Abstract

Produksi dari suatu komoditi ditentukan oleh pengalokasian input produksi yangefisien. Efisiensi dipengaruhi kombinasi dalam megunakan input-input produksi, faktor sosialekonomi petani dan faktor diluar kendali petani. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktoryang mempengaruhi produksi, efisiensi teknis, alokatif dan ekonomi. Data diperoleh denganmelakukan wawancara dengan 40 orang petani responden di dua Nagari/Desa di KecamatanAmpek Angkek, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan duaalat analisis, yaitu produksi Stochastic Frontier dan fungsi biaya dual. Penelitian menunjukkanbahwa variabel jumlah bibit, pupuk organik, jumlah tenaga kerja dalam keluarga dan luarkeluarga berpengaruh pada taraf 1%. Sedangkan variabel jumlah pupuk anorganikberpengaruh pada taraf 10%. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata efisiensi teknis yaitu 0,85, telahefisien. Efisiensi alokatif sudah efisien dengan nilai rata-rata 0,79 dan efisiensi ekonomi nilairata-rata 0,67 belum efisien.Kata kunci : produksi ubi jalar, efisiensi alokatif, efisiensi ekonomi, stochastic frontier

Abstract

Beras sangat penting peranannya bagi kelangsungan hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Karena sebagian besar makanan pokok masyarakat indonesia adalah beras. Permasalahan akan muncul jika ketersediaan beras tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan beras masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisi sejauh mana variabel harga beras dan luas panen mempengaruhi penawaran beras di Kota Padang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik variabel harga beras dan luas panen berpengaruh secara sugnifikan dan bertanda positif terhadap penawaran beras di Kota Padang.

Abstract

Rice is the most widely cultivated commodity by farmers in Indonesia. In addition, it is also the primary commodity of food crops that become the leading food ingredient of Indonesian people. Along with the increasing population of Indonesia, the need for rice will also increase. This research aims to determine the factors that affect rice production in the Kuranji District of Padang City of West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted from February - May. Kuranji subdistrict election was conducted purposively, considering that the subdistrict is one of the rice production centers in Padang City. The data used in this study is primary data. The study used quantitative data analysis — a sampling technique with snowball sampling techniques with 30 respondents. The method used in this study in analyzing the factors that affect rice production is the regression analysis of the Cobb-Douglas production function model. The results showed that land area variables, seed variables, fertilizer variables, labor variables outside the family, and labor variables in families were influential and had positive coefficients. In contrast, variables that have no natural effect on rice production at the level of 5 percent are variables in land and seed area.

Abstract

Production of commodity determined by effectiveness allocation of input. The level of input allocation will give impact to production and then farm income. This study was aimed to analyze the income of sweet potato farm,  to identify factors those are effect the production of sweet potato, to analyze technical efficiency and factors of technical inefficiency of sweet potato’s farm. The data was gather from 40 sweet potato farmers in Ampek Angkek district regency of Agam West Sumatra. The result showed that the income of sweet potato farmers were IDR 24,659,314.18 with R/C ratio 1.8. The R/C ratio indicated that sweet potato farm was still feasible and profitable to be cultivate. Factors that effect the production of sweet potato were seeds, organic fertilizer, labor in the family, and labor outside the family. The average of technical efficiency rate was 0.85, which means that productivity of sweet potato farm achieved 85 percent from the maximum level. Meanwhile, the inefficiency can be reduce by membership of farm group, age, and land tenure.

Abstract

The food crops sub-sector contributes the second largest to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), following the subsector of plantation crops. A number of food crops undergo suplus production, is expected to contribute to economic development in the region of West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to analyze food crops commodities as a pre-eminent commodity in every region of West Sumatra Province and analyzing the role of each of the leading commodities to the economic development of West Sumatra Province.Location Quotient (LQ) is used to obtain competitive commodities and analysis of surplus production (SP) was used to analyze how much the role of the main commodity to economic development. The results showed the superior commodities of food crops are corn, rice paddy, and sweet potato. Main commodity of paddy rice field has the most development area in West Sumatera Province. Main commodity of corn is commodity which has the biggest role to economic development in West Sumatera Province.

