Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bervariasinya data mengenai kegiatan siswa merespon pada saatpembelajaran berlangsung di kelas. Kegiatan merespon merupakan bagian dari bidangpengembangan belajar yang menjadi salah satu fokus pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK).Persepsi siswa merupakan faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi kegiatan merespon dalampembelajaran. Dengan diketahuinya gambaran kegiatan merespon, serta faktor-faktor yang didugaberkontribusi seperti persepsi siswa, hal ini akan menjadi bagian dari analisis kebutuhan siswa (needassessment) oleh Guru BK.. Dugaan adanya keterkaitan persepsi siswa terhadap kegiatan merespondalam pembelajaran, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini yang akan dijadikan needassessment dalam penyusunan program BK. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar penelitian ini dilakukan,karena belum adanya temuan penelitian yang menunjukkan seberapa besar kontribusi persepsi siswaterhadap kegiatan merespon dalam pembelajaran serta implikasinya dalam BK.Penelitian inimerupakan jenis deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dan XII SMANegeri 8 Padang yang berjumlah 480 orang, sampel berjumlah 218 orang, yang dipilih dengan teknikproportionalstratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala model Likert. Datadianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan regresi sederhana. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkanbahwa: (1) persepsi siswa tentang kegiatan merespon berada pada kategori positif, (2) kegiatanmerespon dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) terdapat kontribusi persepsi siswaterhadap kegiatan merespon sebesar 7.2% (R= 0.268, signifikansi 0.000). Implikasi hasil penelitiantersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai analisis kebutuhan siswa untuk pembuatan program pelayanan BK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kontribusi dari kepercayaan diri dan siswa persepsi terhadap menanggapi aktivitas dalam belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 480 siswa dari SMA Negeri 8 Padang di kelas XI dan XII, dan sampel 218 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan proporsional stratified random sampling. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata, deskripsi kepercayaan diri itu di tingkat tinggi, (2) siswa persepsi tentang kegiatan merespon adalah di tingkat positif, (3) menanggapi aktivitas dalam pembelajaran dikategorikan pada tingkat tinggi, (4) ada 7,5% (R = 0,275, signifikansi 0,000) dalam kontribusi percaya diri terhadap merespons kegiatan, (5) ada 7,2% (R = 0,268, signifikansi 0,000) dalam kontribusi persepsi siswa terhadap kegiatan merespon, (6) ada 11 % (R = 0,332, signifikansi 0,000) dalam kontribusi bersama dengan percaya diri dan siswa persepsi terhadap menanggapi aktivitas dalam belajar. Abstract

This study aims to determine: a description of the average condition score of activities responding to students in learning before and after treatment guidance services are given; and the effectiveness of group guidance services to improve student response activities in learning. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is pre-experimental, using the one group pre-test post-test design. The selection of subjects in this study uses a non-random sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The subjects of this study were ten people and were treated for six meetings. The instrument used was the Responding scale Rizky Andana Pohan Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the help of SPSS version 17.00. The research findings show that in general group guidance services are effective in increasing response activities in learning, while specifically this study describes: there are differences in the average score of student response activities before and after group guidance services are provided. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the activities of responding to students in learning can be improved through group guidance services.

Abstract

Natural phenomena that hit parts of Aceh Province became a serious concern, fears of post-traumatic stress disorders experienced by children.  Therefore, readiness to deal with natural disasters is considered important to be studied. Emotion focused coping is a cognitive process that focuses on reducing emotional stress and includes strategies such as, minimizing, avoiding, selective attention, positive comparisons, and taking positive and negative values from an event.  This study aims to describe the emotion focused coping of Darul Abrar orphanage students in the readiness to deal with natural disasters. This study uses a quantitative approach.  The study population was 595 orphanage students. The orphanage students sampled in this study were 240 people, selected by proportional random sampling technique.  The instrument used is the Likert scale. The first, second and third research objectives were analyzed by percentage techniques, the fourth and fifth research objectives were analyzed by linear regression.Keywords: Emotion Focused Coping, Natural Disaster Preparedness, Orphanage

