Abstract

The Soeharto government became an interesting theme for nearly every research because of uniqueness of the rule known as the authoritarian nature. However, the uniqueness is only studied until the result of the authoritarian who has raised the anxiety of almost all the people and eventually led to the cessation of Soeharto as head of the State Indonesia. Judging from the perspective of law, the political transition of the period not only political influence, but also influenced the formation of law. This research will discuss about factors influencing absorption of Islamic Law into legislation. In the Order Baru era efforts to ground Islamic law into legislation experienced a variety of responses, both from among Muslims and non-Muslims. Factors affecting the absorption of Islamic law in Indonesia can not be separated from the perennial struggles and tensions in positioning religious relations (sharia) and the state, between the secularization project and the Islamization of the state and society. This tension occurs in two different important settings. First, the level of scholastic or theoretical-idealistic. Second, the realistic-politic or ideological-empirical level. The debate within the ideological framework has implications for the legal sphere debate. The same complexity is also encountered in internal Muslims because the meaning of sharia itself has its own problems. Where the mazhab of thought and Islamic legal system is not single. The findings of this research is the development of Islamic law in the Order Baru era seen from the legal products that serve as case studies in this study such as UU no. 1 year 1974 about Marriage born at the time of Indonesian political configuration is in otteriter political configuration, but the character of Islamic law product that produced is responsive. Likewise law products UU no. 7 of 1989 on Religious Courts, from the perspective of the formation of a law of responsive character because it is accommodative to Religious Courts institution which is an important part in institutional Islamic law in Indonesia, although UU no. 7 Year 1989 was born when the authoritarian political configuration and in terms of implementation of legal material is conservative. This is seen from the low attention of the political elite to realize the UUPA and even the existence of the institution has existed long before the formal law. In addition, the birth of UUPA is late compared to other judicial laws. Furthermore, the same thing happened to the Compilation of Islamic Law, the Order Baru governments configuration is still considered undemocratic. But in terms of content fully contains the provisions raised from the books of Islamic jurisprudence fiqh containing aspects of marriage, inheritance and perwakafan law. Abstract

This research try to answer on how students’ comprehension on surah An- Nur verse 31 and surah Al Ahzab verse 59 based on Al – misbah commentation. Women no need to wear hijab, in contrast to the academic role, according to the students’ contract, they have to wear hijab. After conducting the research discovered two perception First, there are some students who disagree with that especially the students with islamic education backgound (Islamic Dormitiry School and MA). Second, some of them agree especially the students from the general educational background (Senior high school and Vocational School).

Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the efforts that was made by STAIN Curup in improving the ability of students to recite the Qur’an through Tahsin al-qirâah courses. The goal was to determine how effective these efforts can improve the students to recite the Qur’an. This study was an evaluation which is a systematic scientific procedures that performed to measure the results of a program, whether or not the objectives planned is suitable. By collecting, analyzing and reviewing the implemention of the programs that was conducted objectively. Then formulating and defining the policy in advance to consider the positive values and benefits of the program. The informants of this study were the Head of STAIN Curup, Tahsin al-qiraah Lecturers, and the second or third-year students. From the result of research, it was found that the efforts made by STAIN Curup to improve students’s ability to recite al-Quran by requiring first-year students took tahsin al-qiraah courses was not very effective. It was shown from the low ability of the second and third students to recite al-Quran who have passed the course. 46.6% of students had low achievement. This happened because: (1) lack of time lecturing; (2) the lack of oversight and evaluation of the program by the Head of STAIN Curup, and (3) classification of students which were not based on the ability.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the thoughts of Abdurrahman Wahid about Islam and plurarism in political development in Indonesia, referring to the condition of the Indonesian nation that is difficult to live amid a climate of religious plurality, then he voiced the call for peaceful coexistence in the social life of religious communities in Indonesia. For Abdurrahman, with his keen thoughts on religion and nationalism, he directed his thoughts on inclusiveness in religious life. This paper is presented in the literature review. The results can be drawn from this paper, that the plurarism according to Gus Dur, namely the existence of awareness to know each other and dialogue sincerely so that one group with each other take and give. Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia, continued Gus Dur, has important values in creating harmony among peoples and achieve political stability in Indonesia. Abstract

Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis ( "Group informer") (Arabic: جماعة التبليغ , also called Tabliq) is an Islamic missionary movement with the aim of returning to the teachings of Islam as true. The main objective of this movement is to raise the spiritual soul in self and life of every Muslim to revive the deeds (tradition) which according to their perception has been exemplified by the Prophet and the scholars in the past. This article tries to explore the activity Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis of the psychological aspects of their members in the transformation of the Islamic values, religious person because attitudes also influence the attitudes and behavior of people. This paper also reveals how the ritual doctrines taught and religious activities conducted by Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis can shape the attitudes and followers behaviors, to discuss the authors use a psychological perspective.

