Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the implementation of the Hidayatus Shibyan Muhafadzoh method for students and 2). Application of the Hidayatus Shibyan Muhafadzoh method in improving students' reading skills. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study model. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This research was conducted at MI Al Rosyid Bojonegoro with a population of 165 students and 34 students in class 3 as a sample. The results of this study indicate that learning the Koran using the Hidayatus Shibyan Book Muhafadzoh method to improve students' reading skills is well implemented. The application of the Muhafadzoh Hidayatus Shibyan MI Al Rosyid method is by 1. Murojaah nadhom before class begins. 2. The teacher gives several questions to several students 3. The teacher explains the material associated with the Koran, 4. The teacher gives assignments to students and gives limits on the verses that will be memorized and before the lesson ends, the teacher gives reinforcement to students. With learning like this, students' reading skills of the Koran are increasing day by day. So that the Muhafadzoh method of Hidayatus Shibyan's book is categorized as being able to improve students' reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of lesson planning in improving teaching quality. Lesson planning is a very important role to improve the quality of teaching, because in it there are many possibilities for teachers to develop learning strategies that are more active and more efficient. This research uses library research methods, methods carried out by searching for data and information through sources available in libraries, such as books, magazines, documents, historical records, or other research relevant to the object of research, which in this study discusses the role of lesson planning in improving teaching quality. In this study we will find out how lesson planning can improve the quality of teaching by improving the teacher's ability to develop material, increase student participation, and improve learning outcomes. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of education and improve the quality of teaching.

Abstract

The concept of freedom to learn is in line with the philosophy of humanism, which prioritizes human values and believes that humans have the right and freedom to think and act in whatever way they choose. Paulo Freire is a figure who initiated humanist education, which is famous for its liberating education concept. The educational philosophy of humanism and freedom to learn made by the Minister of Education and Culture has comfort. The purpose of this study is to present Paulo Freire's views on the concept of freedom to learn and the relevance of Paulo Freire's views on humanist philosophy to the concept of freedom to learn from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The article uses qualitative and descriptive research. A literature review is used to collect data, which comes from the scientific literature that is relevant to the research subject. The study produced the idea of freedom to learn as well as a humanist philosophy that emphasizes the freedom, independence, and adaptability of an educational institution in determining student needs. As learning subjects and controls, students play an important role in education. As a fundamental model for arousing student interest and cultivating a positive learning environment, this idea provides freedom, hands-on experience, creativity, and positive attitudes and perceptions.

Abstract

This article explores the design and implementation of Gender Fair Education as a counter-feminization of poverty movement in women's schools in Gresik Regency. Based on data from women and gender observers, poverty studies have not paid sufficient attention to the gender dimension of poverty. It was from these data that the expression “women are the poorest of the poor” and the term “feminization of poverty” arose. This article is the result of qualitative-explorative research with a phenomenological approach and data retrieval through observations, interviews, documentation, and focus group discussion. The findings showed that gender-fair education as a counter-feminizationof the poverty movement was designed through the Gender Watch program. It is a women's empowerment program through the establishment of women's schools with gender-fair education materials as the curriculum. The implementation of gender-fair education is manifested through the establishment of women's schools in villages in Gresik Regency. The program like this is important to be replicated in other places as an effort to achieve gender equality and justice.

Abstract

Latarbelakang dari penilitian ini adalah kurangnya keterlibatan stakeholder dalam perencanaan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni membahas lebih detail mengenai seberapa berperannya stakeholder dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Library Research atau kajian pustaka yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber pustaka seperti buku, jurnal, artikel, dan dokumen lainnya yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini adalah tentang peran kepala sekolah dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran sebab bermutunya suatu sekolah tergantung kinerja kepala sekolah dalam merancang ataupun mengonsep pembelajaran. Peran Waka Kurikulum dalam perecanaan pembelajaran memastikan bahwa kurikulum dikembangkan secara terus-menerus dan proses belajar mengajar berjalan dengan baik. Peran guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran yakni melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan berdasarkan pada perencanaan pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter siswa. Peran dari stakeholder tersebut dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang bermutu baik untuk peserta didik maupun lembaga pendidikan sendiri.

