Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Instruksi penelitian adalah peneliti itu sendiri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan rekaman. Responden adalah tiga anak dengan rentang usia 2 hingga 5 tahun dan dua tutor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kedua tutor menggunakan teknik yang berbeda dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bercerita. Tutor A menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learing (CTL) dengan melibatkan anak-anak dalam memilih cerita, sementara tutor B menggunakan pendekatan konvensional (guru berpusat). Isi cerita disesuaikan dengan pengalaman anak-anak dari kehidupan sehari-hari mereka untuk perkembangan emosi, perkembangan sosial, dan perkembangan spiritual mereka, (2) Setiap anak memiliki pemahaman mendengarkan yang baik. Anak-anak dapat menjawab pertanyaan guru mengenai judul dan aktor dalam cerita, memahami cerita dan menceritakannya kembali dengan kata-kata mereka sendiri. Pemahaman mendengarkan anak-anak dapat dilihat sebagai berikut; ketika A (tutor) membawakan cerita, setiap anak diberi kesempatan yang sama untuk menjawab pertanyaan dan menceritakan kembali cerita, di sisi lain, B (tutor) hanya memberikan kesempatan kepada beberapa anak atau satu anak. (3) faktor penghambat dan pendukung pada pemahaman mendengarkan anak-anak pada awalnya dari tutor sebagai pendongeng, aspek cerita, anak-anak sebagai pendengar, dan situasi belajar.Kata-kata Kunci: Kemampuan Menyimak, Metode Bercerita, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. This study is qualitative research with a case study approach. The instrument of the research was the researcher herself. The data collection employed observation, interview, documentation, and recording methods. The respondents were three children with the age range of 2 to 5 years old and two tutors. The result of the research indicates that (1) The two tutors used different techniques in implementing the storytelling activity. Tutor A employed Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach by involving children in choosing the stories, while tutor B employed a conventional approach (teacher-centered). The content of the story was adjusted according to children’s experience from their daily lives for their emotional development, social development, and spiritual development, (2) Each child has good listening comprehension. Children were able to answer the teacher’s questions concerning the title and the actor in the story, comprehend the story, and retell it with their own words. The children’s listening comprehension could be seen as follows; when A (the tutor) conducted the story, each child was given the same opportunity to answer the questions and retell the story, on the other hand, B (the tutor) merely gave an opportunity to several children or one child. (3) The inhibiting and the supporting factors on children’s listening comprehension were initially from the tutor as a storyteller, the aspect of the story, the children as the listener, and the learning situation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages and rules of the game, as well as the values of character education contained in the traditional Balogo game from South Kalimantan Province. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were students who were in Kindergarten institutions ranging in age bfrom 6-7 years. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is processed through data reduction, data presentation, data classification, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the traditional Balogo game played by Kindergarten students aged 6-7 years consisted of 8 stages of the game and 8 game rules. The values ​​of character beducation in the Balogo game include: honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, love for the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, social bcare, and responsibility

Abstract

Writing, one of the productive skills, is a language skill teachers need to pay more attention to. When teaching her writing skills, the teacher must develop a learning model based on the student’s needs. This study aims to develop and test an academic writing learning model based on a process-genre approach to improve students’ critical thinking skills. Researchers use a research and design (R&D) approach related to 4D theory, which consists of four main phases: definition, design, development, and dissemination. The research was conducted at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten with participants from a student group, lecturers and two expert persons. This result indicates that the learning model using the process-genre approach proved to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. With these findings, each lecturer will be able to develop their learning model according to the needs of their students and lecturers so that they can support efforts to achieve their expected goals. Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan anak sejak dini harus dibarengi dengan upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik anak usia dini. Kompetensi tersebut adalah kompetensi pedagogik. Kompetensi mencakup kemampuan memahami perkembangan anak sehingga diharapkan guru PAUD dapat memberikan perlakuan dan pelayanan kepada setiap anak agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Usaha nyata oleh pemangku kepentingan adalah menyelenggarakan Diklat dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi guru. Perguruan tinggi sebagai lembaga pendidikan bermitra dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tana Toraja dan HIMPAUDI ( Himpunan Pendidik Anak Usia Dini) melaksanakan Diklat bagi guru PAUD se-Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Pelaksanaan diklat terdiri atas 5 tahapan yakni : tahap asesmen awal (post test), penyajian materi (metode ceramah dan presentasi) oleh narasumber, diskusi dengan peserta (tanya jawab), pemetaan kompetensi anak dan penyusunan RPP, dan asesmen akhir. Kegiatan diklat berlangsung selama 3 hari diikuti oleh guru PAUD se-Kabupaten Tana Toraja yang berjumlah 100 orang peserta. Dari kegiatan pengabdian ditemukan berdasarkan asesmen awal bahwa kompetensi guru masih perlu ditingkatkan dalam hal penguasaan konsep perkembangan 6 aspek pengembangan anak, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi hasil belajar anak. Selain aspek pengetahuan, peserta diklat juga dilatih memiliki kemampuan bekerja sama dan memiliki sikap tanggungjawab dalam kelompok. Memupuk kepercayaan diri peserta diklat untuk berani tampil mengemukakan ide dan pendapatnya. Sebagai luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, berdasarkan pembagian kelompok ada 10 pemetaan kompetensi anak dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh peserta diklat secara berkelompok. Hasil kerja kelompok peserta diklat ini akan menjadi bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas di lembaganya masing-masing.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengalaman kepada Kepala Sekolah dan Guru PAUD dalam menggunakan aplikasi platform merdeka mengajar. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan oleh penulis bekerja sama Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Pare-Pare. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah ketidaksiapan lembaga dalam mengakses aplikasi PMM dan menggunakan fitur-fitur yang ada didalamnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah berbagi informasi terkait Aplikasi Platform Merdeka Mengajar dan peserta mampu mengakses dan menyelesaikan topik serta modul hingga memahami cara mengupload aksi nyata. Mitra utama dalam pengabdian ini adalah Komunitas Gugus PAUD Binaan Kecamatan Ujung dan Kecamatan Soreang. Metode pendampingan ini terdiri atas tahap analisis kebutuhan mitra, pendampingan optimalisasi PMM dan evaluasi ketercapaian kegiatan. Hasil pendampingan diperoleh bahwa peserta dapat mengakses Platform Merdeka Mengajar, memiliki akun belajar, mengerjakan topik serta modul yang ada pada aplikasi PMM serta mengetahui cara meng-upload laporan.