Abstract

The science of Islam sourced from the Quran and Hadith should not be positioned in a place apart from other clusters of science, but should be put as a source of knowledge. The Quran and Hadith as the source of Islamic teachings serve as guidance (al-huda), explanation (at-tibyan), differentiator (al-furqan), and even healer (as-syifa). There are many mathematical studies in the Quran that describe the science integrated in the Quran. One of the Quran explains about mathematical concepts such as set, line, calibrate, integer, fraction, and circle. Mathematics is a central science in everyday life and mathematics has been introduced early on. Mathematics is the language used in the creation of the universe. Thus, to learn and understand the verses of Kauniyyah is necessary mathematics. Understanding of the universe will lead to the awe of the power of Allah SWT. In addition, mathematics is also capable of providing a deeper approach to understanding Qawliyyah verses. Muslim scientists contribute thoughts and findings on mathematics. Abstract

The main issues discussed in this study was to understand the development of religious life in children and adolescents, according to Zakiyah Darajat that religious life in children and adolescents had been developed in line with the development of their physical and psychological. While in the context of the education of children and adolescents, parents and educators must understand and recognize how well the religious development in children and adolescents. The purpose of this research was to find scientific theories which are concrete and valid related to religion on mental development in children and adolescents. This research is a libarary research with descriptive qualitative using the Analysis Contain Approach, which analyzes the theories from the up to date and authentic sources. The research result found that: the stage of religious development in children through three stages, namely; (1) The Fairly Tale Stage (Fables Level); (2) The Realistic Stage (Confidence); and (3) The Individual Stage (Individual Level). The factors that influence are: (1) The Education of the family; (2) Educational institutions; (3) The education of the society. The development of the religious life in adolescence was strongly influenced by the development of their psychological aspects, namely mental and mind growth, social considerations, emotional development, moral development, attitudes and interests which also affected by other factors such as; internal factors (heredity, age, psychiatric dissorders, and personality) and external (family, institutional, and community).

Abstract

The greatest asset of the Islamic Ummah is actually in a worship activity of economic and social value that is "wakaf". This paper is included in the research of library (literature) with reference to the argument of the Koran, the Hadith of the Prophets opinion of scholars and regulations (positive law) about the wakaf applicable in Indonesia. The result of the study that the alteration of wakaf land according to Hanafiyah is not permissible because the wakaf is forever and even Syafiiyah is more extreme to prohibit even though the property which is represented has been destroyed still become a waqf and he has belonged to Allah, while Malikiyah and Hanabilah allow if the initial wakaf property can not be utilized or not strategically or inconsistent with the wakafs wakaf pledge. While Law no. 41 on Waqf in Article 41 paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) are mentioned if the wakaf property that has been represented is used for public purposes in accordance with the general plan of spatial (RUTR) based on the provisions of the prevailing laws and regulations with sharia. Implementation can only be done after obtaining written permission from the Minister upon the approval of the Waqf Board of Indonesia. Wakaf possessions that have been amended because of the provisions of the exemption as intended shall be exchanged for property whose benefits and exchange rates shall be at least equal to the original wakaf property.

Abstract

This purpose of this article is to describe the Arabian History, the origin and critics on the deviation to the history done by Louis Awad to the Arab society. In the history, the arabian was related to the Semitic sociaty who descent from Sam bin Nuh. The data of this tudy is based on a library research with Muqoddimah Fi Fiqh al-Lughoh al-Arobiyah by Dr. Louis Awad as the main source. In his book, Dr. Louis Awad explains a contradictive explaination from the historical facts, he even avoid the facts. He assumes that Arabian is not related to the Semitic nation, but come from the Indo- Europian race. Further he said the origin of Semiyah is the Indo-Europian race. It is certainly a form of fraud, which aims to obscure the history, to demean the position of the Arabian, which is the ultimate objective, is to put the Arabic, the Quran in a low position.
