Abstract

The development of Islamic businesses has significantly increased recently. One of them is the beauty salon of Muslimah Zhafira. This objective of this study is to describe what concept the business of the beauty salon of Muslimah Zhafira is and how the ethical values of Islamic business implemented. This is a qualitative research which was conducted in natural setting through observation and interview. The findings show that the management staff and the owner of it understand how a business is not only about getting money, but it is also to get the blessings from Allah SWT. It is done by implementing the Islamic principles, that is, a business should be not only money-oriented benefits, but it should be also non-material benefits, development, continuity, and blessings. The implications of the Islamic ethical business is the implementation of transparency in the accounting and financial reports as stated in Islam to work professionally. The production management uses halal material, safe place, and standardized process, so that this system could be applied efficiently to give a wealthy to the owners and to those who involve in this business. Human resources management of beauty salon of muslimah Zhafira make the staffs enjoy and feel fair in terms of the salary system. This condition fits to the Islamic value, that is, Islam orders good cooperation to reach a win-win benefit. The marketing management of beauty salon of muslimah Zhafira applies family-based system by trying hard to fulfill the customers’ need. It also applies spiritual marketing strategy by implementing the Islamic akhlak.

Abstract

The improvement of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia has been grown rapidly. The alternative form such as Baitul Mal wat Tamwil (BMT) is needed to serve this group. The interesting point of BMT is that institution has any relationship with the Cooperative Departement of Indonesia, because the majority of BMTs are based on cooperative form. There were relevant basic concept relationships between cooperatie and BMT management but there was a fundamental different between ooperative and BMTs that is the practice of “Riba”.

Abstract

Zakat is a system unique in the history of humanity that only exist in Islam. Zakat is not only about worship but includes the financial system, economic, social, political as well as moral. Zakat has the function of the economy in alleviating poverty charity even give a significant influence on the macro economy. BAZNAS stated that the potential of zakat in Indonesia is estimated to reach Rp 217 fantastic trillion a year but in 2011 newly collected Rp. 1.8 Trillion. Potential of zakat which are yet to be excavated to the maximum so that has not been able to alleviate poverty in Indonesia because of a lack of professional management. Here the role of the state is required in managing zakat. This role can be achieved if there is a reorientation of the understanding and management of zakat zakat zakat can be empowered to be optimal. It needs a dynamic synergy between government and society in optimizing alms role in alleviating poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

In Islamic jurisprudence, the contract of pawn is called as rahn meaning to deposit something as security for a loan. Rahn initially was used to accomplish the transaction of loan by means of qard. In its development as practiced by Syariah Pawnbroker, another form of contract in rahn has been employed, i.e. mudharabah. When a costumer decided to use mudharabah in the rahn contract, the rahn functions to save up article deposited as for future use. The Syariah Pawnbroker then serves as investor, while the customer serves as businessman.

Abstract

Islam commands work as worship to seek sustenance from God in order to meet their needs. Work to obtain sustenance halalan thayiban included in jihad fi sabilillah whose value is equal to implement the pillars of Islam. Working in the view of Islam is not just a work or work carelessly. But there are values that must be considered and practiced by every Muslim who works. These values is ihsan (good), jiddiyah (integrity), and itqan (professional). The professionalism of the Prophet Muhammad in business clung to his nature and the nature of his virtues which Siddiq, amanah, fathanah and istiqamah. Siddiq properties are trustworthy and honest. Fathonah nature is to be smart. The nature of amanah is to carry out the tasks assigned and tablig are capable of doing good communication and constancy is firm stance and not easily discouraged. Professionals equated with Itqan. Itqan means doing at the best possible quality. Work professionally (Itqan) means devoting the best minds, the best focus, the best coordination, the best spirit and the best raw materials that are expected to produce the best as well. The best quality we have to do in all aspects of life, including in business. Prophet has declared the importance of quality in the work and serve. Business is the process of selling the works, products and services. The quality of our work will determine the reciprocation of our business. For that build professional attitude in business is very important in order to get the best results.

Abstract

The study aims is to show how the zakat management in the covid-19 pandemic era. Amil zakat institutions need to make innovation in term of zakat management, both collection and distribution of zakat itself, one of them is related to the digitization of zakat management. This research analysed with a qualitative approach. The results showed that East Kalimantan LAZ DPU had innovated in terms of zakat management by utilizing digital technology both in the collection and distribution of ZIS funds. In the distribution of ZIS funds, it was directed at handling the impact of covid-19 for Mustahik to help Mustahik economic difficulties through regular programs in the field of humanity, da'wah, health, economy, and education. In addition, some special programs were also added, namely helping medical personnel by providing personal protective equipment, the best frontline nutrition program, providing basic food supply for the dhuafa, and empowering students and teachers during this pandemic. This research show that LAZ do an action in humanity specially in pandemic era

