Abstract

In the midst of technological development and increasing need to encourage people to large exploitation of environment, resulting in demage and environmental pollution. Humans is natural destroyer agent, in an efforto preserve the environment need to developed conceptual continuously. Based on observations, shows that students still have the attitude of environmental conservation is low. Design of learning not to lead to the settlement solving in the enviroment arounda the student, so that a low sense love for the environment and fostering poor attitude of environmental conservation. he learning model is applied to improve the condition is Problem-Map. This learning model implemented in several stages: (1) Problem Based Learning and (2) Making the Mind Map in solving problems. This research will develop learning model Problem-Map, the development of research methods using models Borg and Gall (1983). Based on trial results through the activities of PTK learning model suggests that the model of teaching Problem-Map can developing attitude of environmental conservation students at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang

Abstract

Headmaster leadership is the determinant of the school future. The very prominent role and important by headmaster is the learning supervision role. This research aimed at knowing the headmaster leaderships style of SMPN 26 (State Junior High School 26) of Malang city in improving the education quality, knowing the headmaster role of SMPN 26 of Malang City in implementing the supervision role to improve the learning process in school, knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the headmaster of SMPN 26 of Malang city in implementing the supervision role in improving the learning process in school. Data were collected by document analysis, observation and depth interview to 5 teachers, vice headmaster of curriculum, vice headmaster, public relations staffs, headmaster, and were analyzed with descriptive qualitative approach technique. Based on data analysis , showed that ( 1 ) headmaster leadership style of SMPN 26 of Malang city tend to use democratic participative leadership and authoritarian leadership style in urgent condition ( 2 ) the headmaster role of SMPN 26 of Malang city in improving the learning process by giving intensive cultivation to the teachers through individual supervision, direct class observation ( 3 ) the implementation of direct class supervision observation was influenced by external factors,either supporting or inhibiting factors.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia still needs to be improved both in human resources and components in the learning process . Improving the quality of education is very important because the quality of a nation is determined by the education factor . Education in Indonesia is still emphasis on cognitive learning outcomes , so the ability of other students as metacognitive less empowered . Those problems need to be addressed , either by applying learning strategies Reciprocal Teaching ( RT ) based Lesson Study . Application of Lesson Study based learning is expected to empower metacognitive skills of learners .The purpose of this study is to explain the improvement of the learning process with regard metacognitive skills of students after learning Reciprocal teaching strategies implemented based Lesson Study. This study used two cycles with each cycle has four stages . These stages form a spiral cycle which includes 1 ) planning, 2 ) granting the action , 3 ) observation , and 4 ) reflection . Lesson Study is an improvement of learning undertaken collaboratively by measures planning ( Plan) , implementation of the plan learning in the classroom ( Do) , and reflection activities that discussions about things that happen in the learning process in the classroom ( See) . Lesson Study activities aimed at improving the quality of learning that has three stages , namely Plan, Do and See. Samples used in this research is student of Class C in 2014 as many as 45 people . The results showed learning strategies Reciprocal Teaching ( RT ) based Lesson Study can improve student metacognitive ability IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.

Abstract

Main objectives of this research are to analyze the increase in understanding biochemistry concepts comprehensively caused by practice concept modifcation (Carbohydate-Enzyme) and analysis the effciency of practical activities caused by practice concept modifcation (Carbohydate-Enzyme). Research conducted in September through November 2015 are analytical descriptive research, there are 80 students as respondents were devided into 2 groups of treatment, namely group A as group with practice module that has not been modifed and group B with practice module that have been modifed. Paired t test result showed that group with practice module were modifed to get the score of post-test evaluation better and signifcantly different than group with practice module that has not been modifed. The validation result of practice module by students, instucture, material experts and media experts showed that practice module modifed is eligible to used as practical module in the future.

