Abstract

Online learning is one form of network utilization that can develop the way of students in the education process. The descriptive analysis of this study examined students' perceptions of online learning models related to interactions between students and lecturers, learning motivation, and student learning environments to support them produce better result from online teaching and learning activities. The sample in this study are 128 students in one of the universities in Bengkulu who have been involved in online learning during the Coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. Based on questionnaires that have been investigated, the researchers found that students had problems interacting with other students as well as lectures. This is demonstrated by a upper percentage of 65.62% students' disapproval of statements stating that student interaction in online classes already supports them in the learning process. Meanwhile, 52.34% of students have very high learning motivation even in quarantine due to covid-19. As well as the learning environment, 70.31% of students felt that the learning environment is less supportive of them in the learning process of teaching in online learning. Therefore, in support students to increase their interactions and learning environments, lecturers can create groups on social media to communicate and improve the atmosphere of the learning environment between students and the others.

Abstract

Acculturation is a form of cultural change caused by contact or cultural groups, which emphasizes the acceptance of new cultural patterns and characteristics of indigenous peoples by minority groups. The acculturation of Islamic culture and local culture in Mambabei Ana' culture gave birth to various social values ​​in the social interactions of the community. Mambabei Ana' culture is an example of associative social interaction that leads to unity and cooperation in society. The research method used in this thesis is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, equipped with technical data analysis using data reduction, presentation and verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of the Mambabei Ana' culture in Uhaidao Village, Aralle District, Mamasa Regency is carried out with several ceremonial activities through three stages, namely the preparation stage (mappaissang, mokaju, ma'baje/sokko, and ma'bungkungkus); implementation stage (pegereang beke, pegereang manu, pambeengang sanga, and pa'bacaang barazanji); and the closing stage (ma'tarakang, and pambacaang prayer). 2) There are several social values ​​that exist in the acculturation of Mambabei Ana' culture, Uhaidao Village, Aralle District, Mamasa Regency, namely mutual cooperation, mutual assistance, togetherness, compassion, unity and praying for each other. 3) The implications of social education in acculturating Mambaaei Ana' culture, Uhaidao Village, Aralle District, Mamasa Regency, namely education on social awareness, social harmony,

Abstract

A Learning Development Of Beauty Skill Program At A Vocational School In Preserving Local Wisdom. Objectives: The research is to analyze the learning development of beauty skill program at a vocational school in preserving local wisdom. Methods: to employ a qualitative approach with an analytically descriptive method towards two-state vocational schools in Kabupaten Bandung and Bandung city. Library research, in-depth interviews, a document study and observation were carried out to gather data. Informants were chosen by using a snowball technique, the findings, then, were examined and analyzed by using management theory by Deming, curriculum theory of social reconstruction and learning theory of constructivism by Vygotsky. Findings: Learning development planning of beauty skill at a vocation school in preserving local wisdom is designed by formulating vision and mission, arranging curriculum, providing more productive teachers and improving learning facilities. Learning development implementation is made by achieving student’s competence, involving experts and industrial and business world. Learning development is supervised by the Department of Education, Branch Department of Education West Java Provincial Government and school superintendent. The problem faced in learning development is the lack of productive subject time allotment, human resources and qualified teachers understanding local wisdom. The improvement is by enhancing industrial and business world cooperation and teaching factory, collaborating with professional, experts and practitioner organization, using subject time allotment and extracurricular activities. Conclusion: By learning development of beauty skill program in preserving local wisdom, it affects the quality improvement of graduates who have high awareness towards local wisdom, educational service improvement and the achievement of learning development implementation and the learning quality improvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (a) to identify learning using the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using product-oriented modules in vocational education. (b) to know the level of effectiveness of learning with the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using a product-oriented module in Vocational Education. This study used research related to this study, which were all students who were taking the Decision-Making Technique course. The number of research samples was 60 people (2 classes) of the 2018 Business Administration study program as a field test, 9 people as a small group test and 3 people for an individual test. The results showed that from the material expert, 4 aspects were assessed in the material expert test, namely the material aspect, the quiz question aspect, the linguistic aspect and the implementation aspect. The material aspect has a higher percentage value than the other three aspects, namely 85.45%, then the questions and quiz aspects and the implementation aspect have 80%, while the linguistic aspect has 60%. With this percentage value, the overall assessment of the material experts assesses that this learning media was considered "Eligible" to be developed. Based on the results of the t-test calculations, data obtained that tcount> ttable or 5,868> 2,0172 or in other words H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning on practice course with Product-Oriented Module was higher than students who were taught without using Learning Method of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules with the effectiveness of using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules of 88,5667% .

