Stunting is one of the problems faced by Indonesia, which is a developing country. The implementation of interprofessional collaboration practices is still not carried out optimally by health workers, including nurses. This study aims to assess the implementation of Interprofessional Collaboration in handling stunting in West Sulawesi. This type of research is a quantitative research design with a descriptive analysis design with a cross sectional approach. The instrument used in this study was the Assessment of Interprofessional Team Collaboration Scale-II (AITCS-II) questionnaire. The results showed that the mean of the three indicators assessed, namely, partnership (3.97) cooperation (3.95), coordination (3.85), so that the overall assessment of the IPC (3.92) is in the category towards collaboration. Thus, it can be a concern for health service agencies to increase collaboration of health workers into good collaboration, especially in efforts to deal with stunting.

Abstract

Introduction: The application of the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (SDKI), the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) and the Indonesian Nursing Outcomes Standards (SLKI) are very important for nurses to know in carrying out nursing care practices in all health care settings. Nursing diagnoses are part of the stages of the nursing process, currently the SDKI is used as a benchmark and guide in establishing nursing diagnoses in order to provide effective and safe nursing care.Method: This study uses a quantitative design with descriptive analysis by measuring the frequency distribution. using accidental sampling which refers to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria set by the researcher. The research will be conducted using a Google Form and distributed to nursing students at nursing education institutions in the AIPNI Regional XII area. Results: The characteristics of the majority of research respondents are in the age range of 17-25 years (67.4%), the dominant gender is female (87.2%), Muslim (74.5%), and the origin of the location of the institution is mostly from South Sulawesi (33.5%). The level of knowledge of respondents was in the low category as many as 234 respondents (58.5%), enough category 158 respondents (39.5%), and good category as many as 8 respondents (2%).Conclusions: The level of knowledge majority in the low category, so we need to increase the knowledge of nursing students about the use of SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI references in nursing care documentation, for example through socialization and training on the use of 3S.

Abstract

Prenatal gentle yoga is one type of modification of hatha yoga that is adapted to the condition of pregnant women. Yoga is a movement of the body with the harmonization of mind and soul. One of the yoga exercises intended for pregnant women is the Pranayama Position. Regular yoga practice during pregnancy can increase fetal weight and reduce preterm birth and childbirth complications. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of prenatal gentle yoga. Existing problems are solved through community outreach activities through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The preparatory stage involves taking initial data and coordinating with the Puskesmas to plan the process of implementing counseling with a theme according to the needs of pregnant women, then the implementation stage begins with and introduces yourself, explains the aims and objectives of the counseling and distributes questionnaires to measure the knowledge of pregnant women before being given counseling. The evaluation phase consisted of discussion and question and answer as well as distributing questionnaires after health education. This activity was carried out on June 2, 2022 at the Bajeng Health Center which was attended by 21 pregnant women. The conclusion is that there are differences in knowledge before and after giving health education about the benefits of prenatal gentle yoga.

Abstract

Prevention of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) can be done with simple initiatives such as catheter insertion and care can contribute to preventing infection, chlorhexidine is one of the commonly used antiseptic agents due to its cationic molecular nature with various antimicrobial activities, however, until now the choice of the concentration of the use of chlorhexidine is still a polemic in its use. Therefore, the aim of this review is to evaluate the use of chlorhexidine before urinary catheter insertion and treatment in preventing CAUTI. Manual reference searches were carried out using the scoping review method, through the PubMED, DOAJ, Science direct, EBSCO, ProQuest, Garuda, and Gray Literature databases (google scholar). The study was included based on PCC criteria (Population: patients with urinary catheters, Concept: Chlorhexidine use, Context: urinary catheter insertion and care), published from 2011-2021. A total of 171 studies were screened, the remaining eleven articles that met the inclusion criteria and were included in this review. Based on the results of the study found the use of Chlorhexidine with various concentrations, namely 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 0.9%, 2%, and 4% with various intervention uses, namely, SRV (sustained-release varnishes), periurethral cleaning before catheterization , cleaning urine bag, and bathing Chlorhexidine. The application of the use of chlorhexidine with a concentration of 0.5% - 4% is one of the strategies to prevent CAUTI at the time of insertion and treatment of urinary catheters, especially in the intensive care room.

Abstract

Baby blues syndrome or mild depression tends to be experienced by mothers in the first week after giving birth and can have an effect on the physiological condition of the mother and the child's development. Using qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling techniques and data analysis techniques according to Colaizzi. There are three informants and the results of this study have been arranged into several themes, namely; feelings, behavior and thoughts of mothers who experience baby blues syndrome, causes of baby blues syndrome in postpartum mothers, and psychosocial needs and spirituality of postpartum mothers in the letting go phase. The conclusion from this study is that social support is one of the dominant factors that trigger postpartum mothers to experience baby blues syndrome. The results of this study prove the view of the Qur'an that women are creatures that are not strong enough physiologically so that it is necessary to pay attention during pregnancy because this period is considered to cause increased weakness.

Abstract

Introduction: Sleep is one of the physiological needs that has an impact on the quality and balance of life. The habit of poor sleep quality or a short amount of sleep is also associated with an increase in an individual's blood pressure. If someone's sleep duration is short, the sympathetic nervous system activity will increase, making the person vulnerable to stress, ultimately leading to an increase in blood pressure. Poor sleep quality and quantity not only causes physical discomfort, but also impairs individual memory and cognitive abilities. If this poor quality and quantity of sleep is left unattended for several years, more dangerous complications are likely to occur, such as heart attacks, strokes and psychological problems (such as depression or other mood disorders). The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure in final semester students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Methods: The study used a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples of 45 respondents was selected by simple random sampling technique Results: The results of the chi-square test showed that there was no relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure (p>0.1). Conclusion: there is no significant relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure in students of the Faculty of Health Sciences in the Final Semester of the Universitas Sulawesi Barat.
