Abstract

This research investigates the synergistic impact of the work environment and CEO characteristics on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia's clothing industry. The study explores the significance of these factors in enhancing MSME performance and aims to contribute both theoretically and practically to the understanding of these dynamics. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, the study analyzes data from 276 MSMEs in the clothing industry, employing the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate a positive and significant influence of the work environment and CEO characteristics on MSME performance. The research provides valuable insights for policymakers, business leaders, and industry associations to optimize work environments and select CEOs with specific attributes to improve MSME performance.

Abstract

Based on variables related to consumer behavior, the purpose of this study is to examine how brand awareness, electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM), and digital accessibility affect purchase decisions. Both quantitative and qualitative data are the kind of data that are employed. Both primary and secondary data sources are utilised. Customers of e-grocery who purchase fruit are sent a questionnaire via Google Form as part of the data collection process. The researcher came to the conclusion that there were 100 respondents in the sample. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis will be performed on the data collected from the questionnaire. In order to test the research concurrently, structural equation modeling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) analysis are utilized, with the smartPLS program. Drawing from the analysis and explanation presented above, the following deductions can be made: The behavior of consumers is not really impacted by brand awareness. Digital accessibility and electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) have a genuine and substantial impact on e-grocery consumer behavior. It's probable that customer behavior is influenced by the lifestyle of internet buying. Purchase decisions are actually and significantly influenced by digital accessibility and brand awareness. Digital accessibility and electronic word-of-mouth have a genuine and substantial impact on customer behavior. Opinion leaders and reference groups may have an impact on customer behavior when it comes to emotional factors influencing purchase decisions.

Abstract

Hospitality has a strategic role in supporting the smooth running of the tourism industry. However, high job demands often cause employees to experience fatigue. So that all activities carried out run harmoniously, employees need to experience work-life balance. This study uses role theory to observe the phenomena of an employee's work and non-work life. The location for primary data collection was the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The research respondents were married hotel employees. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale with five choices. The research instrument was adapted from previous studies. The number of questionnaires that can be processed is ninety-six. The data analysis technique uses exploratory factor analysis. Before factor analysis was carried out, the primary data collected was filtered first using KMO and Bartlett's Test of Sphericity. Varimax is used to determine new factors. From the test, six factors shape work-life balance. The names of the new factors include a meaningful career, family obligations, diligent work, a comfortable home, fun at work, and how to be successful. Meanwhile, the most dominant factor is a meaningful career.