Abstract

This research was conducted by the still variability of data about students’ responding activity when learning in a class. The achievement motivation and self-concept were two factors assumed to affect responding activity in learning. This research is aimed to describe the contribution of the achievement motivation and self-concept towards responding activity in learning. This research applied quantitative method with a descriptive correlational. The population of this research were 700 students of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan in grade  X and XI, and the samples were 254 students that were chosen by using proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument of the research was a likert scale. The data  were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regression. The research findings indicated that: (1) averagely, description of the achievement motivation was at high level, (2) self-concept was at positive level, (3)  responding activity in learning was categorized at high level, (4) there was 7.6% (R= 0.276, on significance 0.000) in achievement motivation contribution towards  responding activity, (5) there was 7.7% (R= 0.279, significance 0.000) in students’ self-concept, (6) there was 11.7% (R= 0.343, on significance 0.000) in contribution together with achievement motivation and self-concept towards responding activity in learning. The implication of this research can be made as a need assessment to make a program of guidance and counseling service in SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan.Keywords : Achievement Motivation, Self-Concept, Responding Activity

Abstract

Bullying is a behavior of intolerance to differences and freedom. In Islam, it is strictly forbidden and strongly discourages the condescension of others. Islamic Guidance is the activity of providing assistance to individuals and groups continuously and systematically to solve problems in his life in accordance with the provisions of Allah SWT which is guided by the Qur'an and Hadith, so that they can achieve happiness later. Islamic guidance is very important in dealing with bullying that occurs to create quality students. This type of research is qualitative research, research data sources are classified as primary data and secondary data. Data collection tools and techniques used were interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that Islamic guidance for students in the Tazkiah Langsa Integrated Islamic Elementary School, was a systematic assistance in solving problems surrounding bully behavior in schools.

Abstract

One important component in an individual's life is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is one aspect of knowledge about self or self-knowledge that is most influential in everyday human life. So that every individual should have good self-efficacy to prepare for a future career. The purpose of this study is to find out how the self-efficacy of IAIN Langsa Islamic counseling guidance students in preparing for a career. The problem examined in this study is how the self-efficacy of IAIN Langsa Islamic counseling guidance students in preparing for a career. In conducting this research researchers used a qualitative method with the type of phenomenological study, the determination of the informants in this study was determined using purposive sampling techniques, in processing the research data using the filling system technique. The filling system method is a method in which the researcher feels that the collected data is sufficient so the analysis is performed. The results of the study showed that the self-efficacy of IAIN Langsa Islamic counseling students in preparing for a career was classified as good. Islamic counseling students already understand what the world of counseling is like, what it works like, and have prepared steps for future career preparation. Scientifically at least Islamic counseling students already have insight into the world of counseling so that it helps students to achieve good self-efficacy

Abstract

This study aims to describe the adversity quotient of SMAN 1 Manyak Paid students and the efforts of the BK teacher in developing adversity quotient in students. The research method used in this study is a qualitative type with a descriptive approach. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The determination of research subjects or informants in this study was done by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results showed that (1) the description of adversity quotient in SMAN 1 Manyak Paid students can be seen from all four dimensions, namely a) Dimension of control, students cannot control themselves when facing a problem. b) The dimension of ownership (recognition), students can admit mistakes made by apologizing and promising not to repeat the same mistakes again. c) The reach dimension (achievement), some students have the ability to limit difficulties so that they do not enter into other lives and some students have not been able to limit it. d) The dimension of endurance students assumes every problem they face requires a long time in solving it. (2) the efforts of BK teachers in developing adversity quotient in SMAN 1 Manyak Payed students in the form of classical guidance and individual counseling services, where classical guidance is used first if there is no change, then individual counseling and forms of collaboration between BK teachers and teachers will be conducted Students and parents to support the process of solving students' difficulties

Abstract

A misconception is a wrong explanation and an idea that is incompatible with the scientific understanding accepted by the experts. Misconceptions often occur because the concepts learned and accepted by students are different. The purpose of this study was to determine how the misconception of guidance and counseling services in SMA and MAN Idi Rayeuk. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study explain that the misconception of guidance and counseling services in MAN 1 Idi Rayeuk still occurs because the teacher who serves as a counseling teacher is not a BK teacher but is a graduate of Sociology who is given the responsibility to solve student problems, less because they do not understand the theory and how to implement the BK services provided to students to deal with their problems. Meanwhile, in SMA N 1 Idi Rayeuk, misconceptions do not occur, because the teachers who provide BK services are graduates of S-1 guidance and counseling. The service and implementation of the BK program have started to be carried out well because BK teachers are able to carry out their duties in implementing BK services in accordance with the operational guidelines for the implementation of guidance and counseling for high school (SMA).
