Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is an important part of early childhood development. The story as one of the storytelling method that raised the Islamic story to be a guide for children in stimulating spiritual intelligence. This method is relevant if used for early childhood, because they know the value is still using his imagination. As in the story can raise the story of the life of the Prophets, Rosul, as well as the companions who do have a good track record of morals. Hopefully the lesson or moral message of the story can inspire children to apply in everyday life.

Abstract

For early childhood learning now starting to grow rapidly. It can be seen from various types of media used by teachers. Teachers in early childhood schools is now quite a lot to convey the material in the classroom by using various methods present, but also did not close the possibility anyone is still using conventional media and methods. This study is essentially focused learning media use interactive CD to improve the language skills of young children. Interactive CD is one medium that is innovative and interesting to be introduced to the children. In the material presented via interactive CD can be made as attractive as possible, through animated pictures funny, folklore that contain a lot of history and interesting musical instruments. The material contained in the Interactive CD also needs to be inserted knowledge, insight, and value of character education in order to improve all aspects of a child's language skills. Thus, through Interactive CD child will feel happy in learning, and not feel bored

Abstract

In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach to design the type of comparative research, by comparing between two or more groups of a particular variable. The independent variables in this study is a tool to Play Motor Coarse and Fine Motor Media (X), while the dependent variable is the Cognitive Development (Y). In this study, respondents are children in group B second semester ECE Labschool Jember 2015/2016 school year. To determine the effect ofplaying comparisons of gross motor play and the media fine motor to the cognitive development of children in group B second semester ECE Labschool Jember  2015/2016 school year, the researchers used statistical methods of data analysis with Chi Kuadrat formula. Based on the results of research and discussion presented it can be concluded that the media fine motor further improve children'scognitive development compared with gross motor games. This is proved by the significant level of 5% value of Chi Kuadrat criticism is 3,841 less than the Chi Kuadrat empirical 18.17. Thus a significant means. So that the working hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. So there is a comparison tool influence play gross motor and fine motor skills towards early childhood cognitivedevelopment and age group of 5-6 Year ECE Labschool Jember Semester Academic Year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the validity of telepon kaleng game as a medium to stimulate the linguistic intelligence of early childhood, as well as to know the merits and drawbacks of telepon kaleng game as learning media. The research method used is research and development (R D). Development procedures include planning, design, and development. Product validation is done by alpha test, beta test, and final evaluation. Apha test is validated by an expert in material development and an expert in teaching-media development. Meanwhile, the subjects in beta test are students BA Aisyiah Yanggong and BA Aisyiah Wonoasri Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency. The result of this research is the development of telepon kaleng game as a media to stimulate linguistic intelligence of early child. The tools and materials used in this development are used-can, thread / rope, flannel, scissors, and double tape. Material experts and media experts have validated telepon kaleng products developed. From validation, the results need to improve the use of tin cans and the improvement of learning materials. In the next stage, feasibility testing for users in BA 'Aisyiah Yanggong and BA' Aisyiah Wonoasri Jenang Subdistrict of Ponorogo Regency, from the result of the experiment showed that telepon kaleng could be used to stimulate the linguistic intelligence of early child. These telepon kalengs, when used in unlimited form by children, stimulate linguistic intelligence more than IN structured-form. The merit of telepon kaleng as a linguistic intelligence stimulus medium is an attractive form of the child compared totelepon kaleng without any accessories. Children tend to prefer things that are bright and engaging. The drawback of this telepon kaleng, if it is used continuously, is that it will lead to monotonous learning process so it needs to alternate with other game equipment.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich traditional art and culture danpermainan. Cultural arts and traditional games are so diverse but many are endangered because there is nothing to preserve it. The longer, the Indonesian nation many know the game only through the written documentation. This is exacerbated by the current digital game technology that began to mushroom, and the change of social system in a more individualistic society. Thus it takes effort to keep preserve traditional games through the Early Childhood Education (ECD). ECD is an institution that supports the social system of friends to play traditional games. Curriculum development by adding themes Local Wisdom can be performed on all early childhood institutions in Indonesia so that our country is not experiencing a crisis of extinction of traditional games.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of playing sianida (sound, rhythm and tone) in improving the musical intelligence of early childhood in Dharma Wanita VI Kepung Kindergarten Kepung Subdistrict Kediri. The research method used the Nonequevalent control Group Design, in this design the control group experimental group was not chosen randomly. The experimental group consisted of 18 children and a control group of 20 children. Data collection techniques used  were  pretest and posttest, while data analysis techniques inferential statistic. The results showed significant effect of playing sianida(sound, rhythm and tone)  on early childhood musical intelligence. The results of the study can be used as a  recommendation to kindergarten owners to use sianida to improve early childhood music intelligence’

