Abstract

Teacher competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized, and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Teacher competencies as learning agents at the primary and secondary education levels as well as early childhood education are: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies. With skill requirements, a teacher must master the skills covering: opening and closing lessons, asking questions, providing reinforcement, and conducting various teaching. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher also acts as a director as well as an actor. This factor is very important so that it is expected to determine the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The type of research used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative type of research. The results of the study obtained that the competence possessed by a teacher in teaching greatly affects the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of field visits in various jobs in social studies learning, because they should acquire knowledge in understanding different social environments at different places and times, both individually and in groups to find their interests which can ultimately form a good community environment. And harmonious. There are three objectives for the achievement of social studies learners, namely; The first is the development of students’ intellectual abilities, the second is the development of the ability to sense responsibility as members of the community and citizens, and the third is as a student’s personal developer

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji sisi urgen dari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan bagi generasi muda. Konteks yang terjadi karena generasi muda berada dalam situasi krisis identitas. Generasi muda ada dalam kesulitan mengambil keputusan dalam menyelesaikan masalah baik secara pribadi, dalam lingkungan keluarga, dan dalam relasi dalam masyarakat. Namun, situasi tersebut tidak semua orang memahami fungsinya, sehingga fungsinya tidak dapat terlaksana sepenuhnya. Penelitian ini mengkaji situasi dan konteks generasi muda dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan penelitian pustaka. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan, pertama, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan menjadi penyiapan generasi muda untuk menjadi warga negara dengan adanya proses internalisasi pada tiga dimensi pengetahuan, kecakapan, dan nilai-nilai. Hasil yang kedua, bahwa adanya situasi urgen yang mesti disadari oleh guru, orangtua, dan pengambil kebijakan dalam negara untuk mengimplementasikan tiga dimensi tersebut agar generasi muda tidak terjebak dalam krisis identitas. Ketiga kemampuan itu dengan implementasi konkret bisa menjadi acuan dan pedoman bagi generasi muda untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pendidikan, keluarga dan masyarakat, serta negara.
