Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid reasoning ability test instrument. This research is a research and development conducted using the four stages of the ADDIE model. Instrument validation is carried out by experts. The results of expert validation showed that overall the test instruments obtained good categories. The results of empirical validation show that five questions are valid and obtain a CVI of 1. Test instruments are carried out to measure reasoning ability. The measurement results show that the average value of students' problem solving skills is 18.18 with the highest value of 35 and the lowest 7.5 with a scale of 0-100     Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen tes kemampuan penalaran yang valid. Tahapan tahapan yang diambil oleh peneliti menggunakan model ADDIE yang sudah diteliti dan dikembangkan. Validasi instrumen yang sudah dilakukan oleh para ahli menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan instrumen tes memperoleh kategori baik. Hasil validasi empirik menunjukkan bahwa lima soal valid dan memperoleh hasil CVI sebesar 1. Hasil dari instrumen tes yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran menunjukan nilai rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswa untuk memecahkan sebuah masalah yaitu sebesar 18,18 dengan nilai tertinggi 35 dan terendah 7,5 dengan skala 0—100

Abstract

Abstract The teacher's attention in choosing the learning media used is an important discussion. Therefore, an analysis of students' needs for learning media was carried out. The aims of this study were to 1) find out the learning media used by teachers during the learning process; 2) get the difficulties faced by students in learning physics; 3) suggesting learning media that need to be developed on the torsion concept material in high school. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis technique. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) research approach with reference to a 3-D model (define, design, develop). This research is an initial research so that only the refine stage is carried out. The results of this study are 1) the learning media used by teachers are very diverse, in this case as many as 18% use learning videos, 18% use videos from YouTube, 18% use PPT, 8% use modules, 14% use worksheets, 16% use handbook and 8% use of educational websites; 2) as many as 84.21% of students feel that they have obstacles in learning physics due to the complexity of the material that contains formulas that make students quickly forget to remember the teacher's explanations and how to answer questions and the lack of direct practice so that it requires extra understanding; 3) as many as 94.74% of students stated the need for contextual-based comics as a medium of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of physics E-LKPD with a Problem Based Learning model on impulse and momentum teaching materials according to the syntax and to determine the feasibility and student responses to the product. This type of research is research and development developed by Sugiyono that is simplified into eight stages. The subjects of this study consisted of two physics education lecturers and class X students of SMK Tamansiswa Jetis. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study are E-LKPD with Problem Based Learning Model on impulse and momentum teaching materials which were developed according to its syntax. Based on the results of the feasibility assessment analysis, it is known that the E-LKPD with the PBL model on impulse and momentum teaching materials shows the percentage of Very Good (SB) 71% and Good (B) 29%. While the results of the analysis of student responses, the percentage of Strongly Agree (SS) 20%, Agree (S) 73% and Disagree (TS) 7% on the components of material coverage, presentation, language and contextual.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the quantity of students who misconceptions on the material of Straight Motion. The research subjects were 30 students of class X MIA 1 of Yogyakarta SahabatQu High School with purposive sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with data collection techniques carried out by triangulation namely documentation of test results, interviews and questionnaires. The research instrument used was a three-tier test. the results of the most frequent misconception sequences were found in vertical motion (26%), speed and speed (18%), GLB (17%), distance and displacement (16%), and GLBB (15%). Based on the results of the interview showed the same thing.

Abstract

The development of the industrial world in the current porous era, which continues to develop in various fields, certainly makes human life easier and full of challenges. In line with the rapid industrial progress, the need for electricity as an energy source is increasing. One of the household electricity needs is the use of an inverter which functions to convert 12 Volt DC voltage into 220 Volt 50 Hz AC voltage. This inverter functions as a backup electricity provider for both vehicles and household needs, as emergency power when the household electricity goes out. In this study, a Simple Inverter (IS) device will be made using IC 555 as a voltage generator needed in Electronics I learning, in which students learn about concepts and their applications. The purpose of this research is the design of IS teaching aids used to increase the voltage in the physics learning of Electronics I by determining the input power and output power. This type of research is development using a 4-D development model. The results of the IS tool test with product feasibility tests from 2 media experts and material experts with an average score of 4.64 or 94.2% and responses from 4 students with an average score of 4.73 or 95.8% so that it is included in the very good category. The average measured input power (63.0 ± 0.5) Wh and the resulting output power IS Innovation (2191 ± 0.5) Wh which means IS works at a Power Gain of 34.8 on a 5 Ah 12 V motor ACCU, with The power capacity used per 60 W is around 15.5 minutes and for ACCU 60 Ah 12 Volt it is around 3.1 hours

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategori dan korelasi antara kemampuan berhitung, gaya belajar, lingkungan sosial dengan prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif korelatif yang bersifat Ex Post Facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 108 siswa kelas X semester gasal SMA Stella Duce 1 Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berhitung termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, gaya belajar termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, lingkungan sosial termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, dan prestasi belajar fisika termasuk kategori sangat tinggi. Terdapat korelasi yang positif dan sangat signifikan antara kemampuan berhitung, gaya belajar, dan lingkungan sosial dengan prestasi belajar fisika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara deskriptif dan komparatif bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan dan perbedaan prestasi belajar fisika pokok bahasan gerak lurus siswa kelas X semester I SAM Taman Madya Ibu Parwiyatan Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dengan media elktronik dan cetak. Sampel diambil dari seluruh populasi yang ada. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan tes. Validitas butir soal diuji dengan korelasi product moment. Reliabilitas instrument diuji dengan rumus KR-20. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian secara deksriptif menunjukkan dengan media elektronik pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan dengan media cetak pada kategori sedang. Secara komparatif ada perbedaan yang siknifikan antara menggunakan media elektronik dengan media cetak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa serta untuk mengetahui kualitas prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan randomized control-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 4 Samigaluh Yogyakarta TA 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran CPS terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Prestasi belajar fisika siswa dengan model pembelajaran CPS termasuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional termasuk kategori sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan gabungan tes esai dan objektif serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara penggunaan tes esai dan objektif secara gabungan dengan secara terpisah dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar fisika siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 198 siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Karanganyar TA 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penggunaan gabungan tes esai dan objektif lebih efektif dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar fisika siswa ditinjau dari tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, distraktor, validitas, reliabilitas, dan respon siswa. Hasil belajar dengan gabungan tes esai dan objektif termasuk kategori tinggi; dengan tes esai dan objektif secara terpisah masing-masing dalam kategori rendah dan sedang. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan: hasil belajar fisika dengan gabungan tes esai dan objektif lebih tinggi daripada dengan tes esai dan objektif secara terpisah.
