Abstract

Chrysanthemum including ornamental plant commodities are much-loved community. Chrysanthemum has a high economic value and potential to be developed. The diversity of morphological and anatomical characters is not currently widely practiced. This study aims to determine the morphological and anatomical characteristics of C. morifolium Ramat. var. puspitanusantara, and var. tirtaayuni and C. indicum L. var. mustikakaniya. Sampling by purposive random. The study was conducted in May - June 2017 in Kenteng Village, Bandungan District, Semarang District. The results showed that the results showed that C. morifolium Ramat var. puspitanusantara and var. tirtaayuni and C. indicum L. var. mustikakaniya have variations of morphology, especially on leaves and flowers, variations in leaf organ form, and base. Variations of flowering organs include the number of flowers per stem, the number of ribbon flowers, and the freshness of the flower. Anatomical characters based on tissue arrangement of stem and leaf organs have similarities.

Abstract

The young generation is a development asset in the future, but many young people do not put their interest in cultivation. Especially the students of MA Manahijul Huda Ngagel who motivated by the low level of student interest on cultivation activities because the perception of students about farming is identical to the soil, dirty, requires a lot of energy, hot-pine under the sun and other things that make students reluctant to plunge In cultivation activities. The purpose of this research is to know the increase of farming interest of MA Manahijul Huda Ngagel Dukuhseti Pati students using hydroponic technology after treatment. The research method used in this research is qualitative by using descriptive analysis. The focus of this research is to focus on the interest of farming students through hydroponics. The data is taken with several methods, among others: observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The result of the research shows that the interest of farming students MA Manahijul Huda Ngagel Dukuhseti Pati increased after treatment, seen from the questionnaire value which increased by 6.03% from 79.17 to 85.2 with very good category. Increased interest in farming is also supported by the observation result of 12.4 with good category, interview and documentation that get the same result.

Abstract

Tikus dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan.

Abstract

Baturraden Botanical Garden (KRB) is a conservation area both ex-situ and in-situ of various plants in the Slamet Mountain area. KRB plays a role in saving various types of plants, one of which is the type of bamboo in the area is rarely updated data. This study aims to inventory which is used in evaluating data on the number and types of bamboo that are in the KRB collection. The study uses descriptive qualitative methods which include exploration, morphological observation, and measurement of environmental factors. Based on field data collection, 40 bamboo specimens were obtained in 17 species, of which there were 7 specimens from 5 species that have not been identified while 33 other specimens belong to 12 different species and 8 genera. The eight clans are Bambusa, Cephalostachyu, Chimonobambus, Dinochloa, Gigantochloa, Melocanna, Schizostachyum, and Semiarundinaria. Schizostachyum caudatum Backer ex K. Hene, Melocanna baccifera (Roxb.) Kurz, Bambusa multiplex (Lour.) Raeusch. ex Schult. is the most commonly found bamboo. Morphological observations included roots, reeds, leaves and midribs. Environmental factors of the Baturraden Botanical Gardens in VAK III.B.I and VAK III.B.II meet the requirements for the growth and propagation of bamboo collections.

Abstract

Ulolanang Kecubung Nature Reserve in Batang Regency is a lowland forest type with a relatively high level of plant species biodiversity, so it is possible to find many macrofungi types in it. This study aimed to provide information about the biodiversity of microscopic fungi in CA Ulolanang Kecubung, and its potential future uses. Macroscopic mushroom type data collection was carried out by exploration method, namely exploring the randomly represented area, then continued by recording the number of individuals and sample documentation. Macro fungi were collected in the area of CA Ulolanang Kecubung on pal 22 - 43. Identification of macrofungi was carried out at LIPI Cibinong Bogor using macroscopic characters. Information on its use as food (edible or non-edible) and other potentials is obtained through interviews with key persons and literature studies. A total of 5 types of fungi have been successfully obtained and identified, including (1) Marasmeillus sp., (2) Amauroderma sp., (3) Termitomycetes sp., (4) Ascomycota cookiena, and (5) Pleurotus ostreatus. Each fungus has potential as (1) decomposers, (2) a cancer drug composition, (3) gastrointestinal infection drugs, (4) traditional medicine, (5) Antioxidant and hepatoprotective.
