<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the perception that people living around the forest areas in conserving forest habitat preservation especially of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis). Communities around the region are not yet aware of the importance of wildlife reserves mainly habitat the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis). Local communities know of the existence of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis) in their area which is about 84.3% and most of them know by direct presence of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis) in the amount of 67.1% but the local people do not know about nature conservation and habitat the long tail monkey ie 71.4% and most of them without intentional conduct habitat destruction and very little involved in conservation of the long tail monkey, including the open field activity of 60%, logging 52.9% and it does not matter to extinguish the flames during a wildfire that is 82.9%. It needs a continuous program and continuous from the relevant stakeholders to provide socialization to the local communities so that people can know about the conservation of nature and habitat of the long tail monkey, in the short term is necessary to rescue of the long tail monkey habitat that has been there from further damage.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose of this study is to analyze that the homosexual marriage in accordance with human rights which is just and civilized, and to determine the homosexual marriage according to the marriage act and the perspective of Islamic law. The method used is a method normative considering that this study emphasizes that the secondary data that is studying and reviewing principles, materials and positive legal principles that of the materials libraries that exist in legislation marriage law and human rights law in Indonesia. Results from this study showed that the homosexual marriage in the name of human rights it violates human rights itself. Because the rights that should be fought is right according to the nature of natural and ordained by God, since man was created in pairs regarding marriages recognized by the state is only marriages between men and women can also be seen in Article 34 paragraph (1) of the Act Number 23 the Year 2006 concerning population administration.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the low of students’ reading ability on the second-grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya. This research uses the descriptive method. The population in this study were all students of class II Which are divided into two classes: II-A and II-B are numbered, 34 people. The sample in this study is the entire study population totaling 34 students. The results of the study are the dominant factor until very low dominant of reading ability of the second-grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya, that students in reading did not pay attention to punctuation there are 34 students or 100%. Students do not understand the sentence he read there 32 students or 94.11%. Students do not know how to read, there are 22 people or 64.70% of students. Students in reading omit letters or words there are 22 people or 64.70% of students, and students error pronounce the letter that sounds similar to the letters b and p there are 21 students or 61.77%.]]>

