Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal is a great scholar from India who influences the Islamic world, one of whose attention is on character education. To face the millennium era requires a strong and responsible person, and high motivation to achieve goals. A student who is still in a period of rapid development physically and mind easily affected from various things, both positive and negative. Therefore, a teacher must equip students with a character education with real and habitual examples. The result of character education habituation becomes the guidance of students in facing a challenging future and many changes. Seeing the condition of students in many countries of Indonesia are exposed to the impact of technology and moral crisis to make various circles to give attention and salvation in various ways and methods. Muhammad Iqbal offers character education to save and prevent students from moral crisis is through the formation of characters in the form of exemplary, self-potential development of students, and fosters the attitude of tolerance.

Abstract

This paper will discuss the nature, values ​​and strategy formation of character in Islam. See the environment around us, especially urban areas many children aged students do not have good character in their daily life, even every behavior there are no values ​​in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Like ditching school, fights and others, even educated people also often has a bad character, such as corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN). Everyone has the nature of the different characters, to the need for specific strategies so that everyone has the character that corresponds to the values ​​and norms of society and of course in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has indirectly influenced the world of education and learning in this country. These developments are fundamental and have brought significant changes in the acceleration and innovation of education. However, in addressing these developments, not all parties or circles are able to respond well. Therefore, to be able to give a positive impact, one that needs to be done is the development of information and communication technology that is done through the utilization of ICT in education that includes the role of ICT as the substance of education, learning aids, educational facilities, competency standards, administrative support education, education unit management tools, and educational infrastructure. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The method of data collection is: observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique using qualitative analysis. The steps in data analysis techniques include, data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study can be concluded that the development of information and communication technology in the field of student affairs in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik applied in terms of: acceptance of new students, reporting of learning outcomes, and student discipline control. In the field of personnel, technology is developed in terms of employee planning and staffing assessment. While in the field of finance is developing services in the field of finance by working with Bank BRI Syari’ah.

Abstract

This study discusses the problem of forming Islamic character of students at MTs Islamiyah Bulurejo Damarwulan Kepung Kediri. The approach in this study is a qualitative type case study. In collecting data used participant observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a model of several interrelated components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. To check the validity of the data used extension of research, persistence of observation, and triangulation. Efforts made in overcoming the problem of character building are inviting student guardians to be invited to discussions and given direction so that there is a balance of education in schools and in the family environment. Students who still do not reflect the behavior or character of responsibility and discipline by being called to the office when going home from school to be guided again about character education continuously until there are changes in their behavior. Maximize the habituation method. In this case the habituation method in the form of the regulation is by giving a punishment in the form of reading istihgfar, reading short letters, reading the intentions of praying and cleaning the bathroom so that students can be deterrent in addition to the punishment. educational.

Abstract

Abstract

Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) are part of the Muhammadiyah curriculum which teaches about Islam and religion in students who study at Muhammadiyah educational institutions, to introduce Islam and Muhammadiyah. In Muslim students, AIK teaches Islamic values ​​to be understood, internalized, and practiced to make it a way of life, both personal and community life. While AIK for non-Muslim students introduces Islam and the universal values ​​contained therein (Islam Rahmatan Lil Alamin). In the East Nusa Tenggara region there are 3 Muhammadiyah Universities with a number of non-Muslim dominated students. The three colleges are in Alor Regency, Sikka District, Maumere and Kupang City. In this study took 2 locations, the majority of which were non-Muslim students. First, the Muhammadiyah Maumere Teachers' Training College is in the majority area of ​​the Catholic community and the second Muhammadiyah Kupang University, the majority of which are Protestant. Both of these Universities are experiencing significant progress day by day on physical development and the number of students. This study aims: 1) To find out about the AIK curriculum and the Teaching Pattern for non-Muslim students; 2) To find out the response of students about the existence of AIK courses. The type of research used in this research is field research with descriptive qualitative research methods using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the interactive data analysis technique of Milles and Huberman models.

Abstract

method Problem Based Learning is one type of learning method based on cognitive psychology that assumes that learning is a process of changing behavior thanks to experience. Judging from the philosophical aspects of the function of the school as an arena or container to prepare students to be able to live in society, then this method is a possible and very important strategy to develop. Problem solving is seen as a process to find a combination of a number of rules that can be applied in an effort to overcome a new situation. So that this learning model as a way of presenting lesson material by making the problem as the starting point of the discussion to be analyzed and synthesized in an effort to find a solution to the problem being studied. Moreover, the use of the right method and approach will produce an understanding that can be tested to be used as a benchmark in conducting the next learning process, especially if using a problem-based approach in conducting a religious study by raising problems. At the same time, deliberation together in order to obtain answers to the problem with the classic books or the latest fatwas as a reference of the opinions put forward. In addition, the use of problem-based methods also has advantages over other types of learning methods, such as lecture and question and answer methods. Especially in solving various problems in the field of Masailul Fiqh or Bahtsul Masail.

Abstract

Education is very important for the development of life, improving the quality of life, both in terms of science, behavior, and uses in society, generally in the life of the nation and state. Therefore education must always be developed in accordance with the development and demands of the era, including Leadership Education. This is based on reality globally, nowadays the leadership of Muslims in the world is chaotic facing various trials and threats, the Islamic world is rocking due to the lack of satisfaction of their leaders. It is also intended that fitrah as a caliph in every human being can be functioned as it has been outlined by Allah in Islam. One of the efforts to improve the quality of cadres of leaders according to Islamic teachings is by reviewing and applying concepts that have been formulated by Kyai and education experts, as well as leadership that has been implemented by KH Imam Zarkasyi in his hut, so that his alumni have been active as leaders in this country. Recognizing the importance of KH Imam Zarkasyi leadership education which addresses leadership education in accordance with Islamic teachings, where on the one hand leadership is based on the Qur'anic Islamic values ​​and the Sunnah. From the results of this study, it can be seen that leadership education according to KH Imam Zarkasyi is based on the argument that humans are leaders who will be held accountable for their leadership. Whereas the function of the leader is to organize the totality of life, it requires a cadre regeneration institution that is deliberately formed to become an ideal place of life so that cadres will be formed and fostered a mindset, attitude and behavior as a leader by applying high discipline.

The decisions taken in TQME have different characteristics, because its priority is customer satisfaction. Therefore, decisions need to consider the global challenges, because it’s as well as sufficient influence customer needs and interests of educational services. The decision-making for TQME must consideration that is always be responsive and contextual appropriate with an indicator of customer satisfaction.
