Abstract

Penundaan terhadap tugas-tugas sekolah dapat berdampak pada penurunan prestasi akademik siswa. Maka perlu adanya kontrol diri dalam belajar yang menunjang dalam pencapaian tujuan dengan mengatur waktu dan pengendalian sistem belajar yang dikenal dengan SRL. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan SRL dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa akselerasi. Subyek penelitian yang dilibatkan adalah siswa kelas XI program akselerasi SMA Negeri di Kota Malang dengan usia 13-15 tahun (N = 48). Pengambilan data menggunakan dua skala, skala SRL dan prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan negatif dan sangat signifikan antara SRL dengan prokrastinasi akademik dengan koefisien korelasi (r)= -0,73 dan (P)= 0,000.Kata kunci: Self Regulated Learning (SRL), Prokrastinasi Akademik, AkselerasiProcrastination could decrease student's academic achievement. Therefore student should have a good self-control in education by managing time & learning system control that also known in psychologically term as the Self Regulated Learning. The aim of this research is to know the correlation between SRL and academic procrastination of accelerated students. Subjects of the research were student who follow accelerating program in Senior High School at XI grade.The data collected with two scales, SRL scale and academic procrastination scale. The data analyze used product moment correlation. The result showed there was negative and very significant correlation between SRL and academic procrastination with correlation coefficient value is (r)=-0,73 and (P)=0,000.Keywords: Self Regulated Learning (SRL), Academic Procrastination, Acceleration