<![CDATA[Determining of the harvest of onion in the peat soil can be done by using physiological harvest criteria, but calculating the appropriate of harvest time can support the quality of harvesting of the onion plant. This study was conducted by using polybags in research and experiment gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya from April to June in 2016. The given fertilization was an organic fertilizer in peat soil by using stall fertilizer like chicken feces with dosages of 15-30 tons ha-1 (PK) and bokashi of stall fertilizer of chicken feces with a dosage of 2-5 tons ha-1 (BK). The observation was done to the calculation of daily temperature (°C), the average of daily temperature (°C), and the unit of heat (heat unit) (°C day) as long as the cultivation of onion plant. The results showed that the harvest time that appropriate to the harvest physiological criteria in the treatment of BK at the age of 57 days after planting is relatively accurate and appropriate because it has a heating unit for 947,17oC day, and the harvest time that appropriate to the harvest physiological criteria of PK treatment at the age of 59 days after planting is relatively late because it has a heating unit for 978,09oC day.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims at knowing: (1) influence of working satisfaction on work spirit lecturer and employee University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, (2) influence of fieldwork on work spirit lecturer and employee University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, (3) influence of working satisfaction and fieldwork collectively on work spirit lecturer and employee University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Research is done in the official University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya RTA Milono Street Km 1,5 Palangka Raya Central Kalimantan. Variables will be researched: (1) Free Variable (Working Satisfaction and Fieldwork), and (2) Bound Variable (Work Spirit). The population is all lecturers and employees in the official University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya which amount more or less 100 people in this research. 100 populations were made as a group based on their work section, they are 65 lecturers and 35 section of personnel. Data collection uses a questionnaire and documentation. This data is supplied in form of frequency distribution table, then to identify inclination each free variable and bound variable uses ideal average score (M) and ideal standard deviation (SD) then it is determined classification. Research result was: (1) Working satisfaction of lecturer and employee on the official University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya had enough inclination, (2) There were significant influence of working satisfaction on work spirit, (3) There was significant influence of fieldwork on spirit work, (4) There were significant influence on working satisfaction and fieldwork collectively on working satisfaction.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study; 1). to know the relationship of the principal leadership to the teacher’s professional competence at Junior High School of Palangka Raya city; 2). to know the relationship of teachers’ attitudes to their work, and 3). to know the relationship of principal leadership, teachers’ attitudes to their work with the teachers’ professional competence at the private Junior High School of Palangka Raya city. These results showed that: 1) there is a significant relationship with the leadership of the principal with the economic teachers’ professional competence at the private Junior High School of Palangka Raya city. It means that the higher the level of the principal leadership, it will be followed by the higher of the professional competence of the teachers. Conversely, the lower of the leadership of the principal, the professional competence of the teachers will be lower too; 2) there is a significant relationship of the teachers’ attitude to their work with the economic teachers’ professional competence at private Junior High Shool in Palangka Raya city. It means that the higher of positive teachers’ attitude to work, the professional competency of the teachers will be higher, and vice versa; 3) there is a significant relationship of the principal leadership and teachers’ attitudes to their work with economic teachers’ professional competence at the private Junior High School in Palangka Raya city.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to know about the difference of unfair score based on item response theory referred to the model of students’ answers scoring of Junior High Schools throughout the city of Palangka Raya. The samples were taken from 17 state and private Junior High Schools throughout the city of Palangka Raya. Furthermore, the students’ answers were corrected by using scoring models, namely punishment score and correct score. Before doing the test to take the data, the data had to be validated first, both in the content and the empirical data. From the 40 test items, they have obtained 30 valid items. To obtain the proportion of fair score, it was used the estimation using BILOG-MG program. Furthermore, the data were analyzed with the different proportions (Z) of the two groups. The results of the data analysis showed that Zcount is -2.806, while Ztable is -1.65 so Zcount rank outside the receipt area of H0. It shows that the students with the scoring models of punishment score encompass the score that more than the scoring models of the correct score with a significant difference in the proportion. It can be concluded that the students who were corrected by using scoring models of punishment score have a fair index better than the fair index of the students were corrected by using scoring models of correct score.]]>

<![CDATA[Cultivation of chili is a farming activity promising an interesting profits and the market demand for the chili is high. Many chili farmers in controlling pests use chemical pesticides because it is considered more efficient and fast, actually the chemical pesticides do not kill insects’ pests, but it creates a new form of defense for insects’ pests. In another effort to find alternative pesticides are expected to be more lenient, then developing the manufacture of pesticides made from natural materials exist around the neighborhood, known by name "botanical pesticide" or "organic pesticide", because of almost all the ingredients derived from plants. The purpose of this study was to control brown leaves insects’ pests on chili by using citronella extract. The time in doing this study was as long as from October to November 2016. The study was done on Jl. Meranti IV Panarung Village, District Pahandut, the city of Palangka Raya. From the results of the experiment of several concentration of extract of citronella 25 ml, 50 ml and 75 ml and 100 ml mixed with clean water for pest control of brown leaves insect on the chili, factually, by using concentration of citronella extract of 75 ml and 100 ml mixed with clean water, it can be reducing brown leaves insects’ pest.]]>

<![CDATA[California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is the ratio between load penetration of a substance against a standard material with the depth and penetration of the same speed. While Unconfined Compression Strength (UCS) is the amount of axial load per unit area at the time of the test specimen to collapse or when the axial strain reaches 20%. This study aimed to compare the CBR and UCS clay stabilized sand and cement for the pavement. The results showed that the CBR value increases, the value rises with increasing UCS cement mix. Then when the stabilization of clay with a mixture of 12% sand and 10% cement values obtained UCS at 9.06 kg/cm2 and CBR of 66% thus, stabilization of clay Bukit Rawi qualify for base down the highway because of the value of UCS 9.06 kg/cm2 > UCS 6 kg/cm2 and CBR of 66% > 20%. UCS and CBR rise in value is due to that the addition of semen into adhesive media when it reacts with water. Media adhesive is then solidified and formed a hard mass so it would hold weight.]]>
