Abstract

Mahir Pradana; The search for as much information as possible is needed to achieve maximum results in a management process. Information is also needed as a source of evaluation of the development of an organization, institutions, companies, and departments. Thus, the management process is inseparable from the use of information systems, which is a set of components that are interconnected, collect, process the store, and distribute information to support decision-making and control in an organization. One of the interesting phenomena of the development of Information and Communication Technology is the internet as a new medium that can not be separated from the life of todays modern society. New media like the Internet is a medium that can shift traditional media such as television, radio, because new media is interactive so the demand by many people. Internet as a medium of communication that people show interest because of several advantages such as easy, quick and precise. Based on hypothesis testing simultaneously be concluded Ha accepted because the F count larger than F table (28 183> 3:09), which means Usability Quality, Information Quality and Service Interaction Quality simultaneously influence customer satisfaction. As for testing the hypothesis Partial be concluded. Ha accepted, due to the variable Quality Usability own value t is greater than t table (2,724> 2,722), which means Usability Quality proven effect on user satisfaction, and the Information Quality variable t is not greater than t table (-821 2.722),which means the Service Interaction Quality proven effect on user satisfaction Keywords: E-Commerce, User Satisfaction, Consumer Behavior

Abstract

Today, Indonesian people in urban areas has strong engagement to internet. Almost every activities are necessarily involves the internet and information technology. So, no wonder if the internet now are very demanding to society. This phenomena also arising the enablement of business that using internet as main platform or known as e-commerce. E-commerce is defined as the process of purchasing, sales, transfer or exchange products, services or information via computer network over the internet. With business activity in e-commerce, it can be extending activity and reach consumers more easily. Also the process of transactions are so far in nature conventional modernized by providing online transaction. This article is intended to analyze and discuss about the types of business e-commerce in Indonesia based on the phenoimena and development of the theory underlying information system. Abstract

For an e-commerce company, a reliable website is a basic requirement in the expansion of its business. This study aimed to describe the level of quality that is perceived by customers of an e-commerce website in Indonesia, based on the judgment of the actual quality and perceived quality developed from Website Quality (WebQual) theory. This research employs WebQual dimensions namely usability, information quality, and service interaction to be further analyzed by using Gap Analysis method. The research was done by spreading questionnaires to 100 respondents in Bandung, Indonesia, to determine what are the factors determining website quality of Shopee Indonesia. The result shows that overall there are value gaps between the actual quality (performance) and ideal quality (importance) of the website.   Keywords: E-Commerce; Website Quality; Information Technology; Online business

Abstract

The study focuses on the entrepreneurship education at a private business school in Indonesia due to the accelerate impact through the country economy that by implementing entrepreneurship education, one of the factors driving entrepreneurial growth in a country is the higher education institutions' role. The study took places at Telkom University, Indonesia, by surveying 458 business school students. The data analysed using a path analysis technique with SmartPLS ver. 3. Our result shows that the factors affecting entrepreneurial orientation show significant and positive effects which eventually cause a similar effect on entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, higher education institutions, especially business schools, should consider these factors as driving forces towards entrepreneurial intention. Practical implications for the development of the entrepreneurship curriculum also drawn in this study.

Abstract

Training is an activity that has an important role for human resources in order to increase knowledge and skills both for human resources who are preparing to enter the workforce, also for human resources who have worked so that their capabilities are always maintained in order to secure existence or to career advancement. From this research, we try to analyze the gap between perceptions and expectations of the training program in from the perspectives of the participants. The population of this study are 61 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railway Company) who were training participants at the Operations and Marketing Training Center. We analyzed the data by applying the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Based on the results of the research and descriptive analysis of the services received, the satisfaction of the operational training program is quite satisfying but there is still a difference between reality and employee expectations.

Abstract

This research is designed to determine the factors influencing the purchase intention of Indonesian students, mainly in Bandung city, toward foreign-branded local foods. Purchase intention is explained with several variables: normative influence, brand consciousness, perceived quality, and emotional value. The result is summarized in this paper, which provides a critical review of the existing literatures, focusing especially on the question of whether foreign tags or names of products mostly appeal to students as buyers. The methodological approach is described by using exploratory factor analysis.

Abstract

Indonesian people, especially those living in urban areas, are inseparable from the Internet, because almost all activities involve internet and information technology. Thus, no wonder if the internet has become a basic requirement for some people, especially those who use the internet for business purposes (e-commerce). E-commerce is defined as the process of buying, selling, transferring or exchanging products, services or information through computer networks via the internet. With e-commerce as business activities, the company can expand and reach consumers more easily. They can also process conventional transactions to be more modern with the availability of online transactions. Collective society, for example in Asian countries such as India and Indonesia, depend more social interaction than those who live in the individualistic-oriented community. Connecting the characteristics of Indonesian society with the types of business interactions, more or less variations of e-commerce business in Indonesia can be divided into several types, namely listings, shopping mall, marketplace, online stores, online stores on social media and crowdsourcing / crowdfunding. Abstract

Pada saat ini, kegunaan aplikasi menjadi primadona tersendiri bagi perusahaan dalam memasarkan, mengenalkan produk/jasa suatu perusahaan. Sehingga muncullah aplikasi-aplikasi di Indonesia. Salah satu aplikasi yang mengikuti tren ini  adalah Uber taksi. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peminat tingkat  kualitas aplikasi Uber berdasarkan penilaian pengguna terhadap kualitas (actual) yang dirasakan dan kualitas (ideal)  yang diharapkan.  Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan dimensi TAM yaitu persepsi kemanfaatan, persepsi kemudahan, minat pengguna yang dinilai berdasarkan perspektif tingkat kinerja  (performance) dan tingkat kepentingan (importance).  Responden yang diteliti  dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 pengguna dengan menggunakan teknik sampling insidental.            Dari  penelitian ini  didapatkan hasil  bahwa  secara  keseluruhan terdapat nilai  kesenjangan (gap) yang bernilai negatif antara kualitas aktual (performance) dan kualitas ideal (importance) sebesar (-0.12). Nilai  kesenjangan (gap) paling besar adalah dimensi  information  quality dengan nilai  (-0.28). Berdasarkan hal  tersebut  dapat  disimpulkan bahwa  kualitas  aktual  yang dirasakan belum bisa  memenuhi  kualitas ideal  yang diinginkan pengguna  aplikasi Uber terutama  dari  atribut  kualitas  yang berhubungan  dengan facilitating condition dalam aplikasi. Indikator yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan diantaranya adalah tampilan aplikasi yang menarik,  adanya  pengalaman positif saat  menggunakan,  informasi  dalam format  yang sesuai  dan memiliki reputasi yang baik.
