Abstract

Covid-19 has led to the closure of educational institutions around the world and turned formal learning into distance learning. This study aims to investigate the effect of e-learning infrastructure and individual’s knowledge and competence on distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020. E-learning infrastructure and individual’s cognitive competence were also used to determine the readiness of educational institutions in distance learning. The e-learning infrastructure includes Learning Management System (LMS), electronic devices, communication applications, and internet accessibility. Quantitative approach was used in this study with a sample of 324 participants from three major universities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected through online surveys. The descriptive statistical approach and one-layer regression analysis were used to examine the problems raised in this study. The results show that distance learning is positively influenced by e-learning infrastructure and the cognitive competence of the students, the faculty, and administrative staff. The results also point out the university’s readiness level in adopting online learning based on their previous experience of using the learning system. Finally, the study proposes that in order to improve the e-learning process, there needs to be sufficient financial support from the government, whereas the universities are advised to conduct workshops and training, and to provide teleconferencing applications.

Abstract

Keberadaan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) menurut Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nomor 13 Tahun 2005 merupakan jenis pendidikan non formal. Penyelenggaraan PAUD utamanya ditujukan untuk pendidikan pra sekolah, yaitu untuk anak-anak usia dini (0 - 6 tahun). PAUD Kenanga dalam penyelenggaraannya telah mengalami berbagai perubahan pengelola, dimana pada mulanya diselenggarakan menurut keberadaan Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu) untuk kesehatan ibu dan anak di setiap dusun (Pedukuhan Glugo ada 4 dusun). Tujuan program ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas layanan penyelenggaraan PAUD dan perbaikan tata kelola (manajemen) baik dari sisi struktur pengelolaan maupun administrasi PAUD. Metode pendekatan partisipatif dengan focus group discussiondilaksanakan dengan melibatkan kelompok ibu-ibu PKK (Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga), Kepala Pedukuhan Glugo, dan ibu-ibu sukarelawan yang selalu siap sedia melaksanakan kegiatan PAUD. Hasil dan Implikasi meliputi terpadunya penyelenggaraan PAUD di Pedukuhan Glugo, yang sebelumnya diselenggarakan di setiap dusun, saat ini telah terpadu menjadi satu, yakni Satuan PAUD Sejenis Kenanga. Kualitas layanan juga meningkat, dengan terpadunya tata kelola di tingkat pedukuhan. Beberapa peningkatan kualitas layanan yang terlaksana adalah dibangunnya ruang bermain dan belajar, pembelian dan pengadaan alat-alat bermain indoor dan outdoor, pengadaan seragam untuk peserta didik, pengadaan seragam untuk pengelola dan pendidik, penyelenggaraan rekreasi untuk ibu dan anak, mendatangkan guru menyanyi dan pengenalan musik.Kata Kunci: pendidikan anak usia dini, kenanga, kualitas layanan, tata kelola

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of Work Interfering Family and Family Interfering Work toward the Organizational Commitment that mediated by Job Satisfaction. Information of this research is useful for organization (Univesity) as a consideration base to improve work achievement. The subject in this reseach is female lecturer in Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. Purposive sampling is the method that used in this research. The method to collect the data is by spreading the questionnaire, and through this method, researcher gained 110 lecturer as respondent. The data is analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The result of this research shows that the of Work Interfering Family has a significant negative effect on Job Satisfaction, and Family Interfering Work has a negative effect yet insignificant toward Job Satisfaction, and Job Satisfaction has a positive effect and significant on Organizational Commitment. This research is also shows that of Work Interfering Family has a positive effect and significant towards Organizational Commitment, and Family Interfering Work has a positive effect and insignificant toward Organizational Commitment

Abstract

The motivation factor is one of the most important elements for choosing tourism destination, this study aims to find out the motives of Sudanese tourists for choosing Bandung as tourism destination, this research uses a Qualitative approach to describe this topic as phenomenological study, the study showed that the factor of culture, religion, behavior, nature, the experiences of former tourists, shopping, price, have a very big role in motive Sudanese tourists to choose Bandung as a tourist destination. This study shows that the factors of excellence tourist destinations in Bandung have important indicators including the type and nature of tourist attractions; service quality, physical and social environment, cost, accessibility, and behavior of local residents to tourists. Tourist destinations in Bandung in the view of some Sudanese tourists have high accessibility, leading tourist attractions in tourist destinations easily accessible because of good road conditions. In the regulation of traffic and transportation is very chaotic because the traffic rate of vehicles is so crowded. Decent accommodation and a complete and clear guide/instruction. The lowest score is the attribute of the accessibility of tourist destinations in Bandung.