Abstract

Today women's empowerment is seen as an essential component in development and poverty reduction. Women's empowerment makes women independent and confident. They will have the ability to turn their choices into desirable actions, which will lead to the emergence of economic, political, social, and psychological empowerment. One way of empowering women is through community or group (self-help groups). Women's empowerment through this community is in Baking Lovers Community (BLC) Samarinda, a community of women who have similar hobbies that are culinary fields with home businesses that they run. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The study was conducted on the home- based culinary business community incorporated at Baking Lovers Community of Samarinda City. This research aims to find out the economic empowerment program in the BLC community, how the impact of empowerment on the development of culinary businesses in the city of Samarinda, and what obstacles they face in the empowerment of women in the community. Data collection techniques are conducted with Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews with BLC administrators and members, and documentation. Validity data using triangulation. As for data analysis using the Miles and Huberman models, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The economic empowerment program in BLC's is of various training to improve members' culinary skills, such as training together with baking cakes, bringing in chefs, photography training to support product promotion, product promotion on Social Media Fb and Instagram, sharing culinary recipes, social activities and charity bazaars, facilitating members to take care of business licenses and halal certification of products. The business potential developed is making the various artificial types of cakes and food, both modern and traditional, for multiple events, catering, and buffets. The empowerment programs of BLC are to be as a source of income, hobby development, knowledge sharing, business continuity, product innovation, packaging and brand innovation, and digital marketing development. Thus, this empowers them as subjects/actors actively involved in the story, empowered to manage businesses independently, and organizations that accommodate them play a role in charge. The obstacles faced are the uneven ability of human resources, capital to develop companies, business licensing, and halal certification.

Abstract

Wanita awalnya hanya dikaitkan tentang urusan di dalam rumah dan tidak bisa mengeksplore dengan bebas tentang hal-hal yang berada di luar rumah. Namun kemajuan jaman telah mengubah banyak pandangan tentang wanita. Kemudian karena adanya perkembangan jaman dan emansipasi, kini wanita memperoleh hak yang sama dengan laki-laki. Salah satunya wanita memiliki kesempatan untuk dapat memberikan kontribusi mengenai pendapatan pada keluarganya melalui perannya dengan bekerja di ranah publik. Karna saat ini semakin banyak wanita yang ikut berperan dalam dunia kerja guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarganya dari sisi pendapatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan muslimah bekerja terhadap kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga. Hasil penelitia n menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga (Y) dipengaruhi oleh pendapatan muslimah yang bekerja (X) sebesar 72,7%, dan sisanya (27,3%), dipengaruhi oleh faktor atau variabel lain di luar penelitian.

Abstract

Business with all that stuff going on in people's lives every day widely. Many businesses and the variety of motifs and business orientation as well as the increasing complexity of business problems, sometimes making businesses stuck to try anything to achieve its goal, especially if the goal is only for profit and profit alone. So frequent negative actions, which eventually becomes a habit in business behavior. If so, it is not uncommon for businesses identified with the dirty deed, because there are behaviors lying, treasonous, broken promises, deception and deceiving others. This article describes the business in the Islamic approach that includes the Islamic business concept, the principles of Islamic business and normative foundation of Islamic business. Islamic business must be based on Islamic ethics derived from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. Generally, business ethics is a normative discipline, whereby particular ethical standards are formulated and then applied. It makes specific judgments about what is right or wrong, which is to say, it makes claims about what ought to be done or what ought not to be done.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of amil management in LAZ Dana Peduli Ummat (DPU) East Kalimantan. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, by conducting in-depth interviews with Amil LAZ DPU Kaltim in Samarinda, Kutai Kartanegara, and Balikpapan. The data validity was performed using the triangulation method, and data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the application of amil management in LAZ DPU East Kalimantan were; In the recruitment of amil, HR planning is carried out and the determination of amil's criteria. The work agreement applies the signing of the integrity fact. For the coaching and development of amil, 3 months of training are held for new amil, SDB program (Greetings DPU Blessings) every morning in the early hours of work, CURGAS (Talk of Ideas), Fiqh Zakat School, Training both inside and outside. For performance assessment using KPI (Key Performance Indicator) instrument which is audited internally and externally. While the compensation given is in the form of basic salary, food allowance, health, family, transportation and bonuses. To strengthen Human Resources, four basic principles are applied, namely: the Abdullah and Khalifah principles, justice, organizational goals and individual goals of human resources, and references to the character of the Prophet Muhammad: shiddiq, amanah, fathanah and tabligh. Apart from that, Amil's coaching is also based on values; kafa'ah, amanah and himmatul 'amal.
