Pengkot Kota Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan offline/luring di Institut STIAMI yang berlokasi di Jalan Kartini, Bekasi. Pelatihan ini menghadirkan narasumber yaitu Bapak Dr. Geofakta Razali, seorang dosen Ilmu Komunikasi Institut STIAMI yang berpengalaman. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum, pengelolaan kegugupan, kemampuan komunikasi sosial, dan kepercayaan diri. Peserta mampu mengorganisir pikiran mereka dengan lebih baik, menggunakan teknik komunikasi yang efektif, dan membangun hubungan yang baik dengan audiens. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu pelatihan public speaking ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi sosial peserta, dengan memberikan peningkatan dalam keterampilan berbicara di depan umum, pengelolaan kegugupan, dan kepercayaan diri. Hasil ini mendukung pentingnya kemampuan public speaking dalam meningkatkan komunikasi sosial individu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi peserta dalam kehidupan pribadi dan profesional mereka.

Abstract

Along with the development of fast food business time is also growing and increasing which makes the fast food business competition in Indonesia is becoming increasingly stringent. With this intense competition makes a fast food business continues to offer its products with a variety of innovations, especially in communicating with customers.improve communication skills, provide the best service as well, and meet all the needs required by its customers. It becomes interesting to examine, whether customer satisfaction can be improved by an interpersonal communication conducted by a fast food employee to its customers. This study aims to determine the Interpersonal communication of Mc Donald's employees in improving customer satisfaction at Mc Donald's Karang Satria. This study uses interpersonal communication theory from Devito with dimensions of openness, empathy, support, positivity, similarity and also uses customer satisfaction theory from Indrasari with dimensions of Product Quality, Service Quality, emotional, price and cost. This study uses qualitative research methods with interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that interpersonal communication of mc Donald's employees in improving customer satisfaction has been running well in all dimensions, but there are three dimensions that are still not done well, namely related to positivity, service quality and product quality. The conclusion of the study showed that interpersonal communication plays an important role in improving customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran game edukasi berbasis mobile dalam meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis sumber literatur terkait topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi berbasis mobile efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui elemen permainan yang menarik dan tantangan belajar yang disajikan secara interaktif. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa menjadi lebih antusias dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, game edukasi berbasis mobile juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Dalam lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, siswa memiliki kesempatan untuk mengasah pemahaman mereka terhadap materi pelajaran melalui percobaan, simulasi, dan tantangan dalam lingkungan virtual yang aman. Fleksibilitas dan aksesibilitas game edukasi berbasis mobile memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk belajar di luar lingkungan kelas tradisional. Namun, tantangan seperti desain game yang efektif, integrasi dalam kurikulum, dan dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan orangtua perlu diperhatikan agar penggunaan game edukasi berbasis mobile dapat dioptimalkan. Selain itu, perlu dihindari potensi ketergantungan yang berlebihan pada teknologi dengan menjaga keseimbangan antara interaksi sosial dan pembelajaran luar kelas. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan yang berharga dalam memahami peran game edukasi berbasis mobile dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran siswa. Diharapkan temuan ini dapat diimplementasikan oleh pendidik dan lembaga pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan menarik bagi siswa di era teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Pelatihan "Penggunaan Aplikasi Mendeley Dalam Penyusunan Karya Tulis Ilmiah" dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada 17 April 2023, dengan peserta dari berbagai kalangan termasuk mahasiswa, dosen, dan guru. Tujuan utama pelatihan adalah meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang pengelolaan referensi dan keterampilan dalam merancang karya tulis ilmiah yang berkualitas. Hasil dari pelatihan ini mencakup peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan Mendeley, peningkatan efisiensi dalam proses penulisan, peningkatan kualitas karya tulis ilmiah, dan penyebaran ilmu pengetahuan yang lebih luas melalui publikasi dan pertukaran informasi. Selain itu, terbentuknya jaringan kolaborasi antar peserta dari berbagai latar belakang dan peningkatan literasi digital juga menjadi dampak positif dari kegiatan ini. Saran untuk kegiatan serupa di masa depan meliputi diversifikasi materi, dukungan pasca-pelatihan, dan peningkatan promosi. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat nyata dalam dunia akademis dan penelitian, mempersiapkan peserta untuk menjadi lebih terampil dalam mengelola referensi dan penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah.
