Abstract

The ability to read early is an important ability given to children. Through reading skills, children will be able to gain other knowledge. Learning media is a tool for delivering material and facilitating learning activities. Learning to procure media to improve the ability to read the beginning that is appropriate for children's development is very necessary. Wrong-name learning media is one of the new media alternatives to improve initial reading skills. The purpose of this article is to add learning media to request the ability to read the beginning. And to add to the literature about the ability to read the beginning.

Abstract

Research on the Influence Motivation Study and Environmental Learning Against Achievement Learning Students showed that There is the influence of positive motivation to learn and environmental learn to achievement learn student . case is shown by the analysis of regression linear multiple , that the value of t count motivation to learn at 2.476 with significance 0.016 0.05 then H0 is accepted , and environmental learning has value t arithmetic amounted to 4.977 with significance 0.000 0.05 then H0 is accepted . While the value of F arithmetic amounted to 53.069, and the value of R square of 0.639 (63.9%). Relative contribution to the variable of learning motivation give a donation of 31% and variable environment study provides donations relatively amounted to 69%, the total contribution relative of 100%. Donations effective at variable motivation to learn by 19.81% and environment study by 63.91%, which means that the motivation to learn and environment study are jointly provide donations effectively amounted to 63.91% against the achievement of learning , and 36.09% of other variables not examined .

Abstract

The theory of early childhood education aims to expose and research the complexities of child education. The goal of the study was to define the philosophy of the Language Development Program based on the 2013 Early Childhood Education Curriculum. Data collection techniques in this study used direct observation and recording methods in the Lesson Plan in Language development program based on 2013 ECE curriculum, based on predetermined categories. Data sources in this study were all information written in the children's language development program which was prepared in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The data will be analyzed by Qualitative content analysis. The finding led to the discovery of the philosophical foundation of children language development program which are dominated by Progresivism.

Abstract

This paper is a part of a bigger research about the implementation of story project that attempts to develop children’s critical literacy skill. The discussion in this paper focuses at the implementation of Sundanese story dictation on a 5-year-old child. The present study aims to identify the process of the story dictation, which is conducted for the very first time as a method to help children in expressing their own-created stories. Case study was employed as the research method. The subject of the present study was a 5-year-old boy who speaks Sundanese fluently and can express his ideas orally, in an kindergarten in Kabupaten Bandung. Story dictation was the method used to enable the subject to create a Sundanese story. The data were collected through video-tapped observation, in-depth interview and teacher’s field notes during the process of story dictation. Subsequently, the collected data were analysed. The finding revealed that the subject was able to complete the process of the story dictation voluntarily and could express his own story fluently. The investigation has shown that the created story can be categorised as a very good one.

Abstract

The conclusion from eleven journals that discuss critical thinking, namely using various methods to achieve increased critical thinking in children. Of the various methods and methods used have their respective interests to attract attention to children to follow every step taken to improve critical thinking in children. Among them using puzzle games, role playing methods, scientific methods, experimental methods, introduction to the concept of hours, methods of play, of all the methods used, children can analyze, find out the cause and effect, find a way out of the problems they are doing in the activities or games that they do it by thinking critically or thinking broadly. It can be concluded that the nine journals that use the question and answer method can develop children's language, speaking skills, social emotional, learning motivation, and good communication. From all of the above, it allows children and teachers to establish good two-way communication, to optimize learning, also not forget to insert fun and interesting activities for children so that children feel happy and interested in activities as well as every communication that exists. With learning that is fun and interesting for children, the development of the children will increase optimally in the present and in the future. From all of the above, it allows children and teachers to establish good two-way communication, to optimize learning, also not forget to insert fun and interesting activities for children so that children feel happy and interested in activities as well as every communication that exists. Abstract

Learning media for young children is a tool used to introduce the theme as teaching materials or what is often called the curriculum for early childhood. The more sense tools are involved in the learning process, the more likely the child understands the information presented by the teacher. Recently, learning media still uses face to face methods or books. Meanwhile, early childhood is easily bored and more interested in new things. This research aims to develop a Learning media that used to introduce animals using Augmented Reality (AR) so that children can know the environment and food needed by the introduced animal. 83% of teachers and 91% of students enjoy using the application in animal recognition. KEYWORDS    Learning Media, Animal Recognition, Augmented Reality, Mobile Phone

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to provide an overview and influence of the project method on the stimulation process of linguistic intelligence of children aged 4-5 years at the Bina Karsa Kindergarten in Lampung Province. The research method used is Action Research. Data collection techniques carried out through observation, interview stimulation of linguistic intelligence through project methods. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques, namely, a complete description of the process of linguistic intelligence stimulation activities through project methods and quantitative descriptive, the results of the percentage of the effect of the project method on the success of linguistic intelligence stimulation with stages through Cycle 1, Cycle 2 and so on. Samples selected by children aged 4-5 years at Bina Karsa Kindergarten. Sampling through interviews with teachers and direct observation. Linguistic intelligence is the intelligence of language intelligence in processing words or the ability to use words effectively both verbally and in writing. Project method is a project method is one method used to train children's ability to solve problems experienced by children in everyday life. Based on the pre-research results, it can be concluded that stimulation of linguistic intelligence through the activities and use of media in accordance with the activities of linguistic intelligence stimulation, and the method often used is the method of storytelling and play. The method of storytelling is not enough in the stimulation process, a trial using the project method is carried out.

Abstract

This research shows determine whether there is influence of activity pop up book to the creativity of children ages early in TK Pertiwi Kwarasan Years Doctrine 2018/2019. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the activities of the pop-up book effect on the creativity of children aged early group A. The results of the analysis of the data of research that has been carried out , obtaining the results of scores observation of early development of the creativity of the child before conducted an experiment with the activities of the pop-up book is amounted to 169 with an average of 15.36, the value of the highest 21, the value of the lowest 12 and Standar Deviation = 3.264.

Abstract

abstract :Speech ability is a person's ability to express, convey, express and say something that is in someone's thoughts and feelings. The ability to speak has an important role in the success of socializing someone, because through speaking skills one can communicate and interact with people around him. Abstract

Perspective taking is used by a child to understand the feelings or conditions of others and show affective response that is similar to what is felt by others. Children aged 5-8 are in the peak of developing their ability to recognize and understand others. As an attempt to develop such ability, teachers can perform the activities of picture story book reading that contain moral values to students. The present study aims to find out the differences in children’s perspective-taking skills before and after the activity of story book reading.The research used experimental design. The subjects were the students of TK Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The instrument used in this study was developed by the researchers. Prior to its implementation, construct validation was done resulted to the value of Content Validity Index (CVI) = 1.00. It showed that the instrument had good value and fulfilled the expected elements.The findings show the difference in the perspective-taking skills of children aged 5-8 years as indicated by the results of the pre- and post-experiment, with the mean X.1 = 21.75 X.0 = 19.28. It implies that the activity of story book reading is effective in enhancing the perspective-taking skills of a child.
