Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how much prevention from radical understanding and acts of terror in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 by using social cognition theory. In general, social cognition theory is able to understand, explain, and predict the behavior of individuals exposed to radical ideas and acts of terror in the industrial era 4.0. This is because based on the description of the theoretical concept that learning occurs in a social context with dynamic and reciprocal interactions of people, environment, and behavior. A unique feature of this theory is its emphasis on social influence and its emphasis on external and internal social reinforcement. This theory considers the unique ways in which individuals acquire and maintain behavior, while also considering the social environment in which individuals perform behaviors. This theory also takes into account a person's past experience, which is a factor in whether behavioral actions will occur in the future. These past experiences influence reinforcement and expectations, all of which shape whether a person will engage in a particular behavior and the reasons why a person engages in that behavior. In accordance with the theoretical concept, it can be described how someone who is exposed to radicalism and terrorism involves himself, his behavior, and the social environment.

Abstract

One of the most important components in communication is language, the international language that has been used so far is English. The role of the TNI AD also has an impact on an international scale, so a soldier is considered more capable when he can master international languages. The educational institution for Indonesian Army soldiers is the Military Academy which is responsible for the English language skills of cadets' achievements. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data source sample is 68 cadets from a population of 216 cadets. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that measured the level of cadets' English skills and was associated with the cadets' achievement scores. these results are the result of learning and experiences of visits abroad. The problem is the achievement and ability of the cadets' English language skills, as well as the influence of English language skills on the achievement of level IV cadets. The results of the correlation test, there is no relationship between mastery of English and the achievement of level IV cadets in the Akmil. The significant value is 0.566, it can simply be explained based on the limit of the significance value used is 0.05 where the test results are > of the significance value. However, with good or sufficient English skills, they have the opportunity to develop their experience around 83.3% are selected abroad.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of PPEPP culture in Akmil institutions in general. Problems related to the sustainability of PPEPP can be seen in EPP. Internal quality assurance at the Military Academy is an educational quality assurance activity that is carried out autonomously or independently to implement, control and improve the implementation of education for cadets in a planned and sustainable manner. The principle of autonomy/independence emphasizes that the Military Academy must develop its own Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in accordance with the historical background, the basic values ​​that animate its establishment, the number of study programs, human resources and facilities and infrastructure without interference from other parties. The basic thing that must be in SPMI is that quality assurance is carried out through 5 (five) main steps, namely Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control and Improvement, which is abbreviated as PPEPP. PPEPP for each Dikti standard will produce kaizen or continuous quality improvement (CQI) on all Dikti standards, so as to create a culture of quality. The quality culture itself consists of mindset, attitude patterns and behavior patterns based on Dikti standards. Apart from measuring the quality of education at the Military Academy, the quality of education in the Military Academy is measured by fulfilling each Higher Education Standard, but it must also be measured by fulfilling the interactions between standards in the Military Academy, to create a Quality Culture.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan gambara secara jelas bahwa masalah kunjungan wisata yang beberapa tahun sebelumnya sangat rendah bahkan sampai pada titik nol kunjungan. Hal ini membuat turunnya pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) kota Batam secara signifikan apalagi kegiatan pariwisata merupakan lima kategori menyumbang terbesar di Batam. Untuk menjawab peningkatan kunjungan dan bersamaan PAD Kota Batam dari kegiatan Pariwisata maka inovasi dan usaha nyata melalui manajemen 4A adalah kunci yang selama ini digunakan oleh pemerintah Kota Batam. Metode analisis data penilitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptip kuantitatif. Dua hal faktor yang kuat sebagai bagian terobosan inovasi dan usaha nyata, pertama fator pendorong dan faktor penarik. Focus dari penelitian ini pada manajemen 4A atau faktor penarik. Manajemen 4A yang dimaksud adalah attraction, amenities, accessibility, dan ancillary service. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjukkan peningkatan kunjungan pariwisata sangat eart hubungannya terhadap laju peningkatan PAD Kota Batam. Peneliti selanjutnya di harapkan dapat melihat dari factor pendorong seperti pada edukasi, interpersonal dan, fisiologis maka semakin lengkaplah dua sudut pandanga untuk mengukur inovasi dan trobosan yang dilakukan Permerintah di Kota Batam untuk meningkatkan PAD Batam secara signifikan dan berkelanjutan
