Abstract

Exposure free radicals in the activity of this life can not be avoided, included exposure free radicals from food additive espesifically Rhodamine B. Carcinogenic effect of Rhodamin B can be caused by Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons structure that are destructive to the liver as metabolism organ. The purpose of this study was to prove the antioxidant activity of Honey Propolis against liver damage caused by exposure of Rhodamine B as free radical sources. Indicator of liver damage can be indicated by MDA, a marker of oxidative stress that occurs in these organs. The methode was used experimental methode, with seven treatment groups, namely: (1) normal group, (2) the induction of Rhodamin B without propolis therapy group, (3) the induction of Rhodamin B with Honey Propolis therapy with three dose levels are 350 mg, 700 mg and 1050 mg that are given at intervals of two hours after the administration of Rhodamine B (4) Honey Propolis therapy groups are given at interval of 1 week aftertheadministrationof RhodamineBwiththreedoselevels.MDAlevelsweremeasuredbyTBARS method. The results showed that the levels of Malondialdehyde declined steadily in the group treated with honey propolis to less than control groups. There are significant differences in MDA levels between the treatment groups Honey Propolis therapy (p = 0.034, p <0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that Honey propolis dose 700 mg act as therapeutic agent in liver damage due to exposure of Rhodamine B significantly.The results ofthis studyprove thetruth ofthe Quraninthe QS. Al-Nahl (16): 69of thewonders ofhoneyin preventingliver damagedue toexposure tohazardous substancesin food.

Abstract

This article is an important part of the exploration of the development of local treasures related to the beliefs and behavior of traditional village midwives towards supernatural beings. The midwives in East Banjarmasin have a belief that there are supernatural creatures called supernatural beings, besides genies and angels. Their relationship with this supernatural person is very close, because supernatural people are part of their kinship. This supernatural person is believed to have taught them to massage through dreams. This creature can become an animal. Unseen people are people or humans who are God-idolized, can the time in the womb disappear by itself, or after birth disappear. The behavior of traditional village midwives towards these occult people is that they always establish kinship, by giving offerings in the form of bitter coffee, sweet coffee, water, sticky rice, eggs, bananas, red and white porridge. In Islam it is not explicitly talked about this supernatural person, there are only supernatural beings (genies and angels). It could be that in Islam the occult is grouped into genie, because genie means hidden, and the occult is also hidden. But according to the author, if there is a magic person other than the genie, then there is an Al-Quran verse that supports implicitly, namely in the Surah An-Nâs verses 4-6. That is the whisper of evil hidden into the chest (heart), not ears, and which whispers it from the genie and human.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menggambarkan khazanah lokal yang berhubungan dengan kepercayaan serta perilaku bidan kampung terhadap makhluk supernatural. Menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan observasi, peneliti mendeskripsikan pendapat dan persepsi Bidan Kampung di Kota Banjarmasin  yang memiliki  kepercayaan adanya makhluk supernatural yang disebut orang gaib, selain jin dan malaikat. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa hubungan mereka dengan orang gaib ini sangat dekat, karena orang gaib bagian dari kekerabatan mereka. Orang gaib inilah yang diyakini telah   mengajari  mereka memijat melalui mimpi. Makhluk ini bisa menjelma menjadi binatang.  Orang gaib menurut pemahaman luas berupa orang atau manusia yang digaibkan Allah, bisa waktu dalam kandungan hilang dengan sendirinya, atau setelah lahir menghilang. Perilaku bidan kampung terhadap orang gaib diketahui selalu menjalin hubungan kekerabatan,  dengan cara memberi sesajen berupa kopi pahit,  kopi manis,  air putih,  nasi ketan, telor, pisang, bubur merah dan putih. Dalam  Islam tidak  secara tegas dibicarakan tentang orang gaib ini, yang ada hanya makhluk gaib ( jin  dan malaikat). Bisa saja dalam  Islam orang gaib itu dikelompokkan kepada jin, sebab jin artinya tersembunyi, dan orang gaib itu juga tersembunyi adanya. Namun menurut penulis,  apabila orang gaib itu benar ada selain jin, maka ada saja ayat Al-Quran yang mendukung  secara tersirat, yaitu pada surah An-Nâs ayat 4-6. Yaitu bisikan kejahatan tersembunyi ke dalam dada (hati), bukan ke telinga, dan yang membisikan itu dari golongan jin dan manusia.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper attempts to show that a democratic order is not built onthe procedural ethics as assumed by liberals, but it is required a substantiveethical foundation. The reason is the democratic system is not contained ofatomistic individuals without social relations. A democratic process always movesin a society characterized by social relations and the various formation pro-cesses of complex communities. Democracy is built on formal yet fragilecollective identity. In the context of Indonesia, Pancasila is an expression of thecollective identity. As a collective identity, Pancasila has no ends and always inthe process of being and find themselves in a new way. At the end of thepaper, two methods; deliberative and agonistic democracy method are pre-sented. These methods are offered by contemporary political philosophy inresolving conflicts of value in the middle of pluralism.

