Abstract

This qualitative study described how the leadership of the school principal on coaching students. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the leadership of the school principal on coaching students is all ready well planned, even there are some lacks and needs improvement.

Abstract

This qualitative study described in depth and comprehensive management of quality improvement of personnel performance in the field of manpower development in the Office of Education and Culture of Bengkulu Province. The subjects were principals, vice principals, and employees of school aministrasion. Data collection techniques used interview, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis technique. The results to ensure that every high schools in Bengkulu both state and private are managed based on national standards of education.

Abstract

This research aimed at analyzing the effect of leadership style and work atmosphere to the teacher's performance in Public Senior High School State in Bengkulu Tengah Regency. Leadership styles include: autocratic leadership styles, democratic leadership styles, and free leadership styles. Data collection was done using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Prerequisite test used is normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity, and independent test. The results showed that: (1) the autocratic leadership style has no effect to the teacher’s performance with significance test result of 0,05; (2) democratic leadership styles significant impact to the teacher’s performance; (3) free leadership style does not affect to the teacher’s performance; (4) work atmosphere significant impact to the teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study described the role of principal to improving teacher’s discipline. The problems in this research was the role of principal to improve teacher’s discipline at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah. The method of this research was descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were the principal, and eighteen subject teacher. The Data’s were collected through interviews, observations, and documentations. Data analysis was included data collection, reductioning data, display datato know how the role of the principals to improving teacher discipline 1 Bengkulu Tengah, Bengkulu Province. At last the research could be conclude that the role of the principals toimproving teacher’s discipline wouldl also increase the students discipline at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah.The role of the principal toimproving teacher discipline could be attributed to the principal's role as manager, leader, motivator, and supervisor. The example of the principal that has been applied by the headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah it has been referring to the discipline indicator namely objectives and abilities, leadership examples, compensation, firmness, employee loyalty. It has also referred to the indicators of the principal's leadership of mobilizing, directing, motivating and supervising.

Abstract

This research described how career development teacher SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. Specifically this research 1) described teacher’s assignment system according to functional position, 2) described teacher’s empowerment effort to be promoted, 3). to describe teacher promotion sistem. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The conclusion of this research that teacher career development at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma in improving teacher professionalism has been done well, where the principal democratically provides opportunities for teachers to develop the potential in a career to be promoted.

Abstract

This research described geographic Teacher’s perpormance at SMA Negeri 1 Kepahiang. This Research used descriptive qualitative method. Which emprasize on the real description and the truth of teacher’s perpormance in learning geography at SMA Negeri 1 Kepahiang. The main subject of this Research is geography Teacher’s. The result of this research indicate that teacher’s perpormance in learning geography had covered; 1) The design of learning geography had conduct by the 10­th grade socrety teacher’s with arrage the syllabus and learning implementation draft contarned: Subject indentity, Standard competence, Basic competence, Indicator of achievement competence learning pupose, lesson materrals, Time allocation learning method, Study resources, The study result assessment. 2) The geography learning implementation held from introduction, contetnt, and closing activities. 3)The geography learning evaluation had done by teacher appropriate with assessment orientation, and the development of result study with remedial and enrichment activities. Based on the result of this research it could be concluded that teacher perpormancein learning geography societyprogram wich heid by the geography teacher’s in 10th grade at SMA Negeri 1 Kepahiang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe student management that takes place in Public Senior High School Number 4 Kepahiang Regency. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data taken by interview, observation and documentation study. In this research the subjects of the study were the principal, the deputy headmaster of the curriculum and student fields and several students and study teachers and administrative staff at this school. This research shows that the ongoing student management process is in accordance with the scope of student management, and is prepared by the school in accordance with the technical instructions from the education office.

Abstract

This study described the school development plan in senior high school Number 2 Kepahiang. In the study used a qualitative descriptive method. While the subjects of this study were the principal, vice principal, teachers, administrative staff, parents of students, and students. In collecting data, the method used by the researcher is interview, observation, and documentation. then, the data collected will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques such as those proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that in general the plans for developing schools in Kepahiang 2 Public High School have not met the standard operating procedures that have been set.

Abstract

This qualitative study described the guidance and counseling planning in Kepahiang 2 High School. The results found that that the guidance and counseling program at Kepahiang 2 State High School was planned in advance, before the service was carried out by curriculum representatives who distributed foster students for each guidance and counseling teacher, according to a predetermined number.

Abstract

This qualitative study aimed at describing the role of headmaster in improving performance accounting staf in SMA Negeri 1 Kepahiang. The results of this study stated that role consist: First role of headmaster as administrator and leader have been put accross to utilize to support to make of accounting staff performance. Peculiarly can be concluded that is role of headmaster as leader done by various policy that is: using network system/LAN in management of administration, library base on Technology Informatika. Second role of headmaster as administrator done by arranging study administration, office administration and pupil, Officer administration, supply administration, financial administration and relation administration go to school with society. Third supplementary factor is available of adequate facility in solving of school administration, amount of accounting staff answer the demand for the management accounting of school, and basic facilities go to school very is supporting. Management study process and administration. Fourth factor Resistor is skill of accounting staff in management administration go to school not yet is adequate and the quality of human resource which still lower, education the accounting as according to profession not yet.