Abstract

Sharing knowledge is a core value in the learning process of higher education.This research aims to analyze the factors influence knowledge sharing in the implementation of e-learning in Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The subject in this study is 115 lectures in Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis and using validity, reliability test, classic assumption test, F test and t test. The results of this study indicate, first, that the lecturer attitude, motivation to share, communication and technology simultaneously significant effect on knowledge sharing. Second, the lecturer attitude have a negative influence and no significant evidenced by the coefficient value of the lecturer attitude is -0.164. Another variables have a positive impact and significant, regression coefficient evidenced by the value of the motivation to share is 0,482, regression coefficient value of the communication is 0.191 and regression coefficient of technology is 0.220. Analysis of the coefficient of determination shows 0,403; which means the lecturer attitude, motivation to share, communication and technology affect knowledge sharing by 40,3%.

Abstract

Hasil dan Implikasi meliputi terpadunya penyelenggaraan PAUD di Pedukuhan Glugo, yang sebelumnya diselenggarakan di setiap dusun, saat ini telah terpadu menjadi satu, yakni Satuan PAUD Sejenis Kenanga. Kualitas layanan juga meningkat, dengan terpadunya tata kelola di tingkat pedukuhan. Beberapa peningkatan kualitas layanan yang terlaksana adalah dibangunnya ruang bermain dan belajar, pembelian dan pengadaan alat-alat bermain indoor dan outdoor, pengadaan seragam untuk peserta didik, pengadaan seragam untuk pengelola dan pendidik, penyelenggaraan rekreasi untuk ibu dan anak, mendatangkan guru menyanyi dan pengenalan musik.Kata Kunci: pendidikan anak usia dini, kenanga, kualitas layanan, tata kelola

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the accuracy of the queuing models and the application of layout design at the gas station in Ngasinan Wonosobo, Indonesia. Fuel service providers are encouraged to optimize service space as the number of motorized vehicle customers grows. The focus of attention in gas station management is not only on the queuing model, but also on the layout design that is acceptable and adequate for customers, particularly motorcycle riders who use Pertalite. This study will look at how to simulate a realistic gas station queue and provide a user-friendly layout design for anyone interested in gas stations.Methodology: The object of this study was a motorcyclist who was doing Pertalite refueling. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data, so this study is classified as mixed methods. Purposive sampling was utilized as the sampling method in this study, which is a non-probability sampling strategy. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and analysis of the Multi-channel-Single phase (M/M/S) queuing model.Finding: The findings of this study indicate that long queues can interfere with the activities of other facility users for other customers at the gas station. This study identifies the need for a neat layout design for motorcycle queues by utilizing the service-scape gas station.Conclusion: Although the queue system performs well in the afternoon, the results of the queuing analysis show that the total length of vehicles in the system does not exceed the length of the line, ensuring that the queue does not obstruct other vehicle paths. Recommendations and study findings are explored as a queuing model and layout design in the future.

Abstract

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family support, leader support, and work-life balance on teacher performance.Methodology: The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling and uses a purposive sampling technique. This study used a sample of 150 teachers in Sukoharjo District, Pringsewu Regency, Lampung. The analysis of this research used SEM with AMOS 24.0 software.Finding: The results showed that family support has a significant effect on teacher performance. Family support has a significant effect on the work-life balance of teachers. Leader support has a significant effect on the work life balance of teachers. Leader support has a significant effect on teacher performance. Work life balance has no significant effect on teacher performance.Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that family support and leader support have a significant effect on teacher performance, family support and leader support have a significant effect on work-life balance, and work-life balance has no significant effect on teacher performance. In the process of achieving a balance between the "work" and "non-work" domains, various conflicts and problems will arise that must be faced by individuals with families. The application of work-life balance in each employee cannot improve the employee's performance in the organization. Employees who can balance their work with their lives may not necessarily improve the employee's performance.