Abstract

The manifestation of human superiority as ‘ahsan al-taqwim’ can be interpreted as the process of developing the level of "inner aspect" of the human called ‘nafs’. In this context the dimensions of ‘nafs’ or soul that exists in the human still leaves a long discussion to be examined further for the purposes of parsing, forecasting and controlling human behaviour, either individually or in groups, both in relation to the field of ‘da'wah’ or education, for the benefit of mobilizing society in nation-building. Therefore, a research on the concept of ‘taswiyah al-nafs’ in the development of the human person becomes important to be conducted. The results has shown that in the process of ‘taswiyat al-nafs’, besides having the freedom of will and choosing between ‘fujur’ or ‘taqwa’ tendencies, man also have the moral responsibility implied as a subtle command and indirectly to take and choose ‘taqwa’. It is because, the essence of ‘taqwa’ is the mastery, control and self-preservation of ‘al-ahwa'. ‘Taqwa’ as an effort of mastery, control and self-preservation is a prerequisite for the process of human development as a civilized being. The effort is essentially a process of an endless human self-development to reach the ideal of ‘insan kamil’—a perfect man reflecting the names and attributes of God—‘al-asma'ul-husna’.

Abstract

Knowledge integration has been studied as the process of incorporating new informa- tion into a body of existing knowledge with an interdisciplinary approach. Language is not only the object of scientific study of linguistics, but also the object of study of other related disciplines. The importance of language in many studies and disciplines of knowl- edge has led to its status as a condition sin qua non to true understanding of other scientific objects of disciplines of knowledge. The mastery of Arabic language for ex- ample is a must for the study of Islamic religious texts. The religion of Islam places language on a very high position that it is explicitly mentioned in the Quran as one of the signs of the existence of God.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas suatu bentuk kearifan lokal dalam kajian budaya hukum Islam yang berkembang di kalangan Muslim di Amerika Serikat, negara di mana mereka menjadi warga minoritas. Mengikuti Clifford Geertz dan ahli-ahli lain yang memahami hukum sebagai bagian dari kebudayaan, artikel ini berpendapat bahwa tradisi keagamaan sebuah komunitas pada akhirnya akan tumbuh dari konvergensi bermacam-macam tradisi yang dibawa oleh para individu Muslim dari kebudayaan asal mereka masing-masing. Malalui sebuah proses yang disebut dengan teritorialisasi, berbagai interaksi budaya dalam sebuah komunitas akan mengarah pada pengelompokan tiga macam tradisi: tradisi yang terus berlangsung, tradisi yang disesuaikan, dan tradisi yang disimpan. Praktek lokal sebagaimana yang disaksikan oleh penulis dalam penelitian lapangannya di kalangan Muslim kota Lansing, Michigan dapat dikategorikan sebagai tradisi kelompok kedua. Lebih jauh, kearifan lokal semacam ini telah ditemukan juga oleh para sarjana Muslim yang lain di Amerika. Di antara sarjana dimaksud, adalah Taha Jabir Al-Alwani yang mengajukan tawaran fiqh al-aqalliyyat, yang berisi himpunan praktek-praktek ajaran Islam yang mengalami penyesuaian terkait dengan status warga Muslim yang merupakan minoritas di negara tersebut.Abstract: This article discusses a type of local wisdom in the field of Islamic legal culture that is developing among Muslims of the United States as they are minority in the country. Using Clifford Geertz’ and others’ understanding of law as part of culture, this article is arguing that the eventual religious tradition of a local community will grow from the convergence of varied traditions brought by individual Muslims from their cultures of origin. Following a process called territorialization, cultural interactions within a local community will result in the production of three religious traditions: the continuing, the improvised, and the suppressed traditions. Local practice as witnessed by the writer in his field research among Muslims of Lansing, Michigan is categorized as part of the second tradition. Further, this kind of local wisdom has been observed among American Muslim scholars. Among them is Taha Jabir Al-Alwani who has proposed the term fiqh al-aqalliyyat for the collections of new practices of Islamic teachings that are related to the status of Muslims being minority in the country.