Abstract

The National Assessment policy, well-known as Asesmen Nasional (AN), as the replacement for the National Examination, had been implemented. The Minimum Competency Assessment or Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) is a part of AN, which examines the reading, numeracy literacies and the cultivation of good character for the students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the implementation of AKM faces challenges for every educational system in improving the literacy rate among the students. Therefore, learning media is highly required which following the needs and the characteristics of students as well as the environmental condition so that it can be used for either online or offline learning. The research purpose is to develop a digital product of illustrated storybooks to prepare the students in facing the AKM. The research and development process is according to the ADDIE model, with a quasi-experimental trial design. The digital illustrated storybooks are designed based on the competency achievement of AKM, particularly the reading and numeracy literacies. The research result shows that the product of the illustrated storybooks demonstrates the criteria according to the needs, characteristics and environmental conditions. The digital illustrated storybooks are also considered suitable for the students, lead the students easily understand the content, attractive and effectively used in the learning process for the First Grade of elementary school students. Furthermore, the digital illustrated storybooks are proven to help the students in improving the reading and numeracy literacies in accordance with the achievements in the AKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy for achieving superior accreditation of higher education institutions (excluding study programs). The research design used is a descriptive-quantitative study. The research was conducted at Bina Bangsa University during the institutional accreditation field assessment (AL) on August 13-14, 2021. Data analysis used nine criteria for university accreditation assessment assessed by BAN-PT. The results of the study found that the design of superior accreditation in higher education can be done by: 1) compiling a Self Evaluation Report (LED) that is congruent with the Higher Education Performance Report (LKPT) without any discrepancies with each other, 2) universities need to form institutions and carry out quality assurance seriously, 3) maximize the value of each item of accreditation fromCriteria A, B, C1--C9, and criteria D; 4) trying as much as possible to fulfill all the physical evidence needed to meet each of the existing criteria, 5) trying to provide answers to assessors during interview sessions both to the Foundation, Chancellor, middle leaders, lecturers, students, employees, alumni, cooperation partners and users .The novelty of the research is shown from the superior accreditation design related to the difficulty in meeting the accreditation criteria for colleges and study programs. This study suggests that every university should continue to make improvements in order to obtain superior accreditation by implementing good design.

Abstract

has affected all sectors, especially the education sector. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of learning in schools which was initially carried out face-to-face must be abolished and replaced with online learning (in the network). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of online learning on students' motivation and economic learning achievement. Researchers obtained data from questionnaires distributed to 47 students of SMA class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya as online respondents. Research subjects were selected by random sampling method. Questionnaires were used to determine the effect of online learning on motivation and economic achievement in class XI students. Based on the results of the study, online learning does not provide too significant obstacles for students in understanding the subject matter and does not make students' learning achievement in economics decrease. In some students, the motivation to study economics decreases because they cannot understand the subject matter delivered by the teacher which is not optimal and does not vary so that it has an impact on student learning achievement. Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a TPACK-based module (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) to support the development of students' concept knowledge in PPKn (Pancasila and civic education) online learning for grade 7th. The development of the module adopts the steps of the ADDIE model. To test the feasibility level of the module, material experts, learning design experts, teachers and students as users of the product were tested. To measure effectiveness of TPACK module to develop students' concept knowledge, paired t-test is adopted. The results of data analysis show that the learning module developed has a very high level of feasibility, namely according to material experts 95.8%, learning design experts 82.4%, teachers 97.2%, students in individual trials 90.8%, small group validation 92.6% and field validation 88.1%.

Abstract

This research aims at Investigating the Language Learning Strategy Used by English Department Students at Madako University. The type of this research is qualitative research. The samples were 15 students at B class which were selected purposively. Its data were collected through questionnaire. The result showed that students used all the strategies including memory, cognitive, compensation, metacognitive, affective and social strategy. The most strategy used by the students were metacognitive strategy. And it showed, students used metacognitive strategy (20%), followed by the social strategy (18%), compensation strategy (16%), affective strategy (16%), cognitive strategy (15%), and memory strategy (15%). The result also showed the students were categorized as high language learning strategy users.

Abstract

Distance learning is held as an effort to continue to present the teaching and learning process for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many students admitted that they were not happy with the implementation of distance learning. This study aims to describe the development of Animaker application-based learning videos on the YouTube channel as an alternative to distance learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a Design-Based Research (DBR) model. This study shows an overview of the stages of developing a learning video which includes needs analysis, material preparation and product design according to the learning objectives to be achieved, product implementation, and evaluation. Questionnaire technique is used as a method of collecting data at the stages of needs analysis and evaluation. At the needs analysis stage, the researcher gave questionnaires to 114 students who took part in learning Islamic Religious Education by distance learning or online, while at the evaluation stage, validation was carried out by two experts and the video learning trial was conducted by six students. The material expert validation in the two learning videos developed received very good and proper predicates (92% and 87%) from material experts. Meanwhile, the validation of media experts received very good and proper predicates (94% and 94%). Then, the results of student assessments in small groups showed good scores with an average score of 90% with very good and decent predicates. This indicates that the learning video developed is suitable for use as an alternative learning media during the covid-19 pandemic.