Abstract

Implementation of the Pancasila student profile is able to strengthen personality and develop skills, take responsibility and train problem-solving abilities and deal with problems in the environment. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila Students in the independent curriculum and analyze the creative dimensions at the Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya elementary school. This research uses qualitative methods and data analysis is descriptive. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile project to increase student creativity based on the independent curriculum in elementary schools is based on the Pancasila student profile with the dimensions of Faith and Devotion to God as well as Noble Character, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independence, Critical Reasoning and Creativity through activities intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular learning which aims to build the character of students. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile project in increasing student creativity based on the independent curriculum at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya is carried out through various activities and implemented in various school activity programs to provide a positive impact on student growth.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the application of edutainment methods at Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya Elementary School in developing 21st century skills in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research that uses a case study approach. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model combined with data triangulation. The research results show that the application of the edutainment method in developing 21st century skills is carried out through several techniques, namely games, role playing, demonstrations, storytelling with music/singing, field trips, final project projects. Apart from that, it is also realized in various school activity programs, such as outdoor learning, guest teacher, outbound activity, character camp, assembly learning, entrepreneur week, creative festival and final assignment projects. Edutainment has a good impact on student development, namely it can motivate students to master critical thinking and problem solving skills, creative, communicative, collaborative skills, honest, independent, responsible, religious and disciplined. The obstacles to implementing edutainment methods include lack of support and assistance from parents, limited time and energy from educators, lack of time to deliver learning material, not all teachers are able to present interesting lessons, and have storytelling or music skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of an independent curriculum in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith in Class 4 of MI Bilingual Maslakul Huda Lamongan. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach with a field research method. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The interview was conducted together with the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher of grade 4 MI Maslakul Huda. Data in the form of interviews, observations, and observations that have been collected are then analyzed with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the implementation of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning in grade 4 MI Maslakul Huda has used teaching modules in the planning process, and the implementation of learning is designed in groups to increase student interaction. At the evaluation stage, all questions used the HOTS type with C4-C6 indicators. The difference in the use of the independent curriculum in general with the bilingual independent curriculum in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject lies in the use of two languages in learning activities, namely English and Indonesian. Not only in learning activities but student handbooks and questions given to students also use English as a whole.

Abstract

Religious moderation through learning aqidah morals at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is an effort to form a young generation who has a balanced understanding of religion, is tolerant, and can interact with people across religions. In this research, researchers used a library study method which analyzed data in the form of text directly. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, as a basic Islamic educational institution, has a key role in forming children's character and moderate understanding of religion. In the context of learning moral beliefs at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, religious moderation is an important foundation for forming a young generation that is tolerant and capable of establishing harmonious relationships with various levels of society. By involving teachers, curriculum, and the school environment, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can become an educational institution that promotes religious moderation effectively and plays an important role in building a more inclusive and harmonious society.   Keywords: Religious Moderation, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

This research aims to identify the challenges faced by teachers in preparing learning plans for the Merdeka Curriculum. The Independent Curriculum which was inaugurated by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture through RI Decree No. 56/M/2022 provides flexibility in learning and requires significant adaptation from teachers. The main problems faced include teachers' lack of understanding of new concepts, difficulties in analyzing learning outcomes (CP), formulating learning objectives (TP), developing learning objective pathways (ATP), and developing teaching modules. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a type of library research, relying on data sources from literature such as articles, journals and books. The research results show that teachers still face obstacles in using technology to support learning, difficulties in linking lesson material with other knowledge, designing trigger questions, and providing effective feedback. Apart from that, the lack of clear assessment guidelines in formative and summative assessments is also an obstacle. Other obstacles are limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as the need for teachers to understand and implement differentiated learning. Greater support in the form of training and increased access to technological resources is needed to overcome these challenges. Thus, this research provides important insight into the obstacles faced in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and steps that can be taken to increase teacher readiness in implementing this curriculum.
