Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are significant differences between student learning outcomes using media concept maps and Audio-Visual media on educational statistics material in the Biology Education Study Program by teaching using concept map media and Audiovisual media. This type of research is experimental research. The sample in this study was only 1 class, 32 students. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes use audio-visual media rather than teaching using concept maps, where obtained 𝑋̅1 = 7.806 and SD 𝑋̅1 = 0.788 for Audiovisual Media, while for conventional teaching obtained 𝑋̅2 = 6.333 and SD 𝑋̅2 = 2.224 While the percentage the increase in student learning outcomes of the experimental class was 35.12% and the percentage of the control class increased by 32.20%. The results of data analysis showed t hit> t table (5.43> 2.00). So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of audio-visual media on learning outcomes in biology statistical material for the fourth semester of the Biology Education Study Program.

Abstract

The process of teaching and learning activities uses problems in daily life as a form of improving thinking skills and problem solving, as well as gaining important concept knowledge by using student achievement motivation on computer systems subjects on computer system attitude competencies, computer system knowledge competencies, and competency skills computer system. Teachers at SMKN 10 Surabaya on average use the STAD cooperative model and students' competencies are taught low while researchers use the Problem Based Learning model and make student competencies increase. The design of this study uses 2 x 2 factorial analysis design with independent variables Problem Based Learning models and STAD cooperative models, moderating variables of high achievers motivation and low achievers motivation, and dependent variables competency in computer system attitudes, computer knowledge of computer systems, and computer system skills competencies. The results of this study in Multimedia 10 class students who were taught using PBL learning models were very significant competency compared to STAD cooperatives

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that must be mastered by every students because it relates to everyday life. However, many students consider mathematics to be a difficult and scary subject. Students only consider mathematics as a subject that includes numbers into the formula and the process of memorizing lessons. This results in low students' mathematical communication skills, especially in solving math tasks in the form of stories. This study aims to see the mathematical communication skills of students who are taught through the Team Assisted Individualized (TAI) type of cooperative learning model assisted by interactive media that is better than using scientific learning. The approach used in this research is quantitative. This research is a quasi experiment. The population of this study were all students of class VII and students of class VII 1 as the control class and class VII 3 as the experimental class. The samples were selected by purposive sampling. The research design used was the nonequivalent control group posttest-only design. Retrieval of data in the study using students' mathematical communication tests (posttest). Data collected from the results of the analysis test using SPSS 25 to find normality using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, and hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney U test. Regarding the research objectives, the results obtained from this study are students' mathematical communication skills. through cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualized (TAI) assisted by interactive media gives an effect compared to students who get scientific learning. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U test, it is known that the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed), namely 0.001 <α 0.05.

Abstract

This paper discusses, a systematic method for establishing and maintaining an effective training program that meets the requirements and expectations of road traffic law enforcers (Metropolitan Police and Traffic Officers) as per (South African Police Service Act 68 of 1995 & National Road Traffic Act 39 of 1996 and National Road Traffic Regulation, 2000). The systematic approach to road traffic law enforcers training includes a professional approach that is distinct, yet interrelated, in phases. These phases include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Road traffic law enforcement training focus amongst other on outcome based training systems such as work integrated learning, performance-based training, training system development, instructional systems development, and other similar methods. For the purpose of this paper, theoretical and practical training are interchangeable. The systematic approach method may also be used in conjunction with other training organizations that contain road traffic safety professional training and qualification requirements.

Abstract

Guided Discovery Learning is a learning model that is considered capable of improving student learning outcomes while Self-efficacy is self-confidence in an individual’s abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning model and self-efficacy towards student learning outcomes in biology class. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. This study has a sample of 200 students from 256 students. The technique used is Cluster random sampling. The instruments used are multiple choices and questionnaire. Data from the three variables are analysed using the Two-Way ANOVA Test and the Tukey Test, at a significance level of 0.005. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that Guided Discovery Learning model and an individual’s self-efficacy can improve student learning outcomes. Both Guided Discovery Learning model and self-efficacy can improve student learning outcomes and have positive interactions between the two variables. The implications of this study are as a basis for increasing the use of learning models using technology, and teachers as educators are able to encourage students to improve self-efficacy.

Abstract

Web-based e-learning in management introductory courses at Pamulang University, this study discusses studying e-learning in subjects at Pamulang University specifically on management introductory courses. This research was conducted at Pamulang University. This research was conducted in March 2020 until July 2020. The research method uses qualitative methods with primary data or secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the use of e-learning at Pamulang University has provided benefits for system improvement and for improving the quality of comfort. And e-learning learning has been implemented well by Pamulang University or more focused on management study programs. Because e-learning has become a mandatory part, Pamulang University continues to improve so that its utilization continues to improve. At least some of the things that are unique from this research are the University of Pamulang using e-learning as a whole. All subjects must be scheduled to represent lectures conducted face-to-face. This supports the un pam students to have a closeness with technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in class X virus material in UISU Medan Private High School. The research method uses descriptive research methods and types of correlational research to see if there is an effect of using the inquiry model on self-controlling teachers with a research sample of 2 classes that were randomly assigned using cluster random sampling technique. In class X-1 they are taught the guided inquiry learning model, and class X-2 is taught using the conventional learning model. The instrument used in this study was a test of critical thinking skills in the form of a written test. The data analysis technique uses correlation regression. Based on the calculation, it is found that there is an influence in the use of the Inquiry Model on Teacher Self-Controlling with a value of r = 0.43, in the value of Covariate Analysis using SPSS, namely 55.20 ± 15.65, which is significantly greater than the class control that is equal to 50.10 ± 11.44. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant influence in the use of the Inquiry model on Teacher Self-Controlling at the real level α = 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in student motivation and learning achievement in KKPI subjects between students who use the face-to-face learning model and students who use blended learning models, increased motivation and student achievement in KKPI subjects due to the application of the blended model learning, and the interaction of the influence of the application of learning models and motivation on KKPI student learning achievement at SMK 1 Kamal Bangkalan. This quasi-experimental study uses two groups, namely the experimental group using the blended learning model and the control group using the face-to-face learning model. The study population was students of class XI SMKN 1 Kamal Bangkalan. The research sample consisted of 57 students divided into 30 students in the control group and 27 students in the experimental group. Data collection using questionnaires and multiple choice test questions. The results showed that there were significant differences between motivation and student achievement using the blended learning model and students using the face-to-face learning model, there was a significant increase in student motivation and learning achievement due to the application of the blended learning model, and there was no interaction of influence the application of learning models and motivation to student learning achievement.
