Abstract

This article describes the tradition practiced by the followers of Qadiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah in Pekanbaru, Riau. By employing a qualitative approach, this article finds that that the tradition of the Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah in Pekanbaru, Riau emerged from the tradition (custom) performed at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda al-Islami. Through the pesantren, the tarekat tradition is spread gradually in the practice of education and socialization. From the tradition of pesantren education, this tarekat philosophy is then socialized to the surrounding community's environmental traditions. Philosophically, this study also concluded that tarekat is a doctrine that is close to Islamic education. Pesantren as the center of tarekat development becomes 'icon' development of Islamic education based on Sufi character. In the contemporary context, the values of Sufi education are increasingly crucial, especially in responding to the patterns and lifestyles of consumptive ones arising from modernization, capitalism, and globalization

Abstract

This research aimed at testing and analyzing the influence of training intervention on the improvement of employees’ work competence in globalization era. This research used correlation survey method between independent variable of training intervention (X) and dependent variable of working competence (Y). Regression analysis was used to determine the correlation model between independent variable Y (work competence) and dependent variable, training intervention (X), whereas correlation analysis was used to determine the strength or weakness between Y variable (working competence) and X (training competence). The target population in this research is the employees of Kimia Farma Apotek in Depok City business unit, the level of employees in this research are assistant manager, supervisor, and clerks. The total number of population is 96 employees; the entire population is also the entire sample. The data collection instrument is Likert scale questionnaire. The result of the research are: a) in this advance information and technological era, training still gives positive and strong influence to improve the working competence of the employees, especially related to improvement of motivation to achieve organizational targets and objectives; b) improvement of employees’ working competence through training can be predicted by using the simple regression model of Y= 0,878 + 0,777 X; c) training gives 45.5% influence toward the improvement of employees’ working competence and the rest 55.5% is predicted by other factors such as, working environment, leaders’ support, reward system, facilities and infrastructure support, etc.

Abstract

This research aimed to design a strategy to develop character learning mathematics students that were based on the values of Islam. This study were in the frame of research and development method using qualitative approach. Subject of this research was the first year of undergraduate students of mathematics education department who took basic mathematics courses. Mathematics learning strategies in developing th character were designed in three stages to develop students character. The first stage was the inculcation. At this stage, lecturer facilitated students with activities that were able to raise awareness of the value of the character in learning. The second stage was Implementation where the lecturers facilitated student learning activities that fostered character value. Activities fostered values characters implicitly include group discussion, problems solving, seeking information from various sources, preparations reports, and presentations. The final stage was reflection, where the lecturer together with students did reflection on themselves and on the values of the characters that had not been well grown in learning. The results of interview with students suggest that the use of learning strategies has a positive impact on student character development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Majalengka, dan bertujuan untuk mengetahuigambaran stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan RSUD Kabupaten Majalengka serta seberapa besar pengaruh stress kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan RSUD Kabupaten Majalengka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei pada 387 karyawan yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Kabupaten Majalengka, dengan jumlah sampel 80 orang. Responden penelitian adalah karyawan rumah sakit baik tenaga medis mau pun non medis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahap. Pertama, uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penelitian, kedua uji hipotesis, dantahap ketiga difokuskan untuk menjawab semua masalah penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik statistika deskriptif dan verifikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaintensitas stress reaction berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan demands berada pada kategori sedang. Tingkat kinerja karyawan RSUD Kabupaten Majalengka menunjukkan bahwakinerja karyawan dilihat dari sudut personal quality sudah baik, sedangkan dari segi kemampuan menyelesaikan pekerjaan dalam hal jumlah dan kreativitas masih kurang.Stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan RSUD Kabupaten Majalengka mempunyai korelasi negatif artinya semakin tinggi tingkat stres kerja akan menurunkan kinerja karyawan. Kemudian konstribusi stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan RSUD Kabupaten Majalengka adalah sebesar 61,15 %, sisanya 38,85 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel yang diteliti. Hal ini berarti bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Majalengka. . Kata kunci : Stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Internet or Social Network Site is a new media facilitating collective action and a "public sphere" for political and social interactions. The Internet is not only a big marketplace. Blogs, wikis and other social networking sites provide a technological basis for grassroots action to coordinate and communicate. Movement of 1,000,000 Facebookers Supporting Chandra Hamzah and Bibit Samad Riyanto in Indonesia 2009, was launched after the two suspended Corruption Eradication Commission (KFK) officers were arrested on suspicion of abuse of power. This, become an interesting new phenomenon in Indonesia. It is an example of wide spread popular support for the anti corruption leaders and the anti graft movement.My paper aims to explore the development of social media in Indonesia and its contribution to implementation of transparency and anti graft movement. Particularly, the paper will identify the role of Facebook in establishing a non political party, online parliament and the future of it in Indonesia as the democratic moslem country in the world.Many active discussions has been generated along 2000s on the topic of social media and its effect on the formation and mobilization of social and political movement. For example, the emergence of the Coffee Party in US. Since 2009, Facebook in Indonesia has played an important role in politics and its importance was first noticed by KPK case. Since then there has been growth in the role of Facebook in political movements. The power of civil society in the form of Facebookers replaces democratic checks and balance which in the real world should be the function of political parties in Indonesian parliament.
