Abstract

The aim of this research  were to develop and determine the attractiveness, convenience, usefulness, effectiveness of student worksheets based on guided inquiry on heat material. The research development method used in this study refers to the method development by Sugiyono, namely: Potential and problem analysis, Information collection, Product Design, Design validation, Design revision, Product testing, Product revision, Usage trial, Product revision, Mass production. This step was started by conducting questionnaire filling addressed to the  science teachers and students of VII class at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono. The product’s design validation evaluation was conducted by the design experts and content / learning material experts. Furthermore, product trial were conducted on 7 students using one by one test, that states this product has excellent quality of attractiveness, the quality of convenience is very good, and the quality of usefulness is good. The usage trial was conducted in one sample class consisting of 34 VII students in SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono. The results of testing the attractiveness got an average score of 3.19 in the attractive category, the convenience got an average score 3,20 in the convenience category, and the usefulness got an average score 3,38 in the very usefulness category. The result obtained from the use of this trial is the post-test score, so that the percentage of students' mastery of learning fulfilled the Minimum Passing Grade by 85%. Based on this analysis, the worksheets developed can be used effectively in the learning process.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum requires student-centered learning. The teacher as a facilitator needs to prepare student-centered learning. The teacher prepares learning that emphasizes the thought process. Creative Problem Solving (CPS) models can develop students' thinking abilities. Teachers are expected to be able to develop teaching materials that are appropriate to the character of students. Teaching materials developed improve students' thinking skills. Teaching materials provided should also be able to increase student awareness of the nation's problems. One of Indonesia's big problems is corruption. Learning in schools is expected to instill anti-corruption character, one of which is integrating learning. This research is research and development. In this article is a part of the design of the teaching material that was developed. The data collection technique used is a prototype review of teaching materials developed. Analysis of the data used descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of instructional material design based on the CPS model. The science teaching materials developed are based on the syntax of the CPS which consists of: identifying objectives, collecting data, sharpening questions, collecting data, formulating solutions, and implementing solutions. In addition to the teaching material developed it is also integrated with the anti-corruption character in each step of the problem solving that is displayed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of class XI students in Lubuklinggau 6 Model State Senior High School 2018/2019 Academic Year after using contextual-based Physics teaching material for Static Fluid students and to find out the students' response to learning using contextual learning material Static Fluid class XI students in high school Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau Model 2018/2019 Academic Year. The sample of this study consisted of 23 students of class XI IPA 4 of State Senior High School 6 Model Lubuklinggau. Data collection is done by interview techniques, questionnaires, tests, and observations. The overall percentage of teaching material components is 81.82% (very good). The percentage of student responses to contextual-based teaching materials is 79.78% (very good). In addition, from the results of daily test results, the effectiveness percentage of 86.95% (very good) of students who received scores above 70 out of 10 test items. Data analysis technique used was t-test Calculated value> t table with the value of t count = 3.69 and t table = 1.717. The results of the average percentage of students in the affective realm of 89.40% (very good) and the results of the average percentage of students in the psychomotor realm of 91.30% (very good). The percentage of student responses to learning using contextual learning is 91.07% (very good). So that the use of contextual based teaching materials can be said to be valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

The purpose of the research determine the learning outcomes for Class X Students of SMA Negeri Tugumulyo Academic Year 2019/2020 after using to physics-based teaching materials on the Scale And Measurement for Class X Students of SMA Negeri Tugumulyo Academic Year 2019/2020. Subjects in this study were all class X IPA and the subject of broad group research in this study was class X IPA 5 SMA Negeri Tugumulyo Academic Year 2019/2020 consisting of 33 students taken with simple random sampling technique. Data collection was done by tests. Daily test results 82% of students obtained scores above 73 out of 10 test items. Because of three there were students absent then the table value with degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 = 30 ─ 1 = 29 and α = 0.05 t count = 2,80 and ttable = 1.699 because t count ≥ ttable then Ha is accepted. So it can be said that the developed contextual to the learning approach book is effective.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills (CTS). This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 31 students of Class XI MIPA in one of the high schools in the city of Banjarmasin. The instrument is in the form of 6 CTS test items that measure 2 sub-indicators, namely drawing conclusions from the results of investigating and evaluating (formulating alternative solutions). Descriptive data analysis by describing CTS on the two sub-indicators. The results showed that the CTS of students at this time were still in the low category, which was marked from the percentage of 2 CTS sub-indicators namely drawing conclusions from the results of investigating and evaluating (formulating alternative solutions) which was still low under 10%. Further research needs to be done on CTS which is allegedly capable of being trained through an inquiry model based worksheets.

Abstract

Research has been conducted to determine the effect of scientific attitudes on student achievement in the Department of Physics Education at the University of Papua. This research is an associative descriptive research that describes the results of measurement of scientific attitudes and student achievement. The sample in this study were 21 students who filled out a scientific attitude questionnaire distributed via Google Form. Data collection techniques used are non-test techniques and documentation. Non-test technique in the form of giving a scientific attitude questionnaire to students. The questionnaire is filled in online through a Google form that is designed so that students can fill out whenever and wherever they are. The documentation technique is in the form of tracking student achievement indexes through Papua University's integrated sistem page. The results of the assessment of student responses were analyzed using Rusch modeling using the Winstep application. Spearman's rho analisis technique is used through the SPSS application to determine the effect of scientific attitudes on learning achievement. The measurement results of the influence of scientific attitudes on the Grade Point Average (GPA) obtained significance value of 0,539 is greater than the significance value of 0,05 which indicates that there is no significant effect between scientific attitudes on student GPA. The scientific attitude of students also obtained relatively low results. The low measurement results indicate that students of the Department of Education at the University of Papua need to be trained to develop their scientific attitude.
