Abstract

The nature of a family is not only as a gathering place for the husband, wife and children. More than that, family has significant function and role in determining the fate of a nation. Allah affirms that large losses on the judgment day are when we lose our beloved family. Allah said in Surah Asy Syuura verse 45 which meant: And you will see them brought to hell in a state of submission as (felt) worthless, they saw with sluggish view. And those who believe say: ?Indeed, those losers are those who lose themselves and (lose) their family on the judgment day. Remember, actually the unjust people are in eternal doom. Family improvement in all respects should be a top priority before we prioritize other. The quality of true family is not just obtaining good test scores or material, but how parents can transfer value, character and good trait to their children, so that they could live in a better society, and can dedicate themselves to The Creator. The reciprocation of a society and the state depends heavily on good or not the education in family. Preparing qualified family members synonymous with preparing for a successful future. And responsibilities of the establishment of quality are on the shoulders of the parents.

Abstract

The low reading culture in teachers has an impact on the low ability and interest in writing scientific papers, of course; also have an impact on the stagnant level of education and teacher’s rank. Nationally, most of the teacher's rank stops at group IV A. Because starting group IVA and above class increased, it requires the component of writing scientific papers, besides teaching component. The results showed that reading culture among Madrasah teachers who became the object of this research increased after the Grant Program of School Quality Component Assistance 3 Madrasah accreditation phase 2 of Indonesia Education Partnership to Australia. They are increasingly aware of the importance of improving the quality of self and improving the quality of Madrasah. Abstract

The virtual laboratory for electrochemistry materials has been developed. The characteristic of this virtual chemistry laboratory associated with the effect on students? achievement was analyzed. Thus this type of research was research and development by using ADDIE development model. In the implementation, the phase of the product was the quasi experimental method with a post-test only design. Classes used for this study were 3 classes, first-class using traditional laboratory, a second class using only virtual laboratory, and the third class using traditional laboratory and virtual laboratory as a supplement. All three classes were performed by the same teacher and the learning time. The instrument used to see the effect of the virtual laboratory was a test instrument. While the instrument used to assess the quality of the media was a questionnaire assessment. The results of this study were a developed virtual laboratory that can be operated via the web on smartphones and computers. In addition, the results of the assessment by the chemistry teachers stated that the virtual laboratory was in good quality and in classroom studies, the third and first classes showed significant differences. In the future research virtual laboratory as a supplement in other subject, matters can be developed.

This study discussed employee turnover as one of the crucial problems faced by every organization. This study sought to analyze the determinants of turnover intention, such as job insecurity, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The objects of this study were newcomer lecturers of private Islamic universities in East Java Province, Indonesia. To analyze the relationship among independent variables and dependent variable; this study employed a correlation path model. To build the structural formulation of the correlation path model, this study used the variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The study found that job insecurity influenced job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Moreover, job satisfaction and organizational commitment had positive impacts on the turnover intention. In contrast, job insecurity did not have a direct significant impact on the turnover intention, but it had indirect effect that influences job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Abstract

The study aimed at finding out in dept about the interaction between Problem Posing model assisted with Autograph Software with the student?s gender  to students' mathematical communication ability. This study used quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The approach used was a scientific one. The population of this study were all the Class X students of MAN Kisaran. The sample in this study were the students of class X-IPA1 and X-IPA-2 in MAN Kisaran of Asahan Regency. This study was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Data analysis was done by 2-way ANOVA test. Based on the statistical calculation, it can be concluded that the value of Fcount<Ftable is 0.778 <3.12. This shows that Fcount<Ftable(0.778 <3.12) is not significant so that it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected which means there is no interaction between learning with students? gender. The finding of students? actitivity aspects is based on direct observation. Female students are more active in learning but are weaker in reasoning, meanwhile Male ones are quick in reasoning but are less active in learning.
