Abstract

This study aims to examine the antecedents and consequence of dependency on smartphone among university students in Surabaya. The antecedents of dependency on smartphones are Social Needs, Social Influence andConvenience, while consequence of dependency on smartphones is Purchase Behavior. This study uses purposive sampling approach, in which the sample are students in Surabaya using smartphones more than 2 years,amounted to 170 people, and is domiciled in Surabaya. We test of the model using Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS software 16. The results indicate that the Social Needs and Social Influence has a positiveand significant impact on Dependency on Smartphone. Additionally, Dependency on Smartphone has a positive influence on Purchase Behavior, whereas Convenience has positive non significant effect on Dependency onSmartphone.Keywords: Convenience, Dependency on Smartphone, Purchase Behavior, Social Needs, Social Influence

Abstract

This research aims to provide insight into the relationship between religiousness, trustworthiness in advertising and advertisement avoidance. A structural equation modelling procedure is applied to this research. Data processing was conducted using SPSS 18.0 for Windows and SmartPLS 2.0 for Windows. The sampling technique thatused is non-probability sampling and purpose sampling. The number of samples used in this reseafch is as much 200, qualify the the specified characteristic of the population were the total of sample used in this research which distributed by offline questionaire.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji Theory Planned Behavior dan hubungan dengan Purchase Intention di Indonesia. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 24 for windows. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan di penelitian ini adalah 282 responden. Data di olah menggunakan mean, deviasi standar dan confirmatory factor analysis. Penelitian menemukan bahwa Environmental Knowledge, mempengaruhi Attitude dan Attitude, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control, Environmental Concern dan Environmental Knowledge secara signifikan mempengaruhi Purchase Intention . Kata Kunci : Green Product, Theory Planned Behavior, Environmental Concern, Environmental Knowledge dan Purchase Intention Abstrak : The purpose of this study is to test Theory Planned Behavior and its relationship with Purchase Intention in Indonesian. Abstract

This research purposes to examine the moderating role of gender on the entrepreneurial intention model. The Theory of the Entrepreneurial Event (TEE) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) are integrated as grand theory to explain the research. The data were obtained by involving 154 active undergraduate students as respondents. The results from Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis approach showed that gender moderate the direct effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intention significantly. The positive effect of entrepreneurial subjective norm on entrepreneurial intention is stronger and significant in female respondents than males. Furthermore, the effect of the perceived feasibility on entrepreneurial intention is not moderated by gender.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have an important role and strategic development. A healthy growth of SMEs will be a competitive advantage for developing countries to be able to survive and move forward in the competitive dynamics in the era of globalization. This study aims to examine the performance of the competitiveness of SMEs shoes on the Surabaya region through Asset approach - Process - Performance (APK). Based on the results of the regression analysis, found that the positive effect of SME assets in process, and the process is also a positive effect on performance.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0. tidak hanya merubah model bisnis dan pola kompetisi tetapi juga merombak sistem ekonomi dan masyarakat serta membuat lingkungan ekonomi baru dimana teknologi digital memiliki peran di dalamnya. Perubahan yang terjadi semakin nyata disaat kondisi dunia yang dilanda pandemi Covid-19 yang berdampak pada seluruh sektor kehidupan manusia, tidak terkecuali pada sektor ekonomi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM pada masa pandemi COVID-19 adalah penurunan penjualan, permasalahan permodalan, distribusi terhambat, kesulitan bahan baku, produksi menurun hingga Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK). Tantangan bagi para pelaku UMKM juga semakin bertambah tatkala Pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) pada awal tahun 2020, Work From Home (WFH), School From Home (SFH), hingga Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) pada tahun 2021.

Abstract

The research reveals the role of message framing and involvement in influencing attitudes towards organic products. The research data obtained through experimental techniques were attended by 180 students. The results showed that the effect of the negative message framing is more effective in subjects with a high level of involvement, while the influence of a positive message framing is more effective in subjects with low involvement.

Abstract

Pengembangan potensi desa menjadi desa pariwisata menjadi salah satu fokus pemerintah pusat dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat. Pengembangan pariwisata tidak terlepas dari persepsi dan dukungan komunitas didalamnya. Dukungan komunitas terhadap pengembangan pariwisata dapat dijelaskan dalam kerangka pikir ekonomi maupun non ekonomi. Peran masyarakat sebagai bagian komunitas yang berfokus pada pendekatan ekonomi, yakni sisi manfaat dan biaya dijelaskan dalam perspektif Social Exchange Theory (SET). Selain faktor ekonomi, faktor non ekonomi juga menjadi pertimbangan yang tak kalah pentingnya dalam pengembangan desa wisata. Pemberdayaan masyarakat desa menjadi faktor pengungkit non ekonomi yang penting untuk menggerakkan perubahan ke arah pengembangan desa wisata. Bertumpu pada Resident Empowerment through Tourism (RETS), penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap peran pemberdayaan masyarakat desa pada wisata sawah Sumber Gempong dalam ranah pengembangan desa wisata. Desain penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik field research dipilih untuk menelaah empat dimensi pemberdayaan masyarakat meliputi personal economic benefit, psychological empowerment, social empowerment, dan political empowerment. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi pihak terkait, misalnya pemerintah desa (Kepala Desa dan jajarannya), BUMDesa Mutiara Welirang (Direktur, Manajer dan staff), serta masyarakat lokal pelaku wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peran postif empat dimensi pemberdayaan masyarakat sebagai faktor pengungkit terhadap pengembangan desa wisata.