Abstract

AbstrakUsahatani mentimun di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung mengalami penurunan produktivitas dari tahun ke tahun diduga mempengaruhi tingkat pendapatan petani, rendahnya produktivitas disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor dalam usahatani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usahatani mentimun dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani mentimun di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu non probability sampling dengan metode sampling incidental, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis.pendapatan, fungsi.produksi cobb-douglass, uji t (parsial), uji f (simultan) dan keofisien determinasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pendapatan total usahatani mentimun di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung sebesar Rp 13.289.772 dan usahatani mentimun layak…diusahakan.dengan nilai R/C 1,51. Faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani di Kecamatan Lubuk Alung adalah benih dan pupuk berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap produksi sedangkan luas lahan, pestisida dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi. Kata kunci: fungsi produksi cobb-douglass, mentimun, pendapatan, usahatani.AbstrakCucumber farming in Lubuk Alung district has decreased productivity from year to year, which is thought to affect farmers income levels, low productivity is caused by varius factors in farming. The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of cucumber farming and the factors that influence the production of cucumber farming in Lubuk Alung District. The method used in this study was quantitative with a sampling technique, namely non-probability sampling with incidental sampling method. The sample was taken as many as 30 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the income analysis of the cobb-douglass production function, t test (partial), f test (simultaneous) and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the total income of cucumber farming in Lubuk Alung District was 13.289.772,00 and cucumber farming was feasible with an R/C value of 1.51. The factors that influence farm production in Lubuk Alung sub-district are seed and fertilizer, which significantly affect production, while land area, pesticides and labor have no significant effect on production.Keywords: cobb-douglass production function, cucumber, income.

Abstract

The food crops sub-sector is an important and strategic sector because it supports the life of the Indonesian people where the main staple food is rice. The purpose of the study was to determine (1) the production costs in rice farming, (2) the income of rice farming and (3) the amount of return to labor in rice farming. This study uses quantitative data analysis. Sampling technique with snowball sampling technique with the number of respondents 30 people. The results showed that (1) the total production cost of rice farming was Rp. 9,254.112.80, (2) The amount of income from rice farming was Rp. 3,694,373.38, farming is feasible and economically profitable to implement because the value of R/C of 1.40 and (3) the return to labor earned is greater than the wages paid for labor.

Abstract

Beras memiliki peranan penting bagi masyarakat dan bangsa Indonesia. Beras sumber makanan pangan sebagian besar penduduk. Negara harus bias menjamin ketahanan pangan bagi penduduknya. Ketersediaan dan mudah diakses sepanjang tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan beras. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dengan pendekatan kuadrat terkecil atau OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga beras, harga jagung dan jumlah penduduk secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap permintaan beras. Berdasarkan uji T, variabel harga beras dan jumlah Penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sedangkan variabel harga jagung berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is one of the sectors contributing to income in Indonesia's development. The agricultural sector, which supports human needs, also contributes to negative impacts in environmental damage, including the green revolution. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of consumer behavior in purchasing decisions on hydroponic non-pesticide vegetables in the city of Padang. The method used sampling techniques, namely non-probability sampling withmethod incidental sampling, samples taken as many as 40 respondents. The results in the study were based on linear regression analysis that cultural factors, social factors did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for hydroponic non-pesticide vegetables in the city of Padang

Abstract

Menjaga dan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh harus terus dilakukan di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Salah satu cara menjaga dan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh untuk mencegah Covid-19 adalah konsumsi makanan yang dapat meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Salah satu upaya nya adalah dengan melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan yang dikelola oleh keluarga tani sehingga mudah untuk pemeliharaan dan pemanenan hasilnya. Pemanfaatan tanaman herbal dapat dilakukan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah sebagai lokasi budidaya tanaman herbal, namun selama ini pemanfaatan tanaman herbal sebatas digunakan sebagai bahan bumbu masak belum dijadikan sebagai obat untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Lolong Belanti memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap covid-19 serta tentang pemanfaatan tanaman herbal pekarangan untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukannya solusi untuk mengatasinya dengan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan bentuk kegiatan melakukan penyuluhan terhadap khasiat dari tanaman herbal dengan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Metode yang digunakan pada Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah  training/ pelatihan terkait barang maupun jasa, difusi ipteks, substitusi ipteks (ipteks terbarukan), atau simulasi ipteks, berupa penyuluhan langsung dengan mengkombinasikan metode ceramah dengan diskusi kelompok. Dari hasil penyuluhan yang diberikan pada kegiatan PkM di peroleh, rata-rata peserta paham mengenai bahan apa saja yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman herbal untuk imunitas tubuh di masa pandemi. Peserta juga paham manfaat dari tanaman-tanaman herbal tersebut bagi kesehatan tubuh. Peserta menjadi lebih paham bagaimana cara budidaya tanaman herbal dengan benar dengan menggunakan sesuai dengan penelitian yang ada. Dan para peserta juga menjadi paham  bagaimana proses persiapan lahan, perawatan, pemupukan dan pemananen serta penanganan pasca panen tanaman herbal untuk siap dikonsumsi.Kata Kunci: covid 19, imunitas, lahan pekarangan, tanaman herbal
