Abstract

This research is motivated by the high achievement achieved by the participants of the martial arts training at Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat College Agam Regency Branch in every championship event or festival that he participated in. This can be seen from the achievements of the Pencak silat training participants who competed both at the city, provincial and national levels. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high achievement achieved by the participants of the martial arts training at Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat College Agam Regency Branch was due to the use of effective and efficient learning methods from the trainer. This study aims to describe the process of using instructional methods by trainers in the training activities of Pencak Silat in Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat Education Agam District Branch which is generally seen from several aspects, namely: 1) training objectives, 2) training materials, 3) the ability of trainers and 4) resources and facilities available. The approach used in this study uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The population was 69 people and samples were taken by 52 Pencak silat training participants using a sampling technique that is stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to all research samples. The data analysis technique used is the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that based on aspects in the use of learning methods in martial arts training as a whole looks very good. This is evidenced by the large number of Pencak silat training participants who provide alternative answers and responses "agree" and "strongly agree" on each of these aspects. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the trainer can maintain the use of learning methods in every training conducted.Keywords: Learning Methods, Training, Pencak Silat

Abstract

This research is motivated by the success of entrepreneurship cooking skill. The purpose of this study was to describe the responses of learners to instructional communication of cooking instructor in cooking instruction in the explanation of learning materials, initial ability assessment, strategy setting, and feedback. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in the study amounted to 15 people. The sample in this study is the total number of respondents. Data collection techniques used were interviews, while data collection tools used interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The result of the research showed that the respondent's response to instructional instruction of instructor in (1) explanation of learning material of cooking cake training is categorized very good, (2) assessment of early ability of learners of cake cooking training categorized very good, (3) instructional strategy stipulation cake cooking training categorized very good, (4) feedback cooking cake is categorized very well.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low motivation of learning of students MDA Miftahul Jannah. It is suspected that one of the causes is the use of limited learning media. This research aims to: (1) describes the use of learning medium according to students, (2) describe student’s learning motivation, (3) describe whether there is a relationship between learning medium according to students with learning motivation. The type of this research is quantitative research with a correlational type. The number of population in this study is 70 people. In the sampling technique used stratified random sampling, the sample amounted to 35 people. In collecting data, the techniques used are interviews, and in collecting data used tools such as interview guides. In analyzing the data used the percentage formula and product moment. From the results of the research, it can be seen that in the Miftahul Jannah Jorong Tiakar MDA, Sub-District Guguak District Lima Puluh Kota, (1) the use of instructional media is classified as less and limited, (2) learners' learning motivation is low, (3) between the use of learning media according to students with learning motivation there is a significant relationship.Keywords: Learning Medium, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh prilaku moral anak yang masih rendah di PAUD Habibul Ummi II Koto Panjang.  Hal ini terutama disebabkan karena metode dan media yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar tidak bervariasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prilaku moral anak dengan menggunakan metode bercerita dengan media gambar orang-orangan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah anak umur 5-6 tahun sebanyak 10 orang yang belajar pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian terdiri atas dua siklus teknik yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan persen. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan prilaku moral anak dengan metode bercerita menggunakan media gambar orang-orangan dari siklus I dan II. Harapan dari penelitian ini adalah pendidik anak usia dini dapat menggunakan metode bercerita menggunakan media gambar orang-orangan untuk meningkatkan prilaku moral anak agar berkembang dengan optimal.

This research is backgrounded by successful TPA this even out learning process, visually of acquired achievement per annum, oldster support and citizen motivation studies that excelsior. Abstract

This research is motivated by the high learning outcomes obtained by citizens learning in the craft skills training program at PKBM Diknaker. Researchers suspect that the high learning outcomes obtained by learning citizens, are influenced by the high discipline owned by citizens learning handicraft skills in PKBM Diknaker. This can be seen from the discipline of citizens learning mental attitudes, understandings and behavioral attitudes. This study aims to illustrate the discipline of citizens learning in the craft skills training program at PKBM Diknaker. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used was a census, all populations were sampled 20 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. From the results of the study it was found that: the discipline of learning citizens towards mental attitude was categorized as good, understanding was categorized as good, behavior was categorized as good. Based on this research it’s recommended that the manager to maintaning and improve the dicipline and motivate resident for develop the skills of residents.Keywords: Discipline, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bagusnya lembaga BKBNurul Fikri Kota Padang, hal tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya peserta didik yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang lulus di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN). Diduga karena kinerja pendidik yang baik dalam proses pembelajaran di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kualitas pembelajaran, kesesuaian tingkatan pembelajaran dengan tingkat perkembangan peserta didik, aspek insentif, dan  aspek disiplin waktu. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik tingkat SMA kelas X, IX IPA,dan IX IPS yang masih aktif di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang yang berjumlah 119 orang. Sampel diambil sebanyak 40%.Jumlah sampel adalah 46 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, sedangkan alat pengumplan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: (1) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kualitas pembelajaran dikategorikan sangat baik, (2) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kesesuaian tingkatan pembelajaran dengan tingkatan perkembangan peserta didik dikategorikan sangat baik, (3) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari aspek insentif dikategorikan sangat baik, dan (4) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari aspek disiplin waktu dikategorikan sangat baik. Saran: bagi pengelola dan pendidik diharapkan untuk dapat mempertahankan fasilitas dan kinerja pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low performance of instructors in providing training material. Seen that the instructor delivered the material did not attract the attention of the participants, the method used was less attractive both from the participants' perceptions and participation. This study aims to reveal how participants' perceptions of learning resources, in following DIKLATSAR in KSR PMI UNP unit. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with a population of participants who are registered as members of DIKLATSAR. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The results of the study stated that: (1) participants' perceptions of instructors were classified as low; (2) Participation of participants is poorly classified; (3) There is a significant relationship between participants' perceptions of the instructor and their participation.Keywords: Instructor, Perception, Participation

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini ditulis untuk menggambarkan peningkatan kemampuan anak mengenalhuruf yang terdiri dari beberapa aspek yaitu (1) menyebutkan bunyi huruf dengan benar(2) menyebutkan huruf awal dari nama benda-benda yang ada disekitarnya (3)menyebutkan huruf akhir dari nama benda-benda yang ada disekitarnya (4)menggabungkan huruf menjadi suku kata (5) menggabungkan suku kata menjadi kata.Penelitian ini menggunakan tindakan kelas. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah anakPAUD Kenanga I kelompok B sebanyak lima belas orang. Instrumen penelitianmenggunakan format observasi. Setelah melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan,pengamatan, dan refleksi data dianalisis menggunakan presentase. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan kemampuan anak mengenal huruf melalui media tutup botol hias padaSiklus II meningkat sangat tinggi sebesar 93%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the personal characteristics of students (learning citizens) and the business potential that is relevant to life skills education programs at the Community Learning Center in Tanah Datar District. This study uses a descriptive quantitative survey method. This study uses 60 samples from 120 population people. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively descriptive, then clarified with the focus of group discussion (FGD), interviews, observation and verification of documentation. The results showed that participants in the life skills education program in several Community Learning Centers in Tanah Datar District were generally of productive age with adequate formal education (high school level), from pre-prosperous families, and did not have a permanent business. Based on the search for interests, existing skills, and other environmental resource potentials, the appropriate business developed in the future is a business that produces goods from the agricultural sector and goods from business dress, sewing or embroidery skills.Keywords: Life Skills Education, Personal Characteristics, Business Potential