Abstract

The natural environment provides a variety of stimuli to develop skills for direct observation and simple research for early childhood. They are invited to observe, identify patterns, collect data, and make conclusions based on evidence obtained through scientific procedures. These skills are essential in the scientific method and strengthen a child's scientific abilities. This study aimed to determine the skills of children's science processes when playing outdoors. This experimental research with a type of quasi-experimental design, using samples of students in group B of Taman Paud Doa Ibu Kindergarten, totaling 20 students. The results showed that outdoor play activities improved students' scientific abilities with indicators of children's ability to observe, compare, and classify. The results of this study also show that children's enthusiasm for learning and give birth to children's feelings of curiosity are very high.

Abstract

This community service program is to increase the knowledge and skills of teachers and prospective teachers in making learning media that are not available at school. The service activities were carried out by the author in collaboration with students of the PE Study Program at Megarezky University. The main problem of partners is the limited learning media for athletic sports, namely relay running and hurdling. The purpose of this activity is the availability of learning media that is in accordance with the needs and developmental characteristics of school-age children. This mentoring method consists of the stages of analyzing partner needs, media making assistance and evaluation. The results of the assistance obtained that the media produced were declared practical by Physical Education practitioners so that they were suitable for use by elementary school students. After evaluating the use of media on 27 students of class VI elementary school, it was found that 21 students (77.77%) could use the media well, and 6 students (22.22%) still needed further enrichment and assistance from the teacher (moderate category).

Abstract

Anak didik yang memiliki kemampuan motorik yang baik akan memiliki kepercayaan diri dalam interakasi sosialnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak didik dengan kegiatan senam irama. Sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu mengambil seluruh populasi anak didik di kelompok B TK Taman Paud Doa Ibu yang berjumlah 30 anak didik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriftif dan inferensial parametrik dengan uji indepent sampel t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan senam irama dapat meningkatkan  keterampilan  motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun pada indikator kemampuan anak dalam melakukan melakukan gerakan kepala, badan, tangan dan kaki, yang dilakukan secara terkoordinasi  dalam menirukan berbagai gerakan. gerakan serta melenturkan sendi dan ototnya, mengkoordinasikan lengan dan kaki.

Abstract

This research is research and development which aims to describe the level of need, prototype description, validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Design, Explain, Development, and Evaluation - Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in stimulating early childhood creativity. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential data analysis. The research procedure begins with the investigation, design, realization, and test-evaluation-revision phases. The description of the needs analysis results shows that teachers need practical and effective learning models to stimulate children's creativity. The prototype description in the form of a model book and teacher's manual has been improved three times based on the input of expert validators and practitioners. It produces the DEDEn-PjBL model that can stimulate children's creativity. The results of the content validity test and the device's validity for all aspects are in the minimal category of "valid," so the DEDEn-PjBL model in stimulating children's creativity is declared valid. The results of the practicality test through the teacher's response questionnaire for all aspects are in the minimal category of "good," and the instrument for observing the implementation of the model shows that the average percentage of all aspects for five meetings is P >70% so that the DEDEn-PjBL model in stimulating children's creativity is declared practical. The effectiveness test results began with analyzing the pretest and post-test score data, which increased from the "low" to "very high" category. The data tested for normality with pretest results of 0.067 > Sig. 0.05 and posttest results in 0.081 > Sig. 0.05 so that the data is "normally distributed" after a hypothesis test, which shows the result tcount (14.714) > ttable (2.145), H0 rejected, and H1 accepted with a value of Sig. 0.00 > 0.05, which indicates that there is an influence of the DEDEn-PjBL model in stimulating children's creativity. The next step is the result of the mean N Gain Score is 0.7188 in the "high" category and a percentage value of 71.88% in the "quite effective" category. The N Gain test results show that the DEDEn-PjBL model is "quite effective" in stimulating children's creativity.