Abstract

Learning courses Human Anatomy Physiology done with theory and practical activities. Lectures more often done with less optimal activity theory and practical activities on the course. The anavaliability of facilities and infrastructure to support a credible form of practicum become one of the obstacles practicum. The use of lab book that does not comply with the conditions of infrastructure and student characteristics often cause students to confusion and anavaliability of structured guidance led to lab activities are often constrained. The reality will be a problem in achieving the desired learning objectives. Hence the need for a development of instructional objectives appropriate to the infrastructure as well as the characteristics of the students. Development is done with reference to the development model Thiagarajan defne, design, develop, and disseminate. Instructional produce research results that have been validated by materials experts , media experts , and practitioners as well as test results that indicate valid criteria and ft for use.

Abstract

The learning of microbiology needs the learning materials as a learning resource based on basic competencies to be achieved, so that the learning can be easyly. The purpose of this study is to develop the learning material as microorganism morfology based scientifc approach. The learning material developed with Thiagarajan development model consisting of; stage defne, design, develop, and disseminate. However, disseminate stage is not implemented. The research data is a validation questionnaire scores the learning material and it is converted in the form of a percentage of the validity criteria. The results showed that the learning material is valid. In conclusion, the learning material as microorganism morfology is valid and viable, so it can be used in the learning of microbiology.

Abstract

Based on observations and interviews with researchers lecturer of Biochemistry at the IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The other problem is there are no print instructional materials that accommodate the needs of students. During learning less associate professor with the problems that exist around the student so that the existing textbooks are less able to encourage students to read. The consequences of the most visible problem is the low student results on the concepts learned in the course of Biochemistry. Based on observations, researcher proposes to compile Biochemistry teaching materials by using models Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research is the development of research. The development of this textbook refers Thiagarajan development model consisting of four stages. Based on the results of the research, the results of expert validation material for textbook Biochemistry shows the average percentage of 89,3 with the criteria very good. Media expert validation results of the textbook Biochemistry shows the average percentage of 78,7 with both criteria. Results of the validation practitioners to textbook Biochemistry lecturer shows the average percentage of 95 criteria very good. Legibility on student test results overall show that the textbook Biochemistry with a percentage of 95 indicates the criteria very good. Biochemistry textbook can increase interest in reading and learning outcomes of students on test readability.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) increase the motivation of class VIII student of MTs Al-Amin Pakis on the subject of growth and development, using the learning model of ARIAS at strategic cooperative learning Think-Pair-Share (TPS), (2) increase the yield class VIII student of MTs Al-Amin Pakis on the subject of growth and development, using ARIAS model study on cooperative learning strategies ThinkPair-Share (TPS). In this research is classroom action research (PTK/Classroom Action Research) by using a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used to examine all the data that have been collected for researchers carrying out the practice of applying the learning model of ARIAS at learning strategies in the classroom TPS VIII through science lessons about growth and development in MTs Al-Amin Ferns. Data derived from the results of observations, interviews, tests and other data. Data analysis was performed through three steps: data reduction, a data display (presentation of data), conclusion drawing/verifcation (conclusion). Based on the analysis it can be concluded that: (1) the use of the learning model ARIAS on cooperative learning strategies Think-Pair-Share, can increase learning motivation eighth grade students of MTs Al-Amin Ferns in the subject of growth and development, (2) use ARIAS learning model on cooperative learning strategies Think-Pair-Share, can improve learning outcomes eighth grade students of MTs Al-Amin Ferns in the subject of growth and development.

Abstract

The Basic Process of Learning Biology Lecture Course Biology Education Budi Utomo IKIP Malang expected to facilitate the prospective teachers who have professional competence and pedagogy. The process of course are done not much use of learning resources that can stimulate students in order to be sensitive to the problems in society and are able to integrate between science by technological development. Thus, a new innovation that is required one of which develop teaching materials science technology-based society. Learning materials developed only limited subject matter skills open and close the lesson of biology. Teaching material development model of open and closed development model is a biology lesson Thiagarajan 1974: consists of defne, design, develop, and disseminate (special stage is not yet implemented). Technology community science was declared valid. In conclusion, the material taught on the subject of open and close skills lessons of biology-based technology the community science was developed can be used in the process of learning basic biology lectures.
