Abstract

This research aims to compare Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset Theory and Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory in the context of developing individual potential. The study utilizes literature review and comparative analysis as the research method to compare the two theories. In the pursuit of optimizing individual potential, the growth mindset emphasizes the importance of a developing mindset, viewing failures as opportunities for learning, and creating a supportive learning environment. On the other hand, multiple intelligences theory acknowledges the diversity of intelligences and advocates for the development of all types of intelligence in education. In inclusive modern education, the application of both theories can motivate students to grow and learn, develop self-confidence, and optimize their potential in various areas of intelligence. Through this approach, modern education can create a stimulating environment, facilitate holistic development, and produce individuals who are prepared to face future challenges. By understanding the differences and similarities between these two theories, education can adopt an inclusive approach that focuses on the full development of each individual's potential, ensuring that students are empowered to achieve academic success and optimal personal growth.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious issue in developing countries like Indonesia, resulting from inadequate nutritional intake and impacting children's physical and cognitive growth. The 2022 Indonesian Health Survey recorded a stunting rate of 21.6%, with the highest prevalence found in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), West Sulawesi, West Papua, and West Nusa Tenggara, while Bali had the lowest prevalence at around 8%. Stunting is not only a physical issue but also affects children's cognitive development, necessitating serious education and intervention. Coastal areas and small islands, including Osi Island in West Seram, are particularly vulnerable to this issue. The research was conducted using various data collection techniques such as questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation and was analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The findings indicate an increased community understanding of parasitic infections, greater awareness of environmental sanitation, changes in personal hygiene behaviour, and the use of local deworming medications. This increased knowledge forms the basis for prevention efforts, with a better understanding of parasitic infection causes, symptoms, and risks.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has a huge impact on human activities, including the education sector, especially the teaching and learning process. In the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities are still being carried out even though they are not carried out face-to-face but online. One alternative to support this online teaching and learning process is to use WA groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes carried out through WA groups. This study also aims to determine the improvement and learning outcomes of students through group work. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through in-depth surveys. The survey used in this research is a google form conducted online. The results of this study show that students' activities and learning outcomes increase when the group work learning process is conducted through WA Group. WA Group is also beneficial for students, because it saves the use of internet quota. The disadvantage of using WA Group in the process of increasing student activity is that students are easily influenced by other chats that can distract students from the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this study explains that increasing student learning activities and outcomes through WA Group is very effective because students can use various features that can be accessed through WA Group.

The research method used is quantitative using survey methods. The data used is primary data obtained directly from 32 respondents using a questionnaire. The questionnaire used has tested the validity and reliability tests. The research data analysis technique used multiple linear regression tests and carried out F tests and T tests. The results showed that compensation and facilities had a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul Khoir Talang partially or simultaneously.Stakeholders need to pay attention to the provision of compensation both financially and non-financially so as to increase teacher job satisfaction.