Abstract

Desa Poncosari terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Srandakan, Kabupaten Bantul. Keberadaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Poncosari, khususnya Dusun Jragan II, cukup bervariasi jenis usahanya. Ada enam jenis UMKM di Dusun Jragan II, yakni industri makanan ringan (kue adrem, peyek belut dan krupuk bawang), angkringan, mie lethek, dan industri nata de coco. Pengabdian masyarakat ini semula akan membentuk koperasi, tetapi karena pandemic Covid-19, ada perubahan program pengabdian menjadi program peningkatan daya jual UMKM dengan mengadakan pelatihan digitalisasi bisnis yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan manajemen dan teknik berbisnis di era digital. Ini dilakukan agar UMKM Desa Poncosari bisa berkembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengadakan pelatihan yang diikuti oleh seluruh UMKM Pedukuhan Jragan II, Desa Poncosari. Pelatihan digitalisasi bisnis UMKM dilaksanakan di Kampus Terpadu Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) dengan narasumber yang ahli dalam strategi digital bisnis. Narasumber memberikan materi pelatihan tentang cara penggiat UMKM agar dapat meningkatkan omset penjualan, jaringan pemasaran dengan memanfaatkan media sosial, seperti Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, dan WhatsApp. Dalam pelatihan dilakukan pre-test dan post-test yang harus diisi oleh seluruh peserta. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengetahuan tentang digitalisasi bisnis sebelum dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan digitalisasi bisnis. Hasil survey yang dilakukan tim pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bisnis digital dan ada satu peserta belum menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bisnis digital. Pelaku bisnis di era digital dengan segala perubahan konsumennya harus mampu beradaptasi mengikuti perubahan cara berbisnis yang mengarah ke digitalisasi. Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen bisnis dan bisnis digital dari peserta Pelatihan Digitalisasi Bisnis menjadi modal dasar bagi pelaku UMKM Dusun Jragan II untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya ke arah bisnis digital.

Abstract

Sebagian besar UMKM telah bertransformasi menuju ekosistem digital bahkan dapat menggabungkan pemasaran daring dan luring (Marfuin dan Robin, 2021). Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diselenggarakan bekerjasama dengan Kelompok ibu-ibu penggiat Sedekah Sampah Sido Piknik di Janganan RT 05 Panggungharjo Sewon Bantul. Adapun masalah yang dimiliki mitra adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan wawasan mitra terkait dengan digitalisasi bisnis agar usahanya bisa lebih berkembang. Pengabdian ini menjadi program peningkatan daya jual UMKM dengan mengadakan pelatihan digitalisasi bisnis dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan manajemen dan teknik berbisnis di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengadakan pelatihan yang diikuti oleh seluruh anggota dan peserta UMKM. Narasumber memberikan materi pelatihan tentang bagaimana penggiat UMKM dapat meningkatkan omset penjualan, jaringan pemasaran, dengan memanfaatkan e-commerce seperti Tokopedia, Shopee serta media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan bahkan WhatsApp. Selama penyelenggaraan pelatihan dilakukan pre-test dan post-test yang harus diisi oleh seluruh peserta untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana pengetahuan tentang digitalisasi bisnis sebelum dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian ini, Ibu-ibu UMKM kelompok sedekah sampah sido piknik Dusun Janganan, Panggungharjo Sewon Bantul menjadi lebih memahami tentang strategi bisnis digital. Disamping pelatihan dan pendampingan bisnis digital, untuk menambah pengetahuan dilaksanakan praktik pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Dengan pelatihan bisnis digital dan pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair ini, diharapkan produk Ibu-ibu UMKM kelompok sedekah sampah sido piknik menjadi lebih bernilai. Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen bisnis dan bisnis digital dari semua peserta pelatihan menjadi modal dasar pelaku UMKM untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya ke arah bisnis
