Abstract

The objective of every education in Islam is that it helps molding good character (akhlaq) of the educated, equips rum to face life here in this world and hereafter simultaneously, prepares him to keep and maintain the spirit of perusing knowledge, encourages him to seek and make new discovery (intellectual curiosity), furnish him with skill that suit his talent and ability, teach them to have a sense of responsibility in their life as a servant of Allah and as social being, and invite them to reflect and understand the wisdom behind the creation of universe and make use of it.

Abstract

lbn Jauzi sees that soul which constitutes the essence of human being is divided into three important elements which influence each other. They are the element of reason, of anger, and lust or passion. Reason is of two sides, a virtuous side of it is knowledge and the vicious one is ignorance. The element of anger similarly has two faces, the good and the bad. The good side of it is firmness, while the bad side is cowardice. The passion also consists of two aspects. Its good aspect is that it keeps soul from something bad or negative, whilst its bad aspect is that its inability to control itself from the temptation of the soul. According to Ibn Jauzi, the important thing in education is that it educates soul which is in essence is to purify it from anything which can tarnish at so that at become pure and (nafs thahirah).

Abstract

The process of akhlaq education in education circumstances nowadays was narrative and verbal, the cognitive parts defeated the implementation process. The methodology existed hadn't have push and preventive effects to students to respond akhlaq education. In Islam perspective, akhlaq related to the teachings and Islam sources itself, revelation. Therefore, attitudes and akhlaq assessments always related to shariah and its rules. Akhlaq in Islam perspective has samawi values that based on Al-Qur'an. Akhlaq could be understood by leaned to the law and five shariah laws: wajib, sunnah, mubah, makruh, haram, because there are the realities of akhlaq.

Definition of curriculum of education (manhaj al-dirasah) in Tarbiyah Dictionary is a set of planning tools and media that used by educational institutions in achieving education goals. Curriculum making in lslamic education principles must citated lo education goals.
