Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the feasibility and rate of return of education investment at higher education. The design of this research uses a descriptive-comparative with a quantitative approach. The population consists of 491 respondents at the Department Education Administration, Faculty of Education, State University of Malang. The sample was determined 123 respondents use a purposive random sampling technique. Data were collected used questionnaires in Google Form and analyzed used descriptive-comparative and rate of return techniques. This research shows that the alumni's investment in this Department can be said feasible. Besides, the alumni’s rate of return has differences based on study period and gender.Abstrak: Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan tingkat pengembalian investasi pendidikan alumni Program Studi Administrasi Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif-komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi terdiri dari 491 orang dan ditetapkan sampel sejumlah 123 orang dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk Google Form, dan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif-komparatif serta rate of return. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa investasi yang dilakukan alumni di Prodi Administrasi Pendidikan FIP UM dapat dikatakan layak. Di samping itu, tingkat pengembalian investasi alumni berbeda berdasarkan masa studi dan jenis kelamin.

Abstract

his study aimed to improve rough motoric skills through cheerful gymnastics in group B2 at Lestari Kindergarten, Palopo City. The problem at Lestari Kindergarten in Palopo City was that children's rough motoric skills have not developed well. The method used in this research was classroom action research (CAR) with 14 children. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study on increasing rough motoric skills through cheerful gymnastics in group B2 at Lestari Kindergarten show that the pre-cycle was 52%, the first cycle was 55.7, and at the second cycle developed very well 79.7%.

Abstract

Higher Education is one government institution that implements the bureaucratic reform program through the Zone of Integrity (ZI) development program. ZI planning towards a Corruption Free Area (known as WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (known as WBBM) was conducted at the Faculty of Education (FIP) of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), which is committed to implementing WBK/WBBM. In implementing ZI, synergy, and commitment are needed between the leadership and the entire academic community. One of the components in realizing ZI is the optimal quality of public services for both internal and external parties. The research used survey that sent to 200 participants. Then, 15 questionnaires were constructed and the results were analyzed. The survey results related to internal public services in supporting the implementation of the integrity zone of the Faculty of Education, State University of Gorontalo, are in the satisfactory category as seen from 15 indicators of public services, nine items in the satisfactory category, followed by five very satisfactory categories. This shows that the public services provided are in the good category, but improvements in several aspects must still be carried out.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa yang ditinjau dari: (1) kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa; (2) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa; (3) kemampuan guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis pendekatan eksplanatori. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebesar 65 orang guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan formula persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa berada pada kategori baik; (2) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa berada pada kategori baik; (3) kemampuan guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran berbasis e-learning di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract

Professional development is claimed by teachers as urgent, considering that the profession itself refers to a concrete manifestation of a combination of educational legislation, pedagogical theory, and practice in schools. This research aims to analyze the effect of pre-service and in-service education on teacher professionalism. This type of research is qualitative. This study uses a mixed methods approach with a concurrent transformative strategy model. The population includes 251 school principals. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling by distributing questionnaires to 202 returning schools. Data was collected through questionnaires, written tests, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and interpretive descriptive models. The results of the data analysis are; first, the influence of pre-service education is significant and positive on teacher leadership. Likewise, the effect on professionalism was also substantial and positive. Second, in-service education is known to significantly and positively impact teacher leadership and professionalism. Third, teacher leadership was found to significantly and positively affect professionalism. It was concluded that pre and service education completely and significantly affected professionalism through teacher leadership. The results of this study can be used as a guideline for increasing teacher professionalism in terms of leadership.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja pegawai, yaitu (1) kualitas kerja, dan (2) kuantitas kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan jumlah responden 35 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa; (1) Kualitas kerja pegawai meliputi: (a) kesesuaian antara kemampuan diri dengan tupoksi di unit kerja, (b) kemampuan bekerja di unit kerja, (c) kemampuan dalam mengerjakan tugas secara mandiri/tanpa bantuan orang lain, (d) kemampuan mengatasi masalah pekerjaan secara mandiri, (e) kemampuan dalam mengerjakan/menyelesaikan tugas sesuai dengan komitmen, dan (f) kepatuhan menjalankan tugas sesuai aturan kerja berada pada kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 83,66%; (2) Kuantitas kerja pegawai meliputi: (a) pencapaian terhadap target yang harus dikerjakan/ diselesaikan di kantor, (b) kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan semua tugas yang harus diselesaikan/dikerjakan, (c) jumlah pekerjaan yang terselesaikan, (d) kemampuan dalam menggunakan peralatan kantor, (e) kecepatan kerja dalam memanfaatkan peralatan kerja kantor, dan (f) kemampuan penggunaan waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas/pekerjaan berada pada kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 83,12%. Secara keseluruhan, kategori kinerja pegawai berada pada kategori baik dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 83,39%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, beberapa saran yang dapat dikemukakan yaitu diharapkan kepada pegawai untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya supaya bisa menjadi pegawai yang berprestasi dan meningkatkan pengetahuannya sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaan di unit kerjanya. Selain itu, diharapkan kepada pegawai untuk datang di kantor tepat waktu dan mengupayakan untuk senantiasa menyelesaikan pekerjaan sebelum waktu yang telah diberikan.