Abstract

Jika sebagian kalangan feminis muslim menolak riwayat hadis yang menyebutkan tulang rusuk sebagai asal-usul kejadian perempuan pertama kali karena secara tidak langsung menyimbolkan posisi sub-ordinasi bagi perempuan, sebagian kaum sufi, justru memanfaatkan riwayat tersebut dalam penjelasan mereka dan memaknainya secara positif.  Kaum sufi justru menilainya sebagai simbol saling ketergantungan, cinta kasih, dan keberpasangan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Penulis dalam tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam pandangan kaum sufi, perempuan semenjak awal penciptaannya telah ditakdirkan untuk menjadi pasangan bagi laki-laki, sehingga antara keduanya jadi saling melengkapi dan saling ketergantungan. Pandangan ini, tentu saja menepis anggapan tentang subordinasi bagi perempuan.  Pandangan kaum sufi dalam kasus ini sejalan dengan apa yang dikemukakan oleh kaum feminis muslim kontemporer. Namun demikian, berbeda dengan langkah yang diambil sebagian feminis muslim kontemporer, kaum sufi pada umumnya lebih memilih menggunakan ta’wȋl sehingga memberi makna positif ketika memahami hadis-hadis yang menyebutkan asal usul penciptaan perempuan ketimbang mereka harus mencurigai para periwayatnya atau bahkan menganulir hadis-hadis Nabi yang dinilai sahȋh oleh mayoritas ulama.If some Muslim feminists reject the tradition that argues that the Prophet Adam’s ribs as the origin of the first female event for it indirectly symbolizes the subordinate positions for women, some Sufis instead use the narratives in their explanations and positively interpret them. The Sufis judged the notion as a symbol of interdependence, love, and belonging between men and women. The writer in this paper concludes that in the view of the Sufis, women, since the beginning of their creation, have been destined to become a partner for men, so that between the two become complementary and interdependent. This view, of course, dismisses the notion of women’s subordination. The Sufi’s view in this case is in line with what contemporary Muslim feminists have argued. However, in contrast to the steps taken by some contemporary Muslim feminists, Sufis generally prefer to use the ta'wȋl to provide a positive meaning in understanding the traditions which mention the origin of women's creation rather than to suspect their narrators or even annul The Prophet hadiths considered valid (sahȋh) by the majority of scholars.

Abstract

Pengajaran kitab turats sebagai salah satu komponen pesantren menjadi karakteristik utama Pondok Pesantren Ibnul Amin Puteri (PPIAP) Dzuriat K.H. Mahfuz Amin Pamangkih. Penguasaan kitab turats merupakan sarana untuk tafaqquh fî ad-dîn. Ilmu alat dan mufradât bagi pesantren ini dianggap sebagai alat utama untuk menguasai kitab turats. Penggunaan bahasa Melayu dalam pengajaran kitab turats dapat memudahkan santriwati memahami dan menguasai alat utama tersebut. Meskipun bahasa Melayu tampak unik dan janggal jika dipadankan dengan bahasa Indonesia sekarang, penggunaan bahasa Melayu ternyata berkontribusi besar bagi pemahaman santriwati terhadap gramatika dan kosakata bahasa Arab. Tulisan ini ditujukan untuk menguak keberterimaan bahasa Melayu dalam pengajaran kitab turast di PPIAP Dzuriat K.H. Mahfuz Amin Pamangkih.

Abstract

As mentioned in 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia article 1(3), Indonesia is a country of law. Reformation era has changed law system in Indonesia and given a big opportunity for law enforcement, espe- cially for advocate profession other than judicial power. As we know, advo- cate profession has been regulated in Laws No. 18 Year 2003 about advocate. According to that provision, advocate is in position as law enforcement, free and Independent which is guaranteed by laws and regulations, so that the exist- ence has the logical consequence that the advocate is aofficium nobille and have the same or equal position with other law enforcement authorities whom au- thorities also been determined by the laws and regulations in Indonesia, such as judges, prosecutors, and police. Sometimes ago , there were problems in regu- lating professional advocate which had caused heated debate among legal ex- perts, legislators and legal practitioners. It is because a submission of a draft of Law to amend the provisions of Law No. 18 year 2003 about the advocate.Kata Kunci : Advokat, Profesi Terhormat (Officium Nobile), Sistem Negara Hukum Indonesia.

Abstract

Imam Syafi’i merupakan tokoh multi keilmuan di bidang keislaman. Ia  menguasai sastra, tafsir, hadis, fiqh, ushul fiqh dan lainnya. Bahkan untuk bidang keilmuan yang disebut terakhir, ia dipandang sebagai peletak dan  penyusun bidang kajian ushul. Namun di atas segalanya, ia adalah pendiri mazhab al-Syafi’i yang banyak dianut oleh mayoritas masyarakat muslim di dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Di antara karyanya yang fenomenal di bidang fiqih adalah kitab al-Umm. Dalam penulisan kitabnya, Imam al-Syafi’i menggunakan sistematika penulisan berdasarkan tema tertentu dan selanjutnya menguraikan bahasannya dalam bentuk bab dan sub-bab bahasan. Dalam mengistinbat hukum, Imam al-Syafi’i menggunakan dalil al-Qur’an terlebih dahulu baru kemudian hadis dan qias. Terdapat beragam pandangan terkait keaslian kitab al-Umm sebagai karya Imam al-Syafi’i namun pendapat yang kuat bahwa kitab tersebut adalah karya al-Syafi’i meski tidak ditulis langsung olehnya.
