Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This research was aimed at describing the implementation of drill method in increasing the students’ abilities to read and play the rhythm. This research was a qualitative one. The results of the research have explained some rhythm drills as follows: (1) drill of the basic tempo, (2) the form of foot and hands gestures and rhythmic syllables, (3) how to read rhythm patterns using gestures, and (4) train students to read the songs partiture with the appropriate rhythm. It has been proven that drill method can increase the students’ ability to read the rhythm and the notation appropriately, especially for the students of VIIIB at SMPN 1 Bukittinggi. Keywords : qualitative study, drill method, rythm.

Abstract The purpose of thisd research is examine the perception of the society towards the evening keyboard show (organ tunggal) held at a wedding party. This research was a descriptive qualitative one. The data were collected through an observasion, interviews, a library based research, photographs, and reconrdings. The result of this research showed that the society in general had a positive perception towards the show including the keyboardist and the party hlder. Tha show is regarded as free and fun entertainment which provides a place for the youth to garher and a side job for the keyboardist or the singer to do however. Negative perception towards the show was raised among people enganged in religious parties and the society figures. For them, the evening keyboard show is not a goog deed to watch, it is an evil thing indeed. Kata kunci : persepsi, masyarakat, organ tunggal, pernikahan

Abstract This research aimed to show the cause of the appearance two versions of art Rentak Kudo for wedding celebration in Rawang village. Method of research is qualitative. The collecting data : 1) Literature study 2) Observation 3) interview 4) Documentation 5) Photography. The analysis of data classified by using Primer Data and Sekunder Data, after separated then arranged sistematically. The result of research got that there are two versions of Rentak Kudo because the change os sense of community between each of Rentak Kudo versions have their own supporter. Abstract This research was aimed at investigating and describing Gebane in a wedding ceremony. This research was a qualitative one. The findings have explained Gebane as a music art which uses Gebane as a membranophone music instrument to assisst songs of which lyrics found in Bezanggi (Al-Barzanji). Gebane in a wedding ceremony in Kampung Pulau is a kind of music ansambel in Berandam, Khatam Quran, Cecah Inai, Hari Langsung (to carry the brides and grooms to their houses). The songs lyrics are Ushalli and Annal. The elements which are related one another in the form of an art show include the instrument players, costumes, music instruments, time, place, and the audience. Abstract The aim of this research was to reveal the implementation of peer-tutoring method in arts and Music learning process at SMAN 4 Muara Bungo. This was an applied research in which in this research the research the researcher applied per-tutoring method by using qualitative method. This method was suited to the learning materials of the semester. The result of the research indicated that the application of peer-tutoring method in Rangkayo Hitam song especially those related to legato, cengkok, and vibration technique could improve the students’ learning achievement. The improvement could be seen from their average score which was above the minimum standard score (SKM) 71. Kata kunci: Siswa, kemandirian, tutor sebaya, bernyanyi, hasil belajar

Abstarck This research is aim to get, to process, to analyze, and inrstigate data about correlation betwen study motivation and parent’s anttention to the study result of musical art in subjeck cultural art SMP N 8 Payakumbuh 2012/2013. Kind of research that use is correlational description. Population in this research is all student in grade VIII who study musical art in SMP N 8 Payakumbuh. There are 214 students. This research use 24 students. Instrumen that use is closed sample. Before doing the research, the first step is doing try out to considered validity and reliability the research instrumen. There are two analysis that use. They are (1) Descriptive analysis that aim to see mean, standar deviation, presentation, the number of group and interval. (2) Inferential analysis aim to test the hipothesis. The result show that (1) Variable of student motivation is good. (2) The correlation betwen study to study result is significant with contribution about 29% to variant variable of study result. (3) The correlation betwen parent’s attention to study result is significant with contribution about 18% to variant variable of study result. (4) The correlation betwen motivation and parent’s attention together are significant with contribution 29% to variant variable of study result. Keyword: Correlation ,Motivation, parent’s attention

Abstract This study includes all of the experiments penelitiaan draft only randomized control group design with sampling techniques used are Culster sampling. To get results on the cognitive learning to use the test results to learn, for the affective and psychomotor used observation sheet. The study's findings that student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain to obtain the experimental class average - average 80.82 while the control class has an average - average 70.79. Abstract This research was aimed at revealing the use of modeling method to improve the student’ skill in playing recorder.The subject of the research was the students in class VIII6of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman registered in academic year 2012-2013. This was a classroom action research.The result of the research indicated that there was an improvement on the student’ learning achievement after the method applied. In pre-cycle, the average score of the students was 68,14286 and it improved into 73,85714 in the first cycle. In the second cycle it became 82. Thus, it can be concluded that the modeling method could be used to help the students in learning. Keyword: teacher, student, recorder music,modeling method.

Abstract The aim of this research was to describe the use of audio-visual media to improve the students’ independence in learning arts and cultures subject. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The sources of the data were the teacher and the students. The result of the research showed that the use of audio-visual media made learning process become more effective and made the students felt happy, be serious and focused on the material being explained. These had raised the students’ independence in learning so that they were willing to perform dancing, playing musical instruments and performing a drama in front of the class. Kata kunci: Media, Audiovisual, Belajar, Seni Budaya.

Abstract The aim of research was to analyze and describe the learning process related to the Competence Standard for Art and Music Appreciation in class VII of SMP Negeri 18 Padang. This research was conducted based on the fact that the student’ achievement in learning was still low. It was more than 50% of the students had score which was under the minimum standard score (75). The result of the research revealed that the causes of the students’ low achievement in learning were the unwell-prepared lesson plan and the learning materials which did not meet the learning goals. Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Pembelajaran, Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Materi Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar.