Abstract

Corruption and honesty become a rare item and hard to find. And the key to the success of a company is their honesty enforced by truly sunggh. This causes the importance of ethics in entrepreneurship, so that the application and development of early moral indispensable. Where early childhood is the foundation early in the formation of ethics as a whole, particularly the entrepreneurial ethic. So that habituation and moral development of early childhood, such as: honesty, discipline, confidence, and leadership can be established early on. In the moral development for early childhood needs to be done very carefully. This is because early childhood is children who are in the stage of development of pre-operational concrete, while moral values are concepts that are abstract, so that in this case the children are not able to necessarily accept what is taught by teacher / parent is abstract rapidly. For that "old man" must be clever to choose and determine the methods used to inculcate moral values to children. Ceenderung storytelling method is more widely used, because early childhood is usually happy when listening to stories from parents / teachers. One of the stories that match the entrepreneurial ethic is the paragon of our Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

This research motivated by the lack of teacher’s knowledge in the strategy of children beginning reading skills, because of that the ability on child's beginning reading skill are still low, there is no specific stimulation on the development of beginning reading skills that appropriate for children stages and ability, and also the process of reading lesson activities are still lead by the teacher as the center of activity, with one way mode trough the children. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability on children beginning reading by using word wall. This study uses an action research with two variables: the beginning reading ability (Y) and the word wall (X). The results showed an increase for overall percentage pre cycle only 30.8%, after the measures in the first cycle increased to 50.9%, and for the second cycle raised to 94.7%. From the second result, showed the highest percentage up to 100% was obtained by AI and QUI as the respondent and lowest percentage was 75 % obtained by JO as the respondent.

Abstract

The Curriculum 2013 entailed the importance of developing the physical ability (PA) of early age children (EAC). In fact, the standard measurement or instrument to assess the PA of early childhood has not been formulated yet to be used in the whole country. Therefore, it is required to develop the standard instrument to measure the physical ability of children. The Center for Japanese Studies, Research and Community Services of Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia collaboratively worked with HIMPAUDI (The Association of Early Childhood Education Indonesia) of District Karanganom in Klaten Regency to develop the standard achievement of Klaten's children based on the instrument of PA adopted from Japan. This program involved 21 ECE nurseries in Karanganom, and 70 instructors participated in the program. The activities were based on an action research aimed to change the mindset of related instructors on PA, connection between PA and cognitive development. It also trained the skills of instructors on measuring the PA. The program was conducted from July to September 2017. As the program ran, data of children' PA was also measured, and as the entry of database developed for Karanganom. There are five indicators of PA which represent the stability, locomotive, and manipulative movements, adapted from Japanese PA measurement. The results of database showed the average measurement of children' PA in Karanganom, and were compared to the Japanese peers, the achievement was lower. The instrument has to be validated and examined in the various regions and periods.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to improve the value of early childhood characters and to describe the increase in the values of the character through the arts reyog Ponorogo in BA Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo. This research is action research, the study subjects were 30 kindergarten students in BA Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo. The research location is in BA Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo. The collection of data necessary to support the research, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data obtained during the investigation which lasted analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively to obtain maximum results. The results show that through art Reyog Ponorogo increase in the values of characters in BA Aisyiyah Keniten can be improved. It can be seen from the increase in the values of the characters with respect and courtesy by 83% to 93%; collaborated character value of 80% increased to 86.7%; independence 87% increase to 96.7%, while for discipline 76.7% to 90%. For the love of God's character by 80% to 96.7%.
